Having been to Orange Spot a few times, we keep coming back. Their vanilla slice is firm, tasty, and big enough for two to enjoy a nice peace each! The pies are genuine pies, amd pastys are great, good size and mix of vegetables. Reasonable on street parking, friendly staff, steady service speed, good coffee - I'll need to ponder that more - and good value. Definitely become a regular

Food was really good here, I had a chunky steak pie and it was wicked, flavour was awesome and the pastry was soft. My girlfriend had the Chunky Steak and Onion and loved it as well. My sister had a chunky steak and mushroom and thoroughly enjoyed it too. Only negative is the pasty, got so hyped seeing it was the #1 but I really don't think it was anything special.

LOVED the food! 
MOST of the staff were super lovely, except one (and its this one staff member that motivates this feedback). This staff member (slightly older lady) was just plain mean to other staff members. She slammed cupboards in anger, reprimanded staff loud enough for everyone in the room to hear, It never ended and it was super uncomfortable to witness. All other staff members were professional and a delight to deal with by comparison. I hope the owner reads this if only to highlight the need to protect staff from this overt workplace bullying. A kind, safe and respectful work culture goes a long way if you want loyal, happy staff. PS the yellow post-it note system for taking orders seemed to slow things down and aggravate the above staff member (who constantly had issues reading them). You can order proper Order Form pads for cafes at a small cost (win win). I’ll be back for the pies, but I just hope your poor staff are better treated on our next visit!

Cornish pasties are the best I have ever had. Pastry was perfect and the chunky vegetable filling was amazing. Next time I travel to Adelaide I will certainly make my way to Glenelg and this Bakery again. 😊

I’ve been here several times. Coffee isn’t great. Pasties however, are amazing! Today I went again and got a slice of banana cake and the icing had gone off. Very disappointed and has put me off wanting to return. Management, you need to be on top of this as that’s a big health concern.

Orange Spot is a landmark bakery in Glenelg that has thousands of loyal devotees. They have awards to prove the quality of their delicious baked goods. The queues out the door are also testimony to their tried and true recipes. And there are plenty of modern offerings as Ornge Spot has moved with the times. On the day I visited (the latest of many) the service was a bit slowww but the staff as always, obliging and friendly. The interior is in need of a makeover as it can be rather gloomy in some corners. To be fair though, people overlook the decor as the menu offerings are so scrumptious!

This place is amazing. If you're in Glenelg & hungry you need to pay this place a visit. Everything is good, but the pasties are a life changing experience. I usually drop in on one of my bike rides, but would happily crawl the 37kms from home just for something to eat from the Orange Spot Bakery.

They used a hard crusted bread for my ham & salad roll, it was so hard to bite through, it squeezed out the filling on each bite. Had to bite down so hard to get through the crust on each bite, the filling which was very nice and tasty, fresh & plentiful, it just got squeezed out the sides on each bite. Wrong type of roll to use, it should be crisp and brittle with a fluffy inside. not a continental thick crust, which still tasted nice in it's self, but the construction of the roll as a complete meal was very messy.

Very nice coffee ☕️ too and the place feels really clean and efficient. No wonder it gets so busy! (just looked at some of the other reviews... I didn't know you did heart bikkies!)

The is an institution in itself the staff are friendly and the food is amazing and full of flavour leaving you wanting more. You can sit down and enjoy or take away. Parking is pretty easy aswell. I just tried there new butter chicken pie and can say enough good things about it and could have gone for another one. The deserts like the pies leave this amazing fast in your mouth while your taste buds are left dancing. I'd highly recommended anyone who comes to Adelaide definitely stops by for a pie, pastie and definitely desert

Egg and bacon rolls are incredible, as are their various sour dough loaves they sell. The pasties are very, very highly regarded so on the food front it ticks all the boxes. Only issue is the price, so many times I will pop over to pick various things up and it’s just so much more than I expected. Because there is always a queue I never ask how or why but rarely does it not make me have a slight double take. Highly recommend, fresh as you could wish for and always delicious.

This bakery won so many awards for their pasties and pies, and after eating all their award winning pies, you can see why. The pies all taste amazing, and the sweet section all looked delicious. There is tables inside and outside to eat in, or simply takeaway. Be careful, there is sometimes a long queue to order especially at lunch times.

This is my favourite bakery anywhere - great meat pasties - they are a highlight - London buns, Kitchener buns, Finger Buns, Doughnuts - the list goes on - just sensational - always worth the visit. I ordered food via UberEats. They didn’t have all the items that I ordered so they made 2 unsuccessful call attempts to me to let me know. I managed to call them back to be told the driver had left but they had included 2 other items to replace what I had ordered (which they didn’t have). This bakery is in Glenelg, a lovely seaside suburb of Adelaide. The choice of yummy things to eat is way too long to list. Their pasties are a must to try and a favourite of mine is the Kitchener Bun made with fresh cream. You can either take away or eat in. If you are ever in the area do yourself a favour and visit the bakery I don’t think you will be disappointed.
