Without a doubt one of the bests in the town. Very friendly and professional staff and nice service. The cakes and sweets are just phenomenal. Bakery items are nice and fresh specially i love the croissants. The coffee is so good as well. The snacks and sandwiches are delicious and the atmosphere is nice and warm. If you love cakes, chocolates or bread and sweets, that is the place to be. Well done to the team.

Sensational selection of beautiful and delicious cakes - they have small/ individual cakes and large size cakes. The white chocolate & raspberry cake was just amazing - beautifully decorated and so many layers of flavour. Their croissants are make in the true French style - utterly delicious. I’m not a religious person but this bakery is as close as I get to going to church. Everything they do is on a sublime level from the sourdough loaves to their cakes and patisseries. If I occasionally have to wait for my coffee or food, it’s always worth it. After all, spiritual experiences should be savoured!

Used to be pretty good but also pretty high on price. Service slipping a little. Used to be able to sit down for a coffee with a glass of complementary cold sparkling water which was a very nice touch. Distinguishing and price justifying. Last time we got tepid tap water. Pretty silly as it detracts from the nice flavours of their food, cakes, teas and coffees. I don't mind if a quality place charges, but when a used to be quality place charges then prunes the quality ... oh no baby. Business Suicide. Seen it far too often!

The one thing I absolutely love about Muratti Cakes and Gateaux is that they are consistent every single time I have been here. I have had their cakes, biscottis, croissants and coffees, and it is always perfectly made. Every time I have here they are always busy which is a testament to the quality they deliver to their customers. The cakes here are so well presented and delicious and consistently good over many years. This review is based on buying product. I have never sat in. Purchasing experience was unpleasant due to loud unmasked visitors being served at cake counter the time but can't really blame Muratti for that. I tried their pies/pasties/sausage rolls on this visit. They were good too.

I love how good your guys service is even when it's busy you guys still uphold a high standard for service. Coffee is delicious, I love the sausage rolls and I haven't had a dessert I didn't like although the pistachio one I couldn't taste much of the pistachio flavour it was more of a plain creamy flavour but its was still delicious!

Service is always friendly, but very much rushed - cafe is constantly busy so staff are always under the pump. The single serve gateaux are a bit rich/overly sweet for me, but the cheesecakes are perfect! Iced coffees are always a winner too.

Sweets for breakfast reminds me so much of my days living in Paris! Croissants.....Yes Please! Handmade, light and DELICIOUSLY fresh. A wide selection of desserts to choose from! When asked, if all of their products are handmade, you know they definitely are when you taste that 1st bite. From the macarons to mille feuille. Wonderful to know that Adelaide do have great bakery for us to treat ourselves once or twice a week :-)

It’s a busy small store so service wasn’t so quick but could not fault when served. With the current environment just need to line up outside for distancing. Cake looked and tasted good. Easy online ordering and need to know where to park to get in and out quickly.

I was looking for a good patisserie to order a birthday cake. Muratti popped up as an option close to home and I rang to place my order for a Pistachio chocolate cake. Spoke to a very polite team member. Collection was easy and I also picked up a veg pasty as I was feeling a bit peckish. The cake was absolutely sumptuous..it looked great and tasted even better. The pistachio mousse and chocolate mousse on a base of chocolate sponge make the cake so light that it melts in your mouth. Topped with a pistachio praline, chocolate and cream this is a must try. Price wise it is a bit more than what you would pay at a patisserie chain but you are paying for quality no doubt. The pasty was flaky and made for a delicious quick bite. I can't wait to go back and try more things but for now I know where to get my cake fix.

Muratti Cakes & Gateaux is a well-known bakery cafe in a suburb (around 10 minutes drive north from Rundle Mall). Matcha and Macedonia cake (As $8.90) and iced mocha coffee (Medium sized - AS $ 6.40)are highly recommended. The combination of high intensity matcha cream and a layer of cake at the bottom-est layer is superb. Iced mocha is served with a scoop of chocolate ice cream and without ice cubes. Whipped cream is optional. The iced mocha can be served in 3 different sizes: small, medium and large. The staffs are very friendly.

Superb. SO many amazing creations, beautifully decorated cakes, gateaux and savoury food too. We really enjoyed the sunny morning sitting under an umbrella, outside Muratti, enjoying a moist, fresh berry cheesecake and coffee. The display is amazing it makes a decision very difficult. Parking in side streets or the car park behind the shops is usually necessary as Prospect Road is always busy. Don't forget - speed limit is 50kms along the shopping precinct on Prospect Road. Muratti Cakes and Gateaux, 114b Prospect Road, Prospect is opens from 7.30am to 6pm. Wheelchair access is available.

I ordered a Berry Noisette from Muratti Cakes & Gateux and it was one of the best cakes I have ever eaten. Everyone loved it. The cake was presented flawlessly with nothing out of place and the chocolate topper with my message was perfect. The cake was light and not overwhelmingly sweet like most other cakes so it made for very easy eating. The cakes are a bit pricey but I never regretted my purchase and will definately be purchasing many times in the future for special occasions. You pay for what you get, and we got perfection. Seriously fantastic place to get a cake for any occasion. The place was busy, but they had plenty of staff on which was a good sign. They had plenty of displays and the staff were helpful with explaining the different options and how big a cake we should get. Everything about the experience was easy and the flavour and look of the cake was great. A lot of their cake options was also available in tarts or smaller sizes so you could try stuff out if you wanted as well.

Fantastic coffee, great staff and the most amazing pear tart I've ever eaten. Many people do stand near the counter browsing but when I went there browsing, every staff member was ready to take my order if I wanted. The cakes here are delicious and so beautiful to look at. My only quarms are that due to how busy they were when I was there is was extremely noisy and echoey. Also most of their lunch menu items had run out as we were there a little after lunch time and that was really disappointing. I had to get a pastry item instead which was very tasty but a little over-priced seeing as it unfortunately seemed to have been re-heated in the microwave; it was not that flaky crispy experience I was expecting.
