An alternative to the Asian cuisine across the road at the markets. Eggs as well as toasties, pies, sausage rolls and plenty of bakery treats. There is also ice cream in a cone available to satisfy the kids or kids in us all. Good service, ok coffee and plenty of cold drinks.

This is a great spot to stop for an early morning coffee - open from 4am! 😨 Also great value with double espressos available for just $3.60. If you're in the mood for a naughty sweet treat they're pretty tasty. Bakery also has healthy options such as smashed avo and poached eggs for a reasonable price.

Cake order, beautiful cake and great customer service! I called Parap bakery to enquire about options for their made to order cakes - I went with option 1 (on their website) and Michelle on the phone was so helpful - I was able to request that the icing/cream was coloured blue - no extra cost! The cake was delivered to gateway shop - young Amber there was very helpful.. THE CAKE was magnificent and above and beyond what I expected & was so tasty.. Made a beautiful centre piece for the baby shower and everyone loved it! Will definitely use this service again (: Thank you

Recently i popped in for their morning bacon n egg roll and coffee special not getting my hopes up. The latte with an extra shot was near faultless and bacon n egg was best i have had in Darwin if not the last decade. 9.9 out of 10 😉

Great coffee, always friendly. Breads and pastries are sensational. Decent cafe menu, though not a fan of the paper placemat between the food and the board. Massive advantage is the opening hour - 4am, so it's always open in time for the morning coffee pickup. Shame I'm only here for a couple more weeks, really...

The coffee and food are very good, and the staff are very friendly. Don't expect Melbourne or Sydney speed if you're waiting for coffee, as it can be very slow, but the coffee is well brewed and prepared and worth the wait. The bakery has a range of dairy substitutes for your coffee as well. There is a great range of fresh bread, pastries, doughnuts and other goodies, and their lunch rolls are very good. Plenty of seating inside, and easy parking right out the front of the bakery. The bakery is nestled close in to other speciality shops, restaurants and cafes, so it's very convenient to everything in Parap.

Great bakery! The only problem is they need more counter staff as sometimes just want a loaf of bread and you have to wait for everyone ordering coffee. Otherwise would give 5 stars.

Ordered some buns for a BBQ and left it up to the bakery to help with my selection and everyone had raving reviews about how amazing they were so thank you very much for picking this option for me with fresh brioche rolls topped with mixed seeds because when i opened the box it filled my kitchen with the most incredible smell and they were much enjoyed by our guests.

Great food but service from male staff member stopped me from giving 5 stars. I would rather see a smile than a grumpy face and a hello rather than a yep and when being servered. When handing back change say thanks or enjoy your day. Don't say nothing!
