Comments of A1 Bakery
K. R.
We just ordered a latte here and really enjoyed the latte as well as the ambience. People who worked here were very friendly and the vibe was lively. They also have a mini supermarket stocked with certain products for customers to buy. I definitely wanna try their desserts soon. Good place to go for a cup of coffee and chat with friends.
A. K.
A1 Bakery’s venue was old and run down, however they served the most amazing middle eastern pastries and pizzas. All the dishes I’d tried were so tasty; meaty, cheesy and packed with fragrant middle eastern spices. Highly recommended if you felt like good value middle eastern cuisine.
T.
Awesome food. Most things are in house made. The breads absolutely delicious, there a reason why this place is always busy with people grabbing quick bites for breakfast or lunch.
L. J.
It was absolutely delicious! Served quickly and customer service was also nice. I will definitely come back!

A1 is a cult classic and one of the first cafes I dropped into when venturing in Brunswick.
Always bustling and rightfully so - there is a feast of delish middle eastern delights to be had 🥙
The cheese pie CANNOT be passed up under any circumstances 🙅♀️ it is too good.
Zaatar is nice and fresh too.
Falafel wrap with the pickles plate as extra is a winner.
Nice chips.
The meat options are exceptionally well done (cooking wise) which isn't my all-time favourite but never go wrong with the array of other options.
Lovely family owned establishment with staff that really care.
They are devoted to freshness and will even hand out remaining pitas from the day for free. That's a commitment to freshness! 🌱
Nice work guys, see you again soon!
Edit - got the cheese pie and hummus w/ lamb platter + pickle platter delivered. Yum! Fresh and full of life!
J. S.
I come here for my monthly Middle Eastern grocery shopping, as they always stock up with essential things for my kitchen.
In my recent visit, I wanted to try out their Zaatar "Pizza," which is traditionally called Mana'eesh/Manoushe. I opted for the one stuffed with vegetables as well.
It was served fresh from the oven, nice and hot. The bread was a bit thick but so yummy!
Excellent place for their grocery store and their freshly made food.
K. P.
One of my favorite, kid-friendly breakfast and lunch spots in Melbourne. Delicious middle eastern menu. Perfect felafel, freshly baked spinach and cheese triangles, eggs how you like them, pickles, and manoush (Lebanese pizza). It’s calm on weekday mornings, buzzing on the weekends.
D. N.
A perfect spot for a decent feed.
Food: delicious and authentic. The food is flavoursome and fresh, very well made.
Portions are also decent, and very reasonably priced.
There is a reason why this place is so busy, and been around for a long time now
Venue: is spacious and covid friendly. Also is a mini grocer for all your Lebanese needs.
Staff are also super friendly and attentive.
Highly recommend.
K. M.
Food is always amazing and staff always friendly. This place is a regular for us.
A. P.
Lovely Lebanese restaurant. Always busy so be ready for a wait but the food is well worth it. Good coffee at an affordable price too. Very nice to see. Staff are lovely too, very pleasant and warm. A+ from me.

Extremely popular Lebanese bakery on Sydney Road. The food is unbelievably affordable for the taste and quality that you get.
We tried:
💙 Zaatar (only $1.5 each)
❤️ Falafel Platter ($8.5)
This is our first time I think having a freshly baked zaatar, omg it was so awesome!! The bread is on the right thickness, light, fluffy but still crispy on the outer side. The sumac is very prominent and love the crispiness from the sesame seeds. Brilliant creation by this bakery that has been opened since 1992! No wonder Anthony Bourdain once visited this bakery in 2009 to film No Reservations in Melbourne, Australia, and guess what? He ate the same item, Zaatar 😃
The falafel platter was also delightful! We can see that they are homemade and freshly deep fried. We’ll definitely come back to get the falafel again and also try the other platters on the menu.
Must visit!
A. J.
Reminds me of those old family run bakeries in business for many generations. I come here for the taste of freshly baked bread without spending too much. I love the plain old simple bread seasoned with zaatar spice mix. To be consumed while hot and fresh!
A. K.
A busy Lebanese bakery serving a range of vegetarian and meat dishes. The staff are efficient and quick to notice a customer who is not sure where to head next. Order at the counter to eat in at the numerous tables, or on the footpath, or to take away. Try the spinach and cheese triangles with a little lemon juice. Excellent coffee.
