Fantastic bakery! I tried the spinach and cheese roll, & donuts first visit and then the veggie pasty and the lemon tart the next day. All were delicious just get there early to avoid missing out on your first choice! Very popular and for very good reason.

Great little find on a road trip ! Spinach roll was first class. Service was pleasant and efficient. Also I'm told the coffee was far better than anticipated !

Heading to the Coorong National Park..., and found this place by chance, as we were all feeling peckish... thought the only option was servo food hahaha... winner winner chicken 🐔 dinner. The Service, fast and friendly considering it was extremely busy for a Saturday (mid) morning. Savoury and Sweet Pastries were fresh, huge selection to choose from including the fridges with an abundance of beverages to cater for all tastes (no alcoholic drinks) Would have given 5 Stars, but was let down by my cafe latte, which was bitter and not drinkable. Shame... 🥺

We are a healthy eating family and some might say why then eat at a bakery, I say all good food is a must have in moderation, so on that note whenever we are on a journey passing through a town a bakery pit stop is a must to try and the Meningie Bakery gets a big 5 Star thumbs up from our whole family, hearty pies and a great variety of much goodness to devour, not to be underestimated and highly recommended AAA+++

Delicious food and friendly staff. Can’t go wrong. ________ So I stopped here a year after this photo was taken and ordered a salad roll which had almost no salad on it. So sad. This town had a great vibe but the charm has gone away this year. _______ Another year on! I went here today at the end of the day the staff were lovely and they gave us extra free food because they were closing! Highly recommend!

Coming home from Robe, needed a break and a bite to eat. What a great decision. Absolutely fabulous bakery. Best Beef and potatoe pie I've ever had. Staff great and very quick service. Was very busy, which says it all. Macaroon tarts just like my late mother used to make.

We had a sausage roll, veg pastie, cheese and tomato toasted sandwich, Kitchener bun and sprinkle doughnut. The veg pastie was average, pastry wasn't very exciting and the veg didn't have enough seasoning. The Kitchener bun was quite dense rather than being light and there wasn't enough jam, the fresh cream was nice though. They don't use real cheese on their sandwiches.

Good little bakery just off the main street in meningie. Wide variety of pies, pasties and other savory baked goods. They also had a selection of cakes and tarts for the sweet tooth. Breads, rolls ect fresh baked here. Well worth a stop in on the way through town

Hi, the last time I went into this bakery the staff are really friendly and the coffee is good! I bought a sausage roll! I'm sorry but I didn't enjoy it, it was big, and stodgy I just couldn't eat it, the bit that I did eat sat in my stomach, so I opened it up, and it had a lot of breadcrumbs in it, no wonder it was so heavy, I ended up giving it to the chooks when I got home, the dogs didn't want to eat it either, no I will not be buying a sausage roll from their again!

Forced off the main road due to a crash, this was the only place open. Completely swamped with customers, they held their own and got through all the people quickly and with a smile. Coffee was good and so was the food, a very good place to be caught in. Highly recommend.

Was all excited to have some of the famous bakery food, the family were talking about it the whole way out. I was a little disappointed at the dryness of the filling to my steak and onion pie, the vanilla slice was runny and fell to pieces, but was quite enjoyable. If not for the dryness of the pie I would have given a 5 star.

Competent bakery, I would avoid times when it's very busy due to the waiting time. Nothing special, but not bad either. They close half an hour or more earlier than their stated opening times, in my experience.
