Can't say enough good things. Brilliant bagels and kind, attentive staff in a thoughtfully and carefully constructed space suited for both dining in and taking away. Billy's Batch Brew is the bomb for your morning coffee, and you can't go wrong with any of the bagels or brekky options! Best donut holes in Australia too, by my reckoning!

The bagels are delicious, and I love them so much I eat them too often for the likes of my wallet and waistline BUT can only give this place a 4/5 because I consistently wait ages… is there a secret I’m not aware of? Why does it take 20 mins even when it’s not busy??

Pretty little bagel shop with original flavors and nice atmosphere. We took 2 bagels to take away, they were both delicious. With a lot of vegetables and the cashew schmear was very tasty (it was the first time I tried it). The prices are also very reasonable, $24 for 2 bagels and you get some small bretzels with them. And you can choose your bagel amongst beetroot, cheddar, multigrain... We waited a bit because it was very busy, lot of locals were passing by just to pick up a quick coffee. But it was worthy to be patient.

Cute little place.Delicious and worth the wait. Very popular with locals, all the tables were full so we got takeaway. So many vegan options. The bagels were so tasty and obsessed with the donuts! We got the Minnesota toasted bagel, made vegan with the everything bagel. Also couldn't resist the donuts 3 for $6.50. Coffee was great too.

I've lost count the number of times I've eaten breakfast here! A vegan friendly cafe that offers a number of bagels with vegan (and non-vegan) spreads including tofu or cashew based cream cheeses as well "butter". Great value for the price and the space offers a takeaway counter or a small dine-in space. Highly recommend!

Vegan cream cheese on a bagel, and I'm there!! Tried them at the Salamanca markets for a sweet lemon curd /cinnamon sugar and cream cheese bagel, and also at their cafe for the savoury everything bagel with the lot. So good!! The service is lovely. Wish I managed to grab a brioche jam and coconut cream bun while I was here, but alas, maybe next time I'm in Hobart!

Bury me standing replaced the bagel free of charge even though it was not their mistake. Amazing service from a Cafe which is completely fanatic on a Sunday to take the time for us and our self made debacle. Will definitely be back.

Very friendly staff, and they have a superb selection of re-usable stuff for sale alongside their keep-cups. There's a lot of competition for damn fine coffee in Hobart and Bury Me Standing is close to the top of my list.

Best bagel shop in Hobart that offers nice vegan cream cheese. We did not see the full menu from the take away side and wished to try a sandwich after the fact, but still had a nice breakfast. Remember to enter from the left side if you want to see the full selection (the layout is a little confusing) and the cool display. Either way it's worth the trip.

Haven't had a bagel in years, wouldn't even think to order one and then we went in here and were astounded. Completely reframed a tired breakfast food. So so good, I always found bagels too dense and chewy but these were soft and warm with generous cream cheese slatherings that were to die for.