W. C.
Ordered it for take away, food was absolutely delicious, couldn't fault any of the food.Best Lebanese bakery indeed, very decent pricing.
M. F.
Always a treat to spend time indulging in this lebanese pastry place. If in need of a bite to eat, indulge yourself truly in this magnificent joint located Brunswick. The locals keep it a secret, but why? sharing is caring. Fresh and delicious stocked groceries as well as one of the best places to get a full bodied coffee. Pound for pound. A winner in my books.
A. M.
Some of the best Lebanese food you can buy without breaking the bank. Just a cheese pie or a sujuk is enough for a lunch feed to fill you up for the entire day. Also their take home bread is really good as well. Usually great to make wraps and other things as well at home.
P. P.
My most favorite cheap and fresh eatery. So blessed to have found this gem in Brunswick. Fresh breads that warm your heart! Cheese pie and Zaatar bread are my favorite with the Rana chilli sauce. Been here heaps of times and super friendly staff! Coffee is good too x
N. T.
This place is not only cheap but fantastic value. Zataar pizza and the spinach and feta pizzas are standouts but anything here is great. Must visit!
N.
One of the best eateries in Melbourne. The manoush is so fresh - the standout is the zaatar or garlic chicken, it triples as a cafe/spice shop, indoor/outdoor seating, large selection of cold drinks, including pomegranate! Can be extremely busy but the service is all friendly
a. h.
Nice place for Lebanese bakery
The Spanish very nice .
The food overall is good
My kids love the fish 🎏 tank as well
V. J.
Was in the area so gave it a try .
They were quite busy during the lunch, but luckily found a table . We order garlic chicken pizza , zaatar and Kafta platter .
The pizza was ok and kafta platter was good.
Mix thoughts about the place.
Y. Y.
When I look for a breakfast place in Brunswick, I come here often.
The food price is very reasonable. Most importantly it is very tasty food here. Zaatar is only $1.50 but taste soooo good. And have other dips and Middle Eastern food here as well. I want to try more different dishes that haven’t tried yet.
T.
This place was recommended by my Arabic language teacher. She was right, the Ful Medames was so tasty. Everyone raves about the cheese pies so I will definitely try that next time. A great casual venue with excellent middle eastern goods. A1 is A plus plus!
J. H.
Phenomenal. It's famous for very good reason. It's cheap, and the quality of pastry is exceptionally high. Each item was packed with delicate flavours. Great stuff.
B. C.
Love the place fantastic food real vegan friendly! Great service!! Just your wooden tables some have gaps in them that trap sesame seeds and other stuff which is a little unsightly:( clean them out and fill the gaps very easy process and it will making cleaning your tables easier ! Just my 2 cents :)
M.
I can't believe I've never heard of A1 Bakery until now ! A hidden gem in Brunswick, serving out authentic, and yet, extremely affordable Lebanese foods. Everything I had here was absolutely delicious, including their fluffy pita breads!
Grabbed bunch of different dishes: Zaatar, Veggies Zatar, Half and Half Platter, Cheese Pies and more! Gatta say best falafels I've ever had in my life! Crispy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside. They were so aromatic, flavourful and delicious.
Highly recommend this cafe if you ever find yourself wondering around in Brunswick!

The staff are extremely happy to help you and the food and coffee are freshly made and taste excellent.
They have a grocery line that is quiet extensive as well.
The service is fast and efficient and really one can't go past the yummy takeaway line available.
Their flat bread is second to none.
J. S.
One of my happiest discoveries on my short Melbourne trip is the large number of Lebanese and Middle Eastern restaurants in Brunswick. Of these, A1 Bakery takes the cake. It was recommended to us by a friend, and after tasting their ‘A1 Special’ for $10, I can see why. The food was fresh, cheap, authentic, and delicious. If someone told me I had to eat exclusively this pizza for the rest of my life, I wouldn’t even be mad.
B. P.
Great place to enjoy some Middle Eastern food! Falafel platter, cheese and spinach triangles are a must try. Love their little grocery section as well.
D. T.
Very good middle eastern style baked goods here. We had the Sujuk / Sausage Pizza and the A1 Special pizza. It's very flavourful and not greasy like Western-style pizzas.
A. A.
One of the best places I have ever been to for breakfast. The food was so fresh, authentic, and was utterly delicious. Wide selection of items on the menu, and all items were reasonably priced. The staff were very energetic, cheerful, and friendly. Highly recommended, and a must-visit place in Melbourne. You won’t be disappointed.
