Stopped here for a quick lunch, bought a plain pie and a custard tart. The pie wasn't particularly memorable, but the custard tart was the best I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of them. The pastry was light and held the weight of the custard but still crumbled during a bite providing perfect texture balance. The custard was rich and creamy and not overly sweet, and dense enough to hold its weight even higher than the pastry. Seriously impressed.

Just a little bit of context - I consider myself a Vanilla Slice connoisseur. Having eaten Vanilla Slices from a multitude of states, I believe I have the required experience to judge a good one. Coming here, to the Sweet and Flour Bakery, I wasn't let down from what I was expecting. A beautiful texture in the custard, magnificent pastry and a fantastic tasting icing. Very good areas from the chef, hats off to them. TL:DR - prime time for Vanilla Slice

Great range, excellent prices and good coffee. Love popping in here on a weekend, the fruit tarts never disappoint. I would mention however, that it's not ideal to angrily chastise your young staff in front of the customers - Any loyalty they may have had has just been replaced by shame and resentment and makes you look like a git. But that aside keep up the excellent work.

Trust me when I say great ladies serving you, and even better scones, jam n cream with a delicious cappuccino. All cakes etc etc baked and made onsite. I love a feed good feed, trust me and highly recommend this place 10/10.

Loveeee! this bakery so much. The Pies are yummy and the desserts are amazing. Staff are also super friendly. Whenever we're back in the vicinity we have a drive here to specifically to have lunch. As well as ordering a something for lunch we normally buy a cake to take home. The apple Custard tarts and strawberry Custard tarts are favourites. We had gone back to Sweet and Flour in Nambour but it had been closed. I'm happy this place is still open and will be returning at least once a week until we hit the road again 😋 Unfortunately no photos to add at the moment as we eat them to quickly. Next time 😃

Wow what a great place, it was my first time here but I will be coming back. Very friendly staff, great prices. The coffee was really good and the Massaman Curry pie 🥧 was the best pie I have ever had. Amazing, highly recommend a visit. Beautiful town in an amazing area.

Literally the reason we come to Mapleton. Delicious fresh pastries and good coffee. Very nice staff and has a covered outdoor area. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

We attended your bakery on 6 March 2021, we had just come from a terrible high tea at Flaxton Gardens and found your establishment to be a delicious blessing. Your tarts were devine, your food was everything we had hoped to experience at the supposed high tea we had just left. We experienced friendly staff, and good service. You should expand out to do high tea picnic hampers, you would do very well with the quality of your food. We will certainly be back when in the area, thank you.

A very popular Bakery with a small wait due to the covid -19 restrictions,but well worth it. A fantastic display of items, both hot and cold with nice seating outside of the shop. Very popular with motorcycle groups stopping in as well.
