Friendly staff, wide selection of hot pies and sausage rolls etc and cakes/pastries. A little on the pricey side with regular style steak oues at $6, gourmet pies at $8 and sausage rolls $5. Pies are pretty big though. I got a steak and kidney, my favorite, with nice chunky pieces of both steak and kidney in a lovely gravy.

Hubby had the lamb, rosemary & port wine pie and thoroughly enjoyed it, wants to come back for another one real soon. I had a caramel tart which was yummy. The loaf of bread we bought to take home was delicious as well. Excellent bakery.....we'll be back for sure! If you're passing through Mt. Pleasant be sure to stop in for a bite.

If I could give this place 10☆ I would. Totally the best pies, sausage rolls, cornish pasties iv ever eaten, not only is the food so full of flavour but the food is also packed with ingredients. The service iv always received is always polite and friendly and you always feel welcomed 🙂

I ride/drive an hour just for the pies, Pasty’s an sausage rolls 👌🏼 I get them all each time an always amazing! THE best pie I’ve had in my entire life. We had the Steak and gravy and the steak and pepper pie. The vanilla slice was awesome too, made with fresh cream. She also cooked us FRESH hot cinnamon donuts to take home. Easily the best bakery I’ve ever been to!

Highly rate the pastries given that they're hand made mostly with meat from the Mount Pleasant Butcher! Their home made bread and sourdough is absolutely delicious! Great place to stop past on the way to the river or if your a local 😉

My Wife and I went for a pleasant ride in the countryside on Monday and stumbled across this lovely home town bakery. The people there were lovely and friendly. We got there a little late in the day so the pickings were slim however I was able to procure a Chunky Pepper Steak Pie, my wife who is allergic to onion was unfortunately SOL getting the Chunky Steak and Gravy Pie (next time we'll head out earlier or phone ahead). The pie I had was absolutely delicious. The steak was definitely chunky and tender and succulent (OMG my mouth is watering just thinking about it). The gravy was very tasty and not too peppery, I would have liked it a little more so but that's my taste. All in all a must visit place if you are in the area around lunch time. It's even worth making a special trip for. We will definitely be going back there. Great job everyone there.

First time entering this shop was kinda hoping to get a Hamburger but alas not to be, decided on the Lamb Rosemary and Port wine Pie oh wow was I surprised - absolutely delicious and the good wife had the Chicken and Veg which was just as tasty. What a find! We were in the area and decided to stop by for a quick take away and a drink and were greeted nicely by a very tall fellow. The pies looked very good and after telling us what each one was we chose and left. I couldn’t wait to get into it and wow! this was seriously one of the best pies I have ever eaten. I had the Steak & Gravy and it was moist in the middle, crunchy on top and just delicious. They are rather large pies ($6 ea I think) but they were absolutely worth every cent. My partner did not speak eating her Steak & Mushroom - rare for her! Do yourself a favour and stop by when in Mt Pleasant. I’m already planning my next trip so I can try another one! Well done guys!

The building is the old flour mill turned into a bakery which is rather appropriate! The staff are friendly and the food is yummy. Also on Saturdays there is a market on the grounds! So love this bakery, prices are reasonable too.

Today the bins and cake were a few days old I had a honey log which was stale and we also had a lemon Merang cake which was also stale. The sign inside the shop says all bakery products baked fresh daily doesn't means it is sold fresh that day. So disappointed

It is not just a Bakery but a general store too! Prices are good and the food is wonder. On the weekends they offer gluten free sausage rolls and during the week they have gf cakes and sandwiches. The people are very friendly and I love going to this bakery. The pies are much bigger and tastier than any I have had. The general store offers things like bread, deo,drinks,coffee and tea as well as milk and other things. Well worth visiting!

I don't normally do reviews of places on Google. But 4 hours hrs later I'm thinking of that pie ihad. Worth the money.. and bloody tasty... Not just your average pie, it's was amazing.. say the best pie I've had in 14 years of being in OZ. I had steak and kidney.. whoever is making these pies you're doing a good job.