W. H.
Good quality, tasty authentic Middle Eastern food at fantastic prices. Very affordable comfortable environment. They also bake and sell Lebanese bread.
R. G.
One of the best Falafel I've ever had. Crisp crust and light spongy from inside... absolutely awesome. The Meat Pizza is flavourful and well baked. The vibe and energy of this place is addictive. A must visit place for a Lebanese food lover.
S. L.
Always good! The chicken wrap is my delicious go-to, and everything else is pretty good too. Fast service - an institution.
M. O.
Quick and delicious. Busy but that is only because it’s good. Sit in and enjoy some of the great platters. Cheese pie is the best around. Coffee is good too.
P. K.
Ordered two wraps. The kofta and the chicken. Both were delicious. The serving staff are really nice also. I'll try to add some photos when I go back next week.
We'll done team at A1.
S.
I’ve been so many times to this place just in the last month that I’ve lost count, and every time it’s always busy — for good reason. Their cheese pies and cheese bagels are top-notch, and their platters are amazing! Tried their latte which was also quite good. Don’t expect much from customer service but honestly you wouldn’t care if the food is that good!
Q. M.
I'm so lucky to live down the street from this local gem. There are lots of Lebanese bakeries around but A1 is one of the best thanks to its large space and varied, inexpensive, vegan-friendly menu. I usually go for the falafel platter full of pickles and tahini. But a haloumi pizza or pide and a coffee is always a great option as well.
R. M.
You know one of those places that you just know is going to be perfect before you go, and this is one of them! A true Melbourne institution, with great food and service. Absolutely beyond comprehension. I had the Foul Mudammas and the Kibbie and Zaatar with Vegies and they were amazing, fresh taste, very filling, lots of bread, and to top it off some great coffee, a sweet pudding (Not the rice pudding another delicious one cant remember name) and lovely tasting baklava. I am a real foodie and a very hard marker, this is one of the best meals I have ever had and I have to give this place 10/10 - I wish I lived closer!!!
M. A.
Tasty food, specially pies... Would recommend their spinach and cheese pie and meat pie! Very friendly staff!
A. T.
Food is delicious, coffee is great and the efforts their staff go to to make sure every experience is positive is really fantastic. This is where you go for lunch on Sydney Rd.
M. T.
Simple, unpretentious, authentic, great food and coffee.
I’ve been coming for yours and the standard is always consistent.
R. A.
Love the place, so cozy, friendly staff and most importantly the food is great.. falalfel, foul and hummus is a must on your table 😍 keep up the great work.. will definitely go back !
F.
Delicious Lebanese breakfast
S. P.
Yummy affordable and just consistent. Kind of
Like McDonald’s in the sense you know what you’re getting and it’s of the same quality every time. Would be dangerous if I lived closer to a1.
B. A.
Just found this place when I was searching for the coffee..
It's was a big space and was seems busy too..
I didn't get anything more than a coffee but I plan to return there to try their food..
Staff were friendly and the space was clean..
Service was okay and the price is also reasonable..
Place is easy accessible...
I will going back again..
Hopefully will have good experience..
M. S.
Flew in from Sydney & absolutely LOVED it! The staff were welcoming & if you didnt understand what they are serving they would take the time to explain it.
It felt like home & the food was absolutely delicious! It took me right back home to Lebanon!
A. M.
I had a warmed Spinach Triangle which was delicious, light and a bit tangy, and a flat white (extra hot) as I ordered, and a packet of Lebanese flat bread, all for only $7.70. 😊
The girl who served me and was cleaning up was really helpful and friendly.
It's got a good spacious area for eating.
I can see this place is popular even for customers who aren't Arabic, bcos the food is very easy to eat, cheap and nutritious.
M. A.
Was walking by and thought I'd pop in.at first it looks like an aged bakery store.General rule of thumb is if the place is packed the food must be fresh. Thank God I walked In.my debit card from Canada wasn't working and it started working here .great meal as well
J. D.
Got it delivered via uber eats. Fresh, straight out of the oven deliciousness. We got the cheese pie, spinach pie and chicken pizza. The pizza was amazing and a solid 5 stars. Great weekend brekkie!

Vegan in Brunswick
Absolute institution and great value.
If you’re in Brunswick and not been here, then you’re missing out.
Great menu which caters for both omnivores and herbivores, I rotate the falafel pizza, za’atar with veggies and falafel wrap.
