I use to have lunch at the Bakery when visiting clients in the area and instantly fell in love. I haven't been for around 8 years due to moving and found it has been beautifully refurbished and wider range of food and even icecream. And still tastes amazing pastry is simply the best around.

This is a huge cafe / Eatery in the heart of Lobethal. Lots of choice of food, pastry and sweets! Girls who took order are all very cheerful & friendly. I highly recommend this place for any one visiting Lobethal.

Not sure if the recipes have changed for the pies and pasties but the chunky steak pie diddnt contain chunkst and tasted like dish washing liquid. The BBQ chicken pie was so loaded with herb flakes it was nearly green and all I could taste. No BBQ flavour in site. Lovely pastry, but the fillings are now pretty ordinary unfortunately. Breads, cakes and icreams are delicious.

We were driving through the hills and decided to stopped by to have a lunch. It was our first time. We had one of the best mushroom pies, vegan pie and pasties with coffee and cakes. The girls were friendly fast and afficiant. Met with management. Very friendly and informative. They let us try their housemade icecream & we discovered that's everything is made in-store & locally harvested. Some great talents and beautiful uniforms. Bought bread & was gifted their signature pasta to try. We enjoyed it so much that I went back again. This place should be awarded many times over. Thank you!

This is my go to haven best of everything I usually come out with a huge take home box full of goodies as I live a fair way away. The ham rolls are even to die for, apple strudel, pepper pies, coffee and the lemon gelati omg, love love love this place and its consistancy, thankyou so much💚💞🍀🌹

The dining area has modern fresh decor, with comfortable booth seating along with casual dining. The pies are full of flavour while the cream bun was filled with fresh cream, not mock cream. If you dine in & order a jumbo coffee, it is definitely jumbo sized.

Perched on the side of a hill and just off of the Main Street is this fantastic bakery. The coffee was made exactly as our group wanted and the pastries were fantastic. We didn’t have anything savoury so I can’t comment of what it was like. There is plenty of places to sit even in peak time and, I’ll call it, the “sun room” around the corner give a fantastic view over Lobethal, especially when the sun starts to set over the hills. The staff were friendly and very quick and there is plenty of parking.

Always visit for a pie and a coffee when I'm in town one of my favourite bakery's in Australia and I've lived in 6 states! The other thing I love is a few months ago when the bushfire destroyed so many homes they offered free food to those affected and what could be more heart warming then that!

This bakery is huge! Very helpful staff. They have had a very busy few days and although they had nearly sold out of most hot food by the time we arrived later in the day, the staff went out of their way to make me something to eat. It was extremely appreciated. They have also been doing their bit for the local community by offering free food to those affected by the bushfires in the area at the moment. So if you are driving through, stop by and support not only the town but the bakery too.

Beautiful bakery with friendly staff! I had a sausage roll (it wasn't the greatest sausage roll I've had however it was well and truly not the worst). My girlfriend had a mango smoothie which was very delicious. We shared a large donut which despite its massive size was relatively easy to eat as it was nice and fluffy. The view from the dining area is also very stunning.

Had the army roll huge!!!, jam Berliner, chilli kransky had to eat the Berliner an hour later and only got half way through the role, the kransky was one of the best I have had.Well worth the trip.👍👍👍

Traditional bakery food, most things I’ve tried over the years are pretty good, the service has always been great. Coffee is much like the food, probably the best in the area but it’s off a pretty low base and could definitely be better but again I’ve had worse from cafes over the years. If you feel like an old fashioned bakery meal ( and I don’t mean that in a disparaging way) I’d recommend stopping in, if you want to try something a bit more modern id recommend the Uraidla bakery.

A great bakery to call into if around this way. Modern and clean with a fabulous range of pastries, cakes and an excellent display of icecreams and sorbets. We opted for pasties and cheese and chilli kranksies, followed by the very generously served icecreams. So delicious. The staff are very polite too.

Someone once said if you don't stand for something you will fall for anything! It never ceases to amaze me that now when people in our country stand up for what they believe is right and wrong they get abused by people who don't agree with them. What is this really all about? What happened to free speech and respect for each individual? We seem to have a situation where it appears to me that the minority is ruling rather than the majority. Is it really necessary to lodge boycott when someone merely shares their opinion? Does this mean now that we no longer have a free speech in this country and we have to be beholden to being bullied and cajoled by those that don't agree with us. I would suggest that rather than a boycott that you go and have coffee at this this lovely bakery and experience their friendly excellent service and products for yourselves and chill out and stop trying to have us all conform to your ideas by abuse and shouting us down if what you believe is so good why do you have to try to shove it down our neck! I would prefer to be swallowing nice coffee and cakes at Lobethal Bakery!
