Seriously good pepper steak pie. Good coffee too. Had to queue but the staff are very efficient. Possibly the best pie I’ve had in Brisbane & I know a few good bakeries. I wonder why it took me 11 years to find this place.

Amazing bread and pastries. Excellent sourdough. Great donuts. Can sell out quickly on weekends, and queues during the later morning, go early for no queues and full range. Good coffee. Handy location next to the deli/green grocer and butcher. Parking is best from Logan Rd.

Been coming here for 20 years and the quality is still the same! Best bakery in Brisbane by a country mile. Pies are extra special, both the filling and pastry. Can’t go there without something sweet too. Their food just looks and tastes amazing. Hidden away, small shop, very unassuming. Please bring back the lasagne pie! And service has always been great. Happy staff make happy customers.

Been here a couple times and the service / quality has always been high class. I’ve sampled each pie and sausage roll and can honestly say nothing bad about them. They are all constantly good. When you cast your eyes towards to the sweeter section however things become different. Plenty of the options are fantastic but I would stay away from the Portuguese egg tarts (they aren’t unpleasant but if you’re hoping for a traditional egg tart you’ll be pretty disappointed)

FAVOURITE BAKERY Most Sunday mornings are family Sunday. I love to come here to select donuts, pastries, savory bread rolls or sausage rolls/pies to include in my breakfast platters. SERVICE I find the staff always friendly, even when it's insanely busy. COFFEE Good coffee, just wish they served it hotter. PIES Butter & Vindaloo Beef are family favourites. PASTRIES Mini Danish $2.40 or their large Apple Danish $4.80 are the kids favourite. DONUTS The kids like the small jam donuts for $1.80 each. SOURDOUGH BREAD Amazing varieties OVERALL Great food and service will not disappoint. But be prepared to line up and wait on the weekends from 7:30am onwards.

Great Sourdough and a huge selection of sweet baked treats from doughnuts to full cakes. Very nice selection of pies. Tends to get very busy on weekends so it's advised to come early if you want the full selection this bakery offers.

Everything about this bakery is incredible. The dark rye sour dough is a regular in our household, all the pies are incredible and not oily (I can say this with some authority as I have tried nearly all of them), the pastries and desserts are also amazing. I bought a cake from here for a colleagues birthday and it went down very well amongst the team. They also do great coffee on merlo beans.

Best local bakery serving freshly baked artisinal breads and sweets. The almond and the fruit danishes are my fave. The whole tarts are also epic! My favourites are the pear frangipane and the cherry pie. The savoury pies are fresh and delicious and we buy from the great selection bread to make sandwiches, toasties or as an accompaniment to soup at home.

I've had only the best experiences at the Stone Artisan Bakery. For several years, whenever I was too busy, I'd order pastries, birthday cakes & sandwiches for 2 dozen people at work, for home parties, morning teas & sometimes just for my children's lunch boxes. I always ring, they know exactly what I want & their prices are competitive compared with many other bakers. The cottage loaf, carraway seeded rye & olive breads are beautifully flavored, warm & fresh. Red velvet cupcakes; lemon slices & cheesecake slices are just the ticket for a fancy 5 star dessert at home. The French style pastries, pain au chocolate, almond croissants are perfect, & my favorite, Danish pastries, are huuge & over- flowing with fruit but you need to order, because they sell out quickly. The coffee is fantastic -as you'd expect! And hot foods like pies & sausage rolls are a decent size, no-body trying to halve things for the sake of an extra 20 cents. Staff are friendly, helping plan event cakes so nothing is any trouble. They always take things to my car, they're efficient, always smiling even when they're surrounded by 30 customers & it's 38 degrees. In decades, I've never had a disappointing transaction. If I forget bags, they've a box, if I forget my PIN, no-one's frustrated, if I ramble on & forget which cake, I want, they have a patient smile & converse happily -whilst doing 10 other things!

Bakery items and bread is the best in Brisbane, outstanding . Especially the mince tarts at Christmas time. Unfortunately the coffee is the worst in Brisbane. Tried it again today and it was not drinkable. I have tried well over a dozen times this year and there is no improvement.

Probably the best bread in Brisbane. So many delicious sourdough options here. They're the real deal. (At a more reasonable $5-6/loaf, not overpriced $7-8+ like 'trendy'/'hipster' bakery-cafes elsewhere, or other places with only generic sugary fluffy white bread). Very happy to have found this gem! The almond croissants are ridiculously good too. (Haven't tried anything else there, yet. All of the pastries look amazing. Pies look tasty and quality but a bit expensive: $6ish from memory). Plus friendly staff, despite being always a little busy!

I frequently phone in an order on Saturday or Sunday and the bakers are very helpful and don't mind -even though they're extremely busy. Honestly, as someone who loves to bake and was brought up to, their cakes, pies and rolls remind me of grandma's cooking -except modernised and with new flavours: white chocolate slices, long cream donuts and almond croissants are fantastic for a weekend treat.

Ordered 6 croissants. A discount on 6 would be nice, $3.40 for one croissant is criminal, especially since they sell for less than a dollar in Canada. That said, they were delicious and there were many other breads available that looked just as good, if not better.

During the week not as much variety in product; improves at the weekend. Have been disappointed though when I've pointed to a cake/pie on display and staff go out the back to retrieve an inferior looking item to sell to me. This has happened twice; the pie they sold me was burnt. It's not good enough that the best is advertised/displayed and customers are then sold something that isn't the same as what they see on display. Kind of deceptive IMO.

Small bakery within a complex containing a health food grocer and a great butcher. Pies are very popular and as such certain ones sell quickly and go out of stock. The lamb and rosemary pies have a great ratio of meat to flavour to a crispy pastry.

Food seems to be very a hit or miss thing. I would of had a better experience if they had seating, I've never been to a bakery that didn't have seating available. I didn't enjoy having to sit outside on the curb to eat what I've brought, kinda embarrassing to have people walk past you and look down at you because there's nowhere for you to sit and enjoy your food. Fine for me since I'm young but I feel older people. I had to carry my rubbish to a bin at a bus stop because you had one bin that was overflowing, very disappointed considering this is believed to one of the best bakeries.