They also do kaftas, shanklish and other delicious Lebanese food. The vegan baklava (chef’s kiss)
Lebanese groceries available as well, peep the garlic dip for sure.
Get down there asap, see you there.
A. C.
Incredible food! Heard a lot about this famous Lebanese bakery and was blown away when I finally got around to eating here. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is iconic Brunswick. The food is authentic, fresh and super tasty - and great value for money. Probably the best hommus I've ever tasted. This place is a must try!
M. A.
Wow! If I lived next door I'd be the size of a house. Everything we had was amazingly fresh, light and delicious.
R. N. I. I. B.
Had my best falafel in Melbourne! We tried half & half falafel & chicken tawouk platter. Also their coffee is good!
A. C. R. (.
I came today for the very first time and I am already looking forward to coming back soon.
I had the "A1 Special" with sausage and it was absolutely delicious. It tasted fresh (even the bread!) and it was not greasy at all. That is a huge plus for me. For only $10, the "A1 Special" was definitely worth it. Coffee was good too :)
G. G.
My favourite place for food in Brunswick, lovely people, coffee & food!
S.
Get some Cheese pie from here the best one💯‼️ also chicken pizza is great too!!! Inexpensive and great location! The best Lebanese restaurant!
S. H.

D. D.
Arguably one of the best places to eat around Brunswick… For a good reason!!!!!! The food is reasonably priced and filling.
S. M.
As usual the coffees great and breakfast super. The interior needs more love IMO. But a good place to hangout with friends. Took our friend straight from the airport for breakfast and was not disappointed !
J. F.
Has to be one of my favourite spots in Melbourne let alone Brunswick. Price for the quality of food won’t be beaten anywhere either. Great selection of Lebanese foods. Also has a small store inside selling more goods. The wraps are incredible. Can get a little busy but a lot of staff work there to keep up and it’s busy for a reason. Just an amazing place that should definitely be tried!
S. J.
Great food, great service as always
A. A.
Fabulous place to enjoy Middle Eastern food.
Z. S.

Delicious bread and pizzas. Really great prices. Had the meat pizza and the falafel platter. Amazing. I can now say that I love falafels. I've never had a good one before until today!
L. C.
I always enjoy coming here for a casual lunch. The falafel balls are amazing, and the quality is consistent, at a reasonable price. FYI there are 2 extra falafel balls on the platter in the pic.
B. B.
Literally obsessed with their garlic dip! So so delicious 🤤 😋
M. B.
A local institution for good Zaatar and meat pizza and other Lebanese bakery items. Coffee a bit stock standard. The location is usually pretty flat out and busy.
👍 - Good Zaatar and other bakery items - Except don't come in the late afternoon as bread is not as fresh.
👍 - Good price
👍 - Location is ideal
👎 - Don't come here for the coffee
👎 - Service? what service
b.
A Saturday morning with A1 speccial and coffee at Sydney Road. This is definition of a good start of a weekend in Melbourne. Love the hustle and bustle of this place. I love the atmosphere. Food never disappoints.
First time I visited was in 2012 and now its 2021 and I still love this simple, honest and good food. I believe this place is owned and run by a family as people that I have seen along the years are same.
r. m.
Wonderful place to have a middle eastern breakfast or anytime, nice coffee and hot beautiful breads
S. A.
Great resturant 👍🏼 that provides delicious Lebanese food specially pies 😋 staff are wonderful 🤗 and prices are fair 💰 Nice atmosphere with Arabic music 🎶 Generally it was an amazing experience 👌🏼
N. U.
Top quality delicious pizzas, platters, wraps and pies are available at a very affordable price. Taste consistently maintained in all the items. One of the best in Melbourne.
D. C.
Food good.
Some servers need to improve their customer service skills.
U. J.
One of the best Lebanese bakeries I have ever been to in Melbourne. The price is very reasonable and each product I have tried was absolutely amazing.
A. R.
Your very own neighborhood Turkish restaurant, wish I live close by. If you’re looking to get good food at a reasonable price head out to A1. They’ll never fail to disappoint their customers with their heaps of serving and platters to share. Order A1 Special Pizza and don’t forget their Baclava!
p.
Amazing food with fair price. Each platter is between 8-13 AUD, reasonable price with good quality food!
D.
Stopped in here and tried the A1 special, my first time and I loved it . all the flavours, and the bread, the bread, the bread.... I can't wait to come back.
