E. &. E.Cannot fault the pastries at this place! Consistency fresh and delicious - which same goes for their cabinet sandwiches and wraps.
Probably my third or fourth time visiting here over the years, but first time ‘dining-in’. Each time is very ‘hit or miss’ with coffees and friendliness of staff. On this occasion my cappuccino was very sour and bitter, and I’ve had this occur one time before as well. I do think it depends on who makes it, so would love to see some consistency! Their other location seems to really hit the mark with their coffees in all aspects and would love if this cafe could be just as reliable. Other than this, would 100% recommend their cinnamon scrolls… so so good!
T.This is a fabulous bakery and the baguettes are high quality (I lived in Paris above a bakery, so feel confident in making this claim). Garlic focaccia is equally delicious and almond croissants on par with the best in Brisbane. The shining light is the famous Breton speciality, the Kouign Amann. The caramélisation is spot on and the custard centre is always creamy and beautifully complements the solid crust on the bottom. The only issue is they only turn up on Friday, Saturday and Sunday....

I bring my children here for quality talk time, or I come along to write and be inspired by the array of community connections and spirit that has been fostered by the Banneton girls.

Try the croissants 🥐 just like the Parisian ones! Oh and the hot cross buns are definitely a promise worth taking home... if they last that long 😜
The Quiche is a joy to munch on at lunch and the Turkish sandwiches are worth it to fill you up all day.
The sour dough might be the most famous for it’s gut-loving benefits and indulgent taste (we buy weekly).
Get in before their closing hours so you don’t miss out - they sell out often.

The multigrain sourdough has been a twice-weekly staple in our house, and over the years, has never let us down.
The choc chip cookies are also a beautiful weekend treat - as would be the beautiful range of pastries.

The multigrain sourdough is jaw droppingly good. The almonds in there!!!!! Pleeaaase!!! I need to buried with this bread so I can take it to the next life

V. I. M.Quiet during the week but can be VERY busy at weekends... Pastries/food are not cheap but are very nice. Pot of tea at $4.50 is a little expensive too. Easy parking (undercover parking usually available downstairs). Good place to meet.. and great spot for watching the world go by.
R. L.Not the greatest service but coffee is decent. Pricing is very pretentious. I recently ordered a coffee and tipped $1 change. Upon return she had 'lost it' and had to make another. I asked to add on a babycino which was a further $2.60 - I scrounged around in my wallet and was 20 cents short which she proceeded to huff impatiently until I could find it - if I hadn't given her my $1 tip I could have afforded their overpriced babycino! Pretty pathetic when most places are less than $1 or free.
On another occasion, I ordered a toasted sandwich but had to wait 10 minutes at the counter for someone to take my order whilst one girl made coffee and the other one was outside tragically flirting with a guy at the table. This place has the potential to be great with a little retail knowledge.
H. v. A.I've just bought a cinnamon scroll from these lovely ladies, friendly service and oh my goodness, one of the best cinnamon scrolls that I've had. The only problem I see for me is that they are really close to where I work, this will take self control!
J. F.Good coffee. Bring the kids and dog. Try the bacon and cream cheese scrolls - yum. Lots of out door area to sit. Sunday mornings are buzzing.
T.I work in the centre and it is my favourite place to get coffee. The staff are always lovely and the coffee is really nice. Would definitely recommend :)
