C. M.Absolutely love Vili's pies. Their beef & mushroom pie was the first pie of their range that I tried & loved. Before this I tried pies from another 2 companies & I hated it, thank god a friend had me try Vili's, it has the the best range of pies ever.

S. P.A Lady Called Lisa. I have often raved about Vili's especially their Pasties, Meat Pies and Sausage Rolls, and nothing has changed in this review. They are the gold standard that every other similar business tries to copy. Now Mr Vili and the Vili family are ingenious and gifted, we know, and kudos to that, but who makes it happen? Their staff. Today I'm talking about Lisa, but truly nearly anyone on that front counter at Mile End could be praised as high. People like Lisa make the company what it is. Sometimes the company has "seconds" of baked goods, perfectly fresh and edible but not up to the mark of what they will sell at advertised prices (and that mark is high), these items are cheaper. This lady made it her mission to see what items she could find that my 11 ( hey my kids had that many, not me) grandchildren would likely consume. Already on her feet all day, she ran out the back several times , bless her. And nothing was too much for her to do for me, the customer. It says so much for the company that the staff are helpful to each other, working together well, speaking well to each other.
These are tough times, so tough for many that buying a meat pie is a treat, a big treat.
Dear staff, thanks for being so nice, working so hard. Everyone has their own story, difficulties and no doubt working at Vili's is high paced and probably high pressure, we know nothing about it, but we love you dear people, thank you Lisa, you ( and so many other staff) are gold standard. Yep rush over to Vili's at Mile End, they still have indoor eating ( though not as much due to Covid) Also thank-you Traffic Guy who was on duty lunch time 24 July 2020. He made the other car-park traffic give way so my husband who has suffered a stroke and has walking difficulties, could safely get clear of the traffic. What a nice man. Typical of Vili's Mile End.