G. R.
Eating on a outside table was very pleasant with a great range of tasty dishes which are easy to share. Food is fresh and arrived promptly.Range of meat and vegetarian options but as the name bakery would suggest, most items are bread or pastry based. Coffee is drinkable.
O. W. K.
love it, come here every day - so good when you are hungover - which I am everyday - very happy to make me a 6 shot coffee - good job a1
B. T. P.
Delicious Middle Eastern flavours at very reasonable prices. My favourite dish was the kibbie platter, which was 3 Lebanese meatballs with hommus, tabouli and pita bread. The garlic and chicken pizza was also delicious, and surprisingly I quite enjoyed the coffee (they use a La Marzocco coffee machine). Will be back
H. S.
Probably best bakery I found here in Melbourne. It’s very popular as was crowded. Chicken pizza with lots of cheese. Tasty. Area
M. A. (. A. M.
It is good experience and has a good varieties. But the value is small according to price and the staff needs more experience and training
S. P.
This place is the best, so many choices, ayran, haloumi, yummy hummus and the coffee is really good too! There is an area to eat and a little shop area where you can buy a lot of goodies. Go here! You will not regret it.
N. Z.
One thing is that, it is budget bakery I will say. I had these two things for 5au$. I wouldn't it was the best I did like it. They were fine. I like the bread 🍞 though. Apart from that, the staff member suggested me that Tamarind drink. I drank and was not disappointed. The behaviour of the staff member was also 👍🏻 he was really friendly. So if you wanna try once ... go ahead.
r. s.
Delicious food. It is our place to go for falafel and pastry whenever we are in Melbourne.
C. S.
Favourite manakeesh and falafel place for Saturday brunch 🧆🌯
P. P.
Coffee is still good at a good price , with array of lebanese oriented dishes, freshly baked and prepared.

I would recommend this place to any one and I bet you won’t compare the humus to anything in Australia.
Thank you to the team at A1 for the great service
E. M.
The Baklava here is, Beyond comparison, Best in Melbourne. I have yet to find better. Not dubious (mixed nuts) they use specifically Pistachio and Almond, utterly delicious
B. H.
A1 has so much character and delicious, good value food. HOT TIP: grab a side of chips and get some salt and chilli on there for a good time!
N. H.

Great vibe in a extra busy environment
Sharp service for a good value meal
S. G.
Best pita in Melbourne, has lots of great reasonably priced food, the falafel is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, as it should be. There is something about the hummus that makes me keep going back for another bite.
R. D.
Tasty food in unpretentious surroundings! A place with some character too...
G. B.
Great middle eastern food. Love the Labneh pizza and the falafel. Excellent prices. Limited but great quality groceries. One of our favorites.

L. B.
Great customer service their food is amazing and fresh if I can add to their bakery like man2oush make it thinner and less flower and put more options like mahmra and more
D. P.

A. O.
Amazing place! Very reasonable priced and a huge sitting area...
B. A.
The best bread and savoury food around at the best price. A must go to place.
S. M.
Great flavours, fresh, friendly and fast service with prices from 20yrs ago. Definitely a must try place.
S. H.
Delicious food! Everything I have ordered here (I mostly get delivery) has been amazing. I have a real weakness for the chicken tawouk wrap; tastes amazing, and great balance of fillings.
Also love their zaatar pizza with fresh veggies, the garlic chicken pizza (so tasty!!), the chickpea salad (though it doesn’t seem to have been available for delivery for a while, so I’ve missed it... but it’s very fresh, healthy, and tasty), and their tabouli salad.
As another reviewer said, their pita bread is amazing; perfect texture.
M. D.
Nice fresh food. Nice portion size. The service was quick. Definitely recommend it if you're after some lebanese food.
Y. Y.
The prices: Affordable.
The food: One your palate will always miss.
The service: 5 stars are not even enough.
My suggestions:
Garlic Chicken Pizza, Special Pizza, Chicken Tawouk Wrap, their coffees.
This place will stay on top of mind, as one of a-to-go-to place when you are craving for a Middle-Eastern cuisine.
There is usually a long queue but their service is so effiecient that you rarely have to wait.
a. c.
Loved this bakery. The atmosphere was vibrant. This place was family friendly and has authentic quality Lebanese food and is reasonably priced. They also sell lots of cooking ingredients as well as imported foods. Great spot and highly recommended.
B. C.
100% fresh bakery stuff and very economical

Great traditional family friendly Lebanese bakery, quality is always consistent and staff are friendly despite being so busy. There are many traditional items and groceries to purchase and tasty Lebanese pizzas and sweets. Definitely my go to place for breakfast or lunch when I am in the area. Prices are cheap and definitely value for money.
C. B.
My go to place to find the authentic chicken shawarma. Don’t forget to ask for “extra garlic sauce” or it would be a bit too dry.
R. N.
Good Prices and always delicious food.
A. W.
I buy the Iraqi bread at the pasta shop at the South Melbourne Market and it is the most delicious flat bread I've ever eaten. It's soft, but a little bit chewy but still light and a little bit charred. It's perfect! 👌🏻
J. E.
SOLID STAFF SOLID FOOD. ANOTHER LEVEL OF SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY
Z. K.
Delicious Lebanese breakfast. Very authentic
A. Y. J.
Great place to go in Brunswick. Expect the long line there specially during weekends
A. K.
A local institution, great quality and good service.
S. D.
Hi there just checking to see God bless you received Jesus Christ is born
S. A.
This place is an institution and after 4 months of lockdown, it was really good to enjoy a cheese pie again.
You get what you get with this place and it is a melting pot in the truest sense, with customers from all walks of life enjoying the food.
A. A.
One of the best places u can eat in. One of my favorite middle eastern restaurant, I have been coming to this restaurant for a while. Even when it’s full of costumers you will be served quickly, and the food is just as fresh as it can gets. Prices are also reasonable, and the quantity of the food is satisfying. Staff are super friendly.
D. H.
An absolutely classic gem. Super cheap middle eastern baked goods and coffee with a great atmosphere. The food is nothing incredibly fancy but it's very good. Coffee is good, it's an older style, so don't go expecting a single origin with apricot notes. Overall it is highly recommended.
a. k.
Got to love a place who sell pizza bases only, they bake it fresh to order. Their dips are really good as well and they have small supermarket attached to the place.
C. M.
The manakish has great flavours but the pastry flour is the soft, low-protein wheat flour that is designed for cakes. I've been eating their food since 2001 and love the pastry fillings. It's only the pastry bases that are second-rate. If they can perfect the pastry with a stronger flour, they will have nailed it. Their product offering is indistinguishable from Watany Manoushi at Palmdale. But they aren't as good as Zaatar Bakery at Woodridge.
t.
This is an affordable consistent restaurant. It’s one of the very few eateries in Brunswick that I recommend to friends because it’s authentic and well priced!
Come here for a casual lunch where the food is fresh and light. I particularly like the wraps. There maybe a queue during lunch but it disappears in a zap. People from afar come here because of the bread. It is so tasty!
M. R. N.
Extremely fresh and delicious for a great value
K.
The cheese pies will have you dreaming about them forever, best place in melbs for a little snack, 10/10
F. P.
This is an institution. Fast well priced middle eastern food that's fresh and delicious. Can be chaos on the weekends as it's super popular but it is so for a reason..Food cones out quickly, staff is friendly and there's a few rows of groceries to take home stuff but I honestly have no idea what the stuff is. Highly recommended..
H.
Honestly such a great place! Staff is friendly, and food is amazing! I would definitely recommend.
S. S.
Nice restaurant and good food and good service
S. D.
Someone recommended I try the cheese pie among other things and after the first bite, oh wow! @A1Bakery in name and in taste. What a light soft absolutely delicious bread encasing the most gorgeous halloumi cheese filling! Made to order, hot out of the oven, this is amazing! I can see why this place is packed with takeaway and patrons dining in.

We had Fatteh, and Lamb on Hummus. The best dishes I have had in Melbourne this year. Unassuming venue that just delivers on taste. I don't know if we just were there when the best chef was on....but the flavours, texture and balance of these dishes was sublime.
V. K.
Great Lebanese bakery / cafe, with plenty of middle eastern food items to choose from. Perfect for a weekend breakfast / brunch. Items made / baked fresh onsite. Very affordable as price is comparatively cheap for such nice food.
B. M.
Great place to sit down & have a good meal with family & friend's. Who ever said the finer things in life cost the earth obviously haven't been to A1 Bakery. For a few dollars your belly is full & your back pocket isn't much lighter. Keep up the great work guy's.
B. C.
Great food great prices! One of the best places to eat on Sydney road. -However expect a small wait on weekends, because this place is popular!!! There is of course a trade off between price and atmosphere. But I've never gone to a restaurant their wallpaper anyway. Five stars from me!
R.
My Cheese & Spinach was amazing. My Shanklish was dry, lacking vegetables ingredients and the more & more I bit into it the more mad I got. Really disappointed.
O. M.
Great feed, very simple food, but well priced, friendly people!
We just had lunch at this place. The vegetarian pizza was amazing (I'm a staunch carnivore too).
The food was all pretty simple, and the presentation very basic. But it's a good honest meal that was great value.
Coffee was good, and the staff were happy and helpful.
I can't believe how busy this place was - seems like the 'go-to' place for lunch here.
Z. H.
Was really good food at a great value. Really roomy and a good atmosphere. Only noteworthy issue was the wait-staff brought over a handful of food items we hadn't ordered by mistake a couple of times. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.
A. E.
Excellent and delicious Lebanese pies .. I like A1 for the quick service and great range of pies and other options .. great for all meals and ages
A.
Ordered the Chicken wrap. Wholesome, no added chemicals. Left feeling comfortable, not bloated when eating takeaway. Maybe grill the chicken until there are some burnt crispy bits. Add a bit more garlic sauce and chips too.
P. K.
Always a great place for coffee and a tasty, fresh and cheap middle eastern snack. Try the haloumi pie or the mince meat pizza
r. d.
Great food , great service
T. A. R.
Drove past and randomly stopped by for a brunch. Excellent meat platter and humus.
J. N.
The food is always fresh and extremely delicious. I can highly recommend the falafel and the fatteh. Customer service is always excellent. This is now my favorite eatery in Melbourne
J. T.
Great snacks here and if you like coffee then this is your place. There is always a good crowd and a great vibe. You can buy Turkish snacks and dips to bring home. Very nice staff and really friendly. Great place to go to chill.
S. C.
The best combination of taste, quality of food, and quantity. Plus the place has a great vibe to it.
Highly recommend!
J. M.
A fantastic local establishment which has been running at high quality for years. They have a small grocery section which provides many exotic and interesting products. However, the best part is the cafe/restaurant, which provides delicious Lebanese food. It’s a casual dining place, with waiter service, however it is also good for takeaways. An awesome, friendly, local establishment which I will be definitely be revisiting in the future!
M. F.
No wonder this place is always busy. Best Lebanese bakery I've tried in Melbourne.
Wish they offered a pomegranate lahme-b'ajeen, its the only thing missing from making A1 as good as some of the best Lebanese bakeries in beirut or the middle east.
a. b.
Yum!
Just yum!
Reasonably priced.
Has to wait a while for our takeaway food but was only because everyone else also knows how yum it is and it was packed!
H. A.
We were tourists and were recommended to come here by a local and this ace did not disappoint. Fantastic, authentic Lebanese food at fair prices, we'd love to come here again if we had the chance. The only tricky thing about this place is that it's quite far out of the city (about 20-25 minutes drive) and we only stopped by here as we were driving towards the Yarra countryside.
R. J.
Really great food. The chicken wrap is so well seasoned, very filling, the pickles are amazing and give it a great flavour. Very busy on a Saturday on Brunswick but well worth the wait.
S. F.
We go multiple times a week as we live in the area and our favourites are the zaatar manaeesh, spinach and cheese pie, meat pizza and chicken tawook wrap. The food is always so wholesome and amazing!
A. E.
Feel like something different...try A1 food. It’s Lebanese and deliciously different. Full of wholesome, tasty ingredients like yoghurt and halloumi with the softest pastries!! Quite divine.
P. M.
A1 Bakery's original shop- and it is an icon! Big store - Lebanese Meat pizzas, Haloumi pies. Shish' etc etc lots of Takeaway variations or as quick snacks with the locals at tables. Work your way thru the menu over multiple visits. Buy& Try the groceries. Great feel for "Frustrated Tourist" in Covid times lol! TRY IT!
A. K.
Food is great and cheap! Very fast service too. Sure, the people weren’t the friendliest but I guess you could look away for the cheap food. They was one staff that was lovely though!
D. F.
The chicken wrap was so delicious. We have them almost every weekend and still not sick of it. Highly recommend this place. Also their halawa is so decadant, haven't found anywhere else that do it like this except in Saudi Arabia.
J. K.
Best Lebanese breakfast in town, and a good range of raw ingredients for Lebanese dishes. My Khyat ancestors would have loved it.
W. A.
The coffee here is the best.
N. V.
The chicken wrap was so delicious. We have them almost every weekend and still not sick of it. Highly recommend this place. Also their halawa is so decadant, haven't found anywhere else that do it like this except in Saudi Arabia.
J. T.
This is a great place to have lunch, although it was busy my order had arrived within a couple of minutes after sitting at the table, which gave me enough time to eat and relax before going to work. That's great customer service. I have to mention that the cheese pie is amazingly good, I'm already thinking of going back tomorrow for another one.
L. K.
A really fantastic location, always busy and bustling. The staff are always kind, polite, and helpful, have never been served without a smile. The food is simple and authentic, most importantly though it tastes great. I must recommend their cheese and spinach pie, you won't regret it
Z. A.
One of the greatest cheap eats in the planet. Always get one of the cheese pies without fail.
If you're debating whether or not to go here, remember 'If it's good enough for Anthony Bourdain, it's good enough for everyone'
J. A.
Lovely fresh cooked food, always looking forward to having a meal here. My favorite is the chicken tawaok platter, comes with a chicken wrap, garlic dip, pickles and chips, all this just for $12, very affordable indeed. Staff are nice and friendly. Good atmosphere for a nice catch up with friends.
M. M.
Great cheap eat in Brunswick. Good quality Lebanese pastry freshly baked. Good to have in but there can be a bit of a wait on weekends because it's so popular.
Good for catering as well
A. M.
Amazing and fast service, amazing range on the menu, and hands down the best bakery around Brunswick, would give more than 5 stars if I could :))
d. t.
Loved this place. The food very simple and very delicious. Place is very loud and busy.... intimate conversation...impossible. Decor fabulous...Virgin Mary statue one side, Orthodox priest painting on the other side...even Ned Kelly paraphernalia, hooka pipes and everything in between. Young Brunswick hipsters, young couples, eldery couples, singles, groups, kids, Africans etc etc. Most eclectic place I've ever been to.
D. B.
Delicious, freshly baked breads and pies; super friendly and helpful staff. It's always busy here, but you don't have to wait long to get served and you can see them baking behind the counter so you know it's all made to order. The grocery section is also excellent, selling legumes and pulses, cheeses and fresh dips along with bags of Lebanese bread. Love it here!!
F.
Value for money. Food is delicious.
E.
The que around lunchtime says this place is popular and their food is a great snack or meal in itself. Good prices good flavours.
C. R.
Sooo good
V. G.
Where do I begin with this place. Do yourself a favour if you can make it there and just go! The most amazing authentic Lebanese experience in Melbourne, delicious food and at very budget friendly prices. Have a feast :)
I. C.
Lovely and fairly priced food. One of my favourite spots for a cheap meal.
Z. S.
Ridiculously good value for money. Delicious food. The vegetarian pizza with grated haloumi is a fave, as is the zataar classic. Coffee also delivers. They get really busy some days but service is still pretty quick.
S.
The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The ambience was ethnic and very clean. I recommend the meat pizza. Not being used to Lebanese food this place was a great introduction for me.
f. s.
First time visited the place with a friend, ordered cheese pie and zaatar. It felt like I had tasted a whole new food, eat it while its hot is important.
Definitely recommended.
N. M.
It's a nice place but this time I pick up a falafel sandwich .falafel was cold not fried fresh ..
N. R.
Simple beautiful Lebanese food & great coffee. Staff are always polite. Thank you!
L. C.
The place doesn't look like much but the food is AWESOME. You will notice it because it is often full. Plus market is right around so it makes for a comfy and affordable Sunday brunch venue.
T. J.
Impressed by the taste.
Fresh soft base covered in delicious topping and the Halloumi cheese makes it mouth watering.
Price $9 each.
Seems like the locals place to be.
I'll be back.
There's coffee and cakes too.
N. G.
One of the best labenese bakery in Australia due to their fresh breads. Must try their sujuk pizza and Zaatar.
S.
Delicious food. Fun atmosphere. Fast service. Friendly waiters.
A. M.
They have a nice falafel, crispy outside and soft inside with fresh bread always .
D. K.
Love the food of this place.
Y. J. S.
Waited quite long for a spinach and cheese triangle and a half & half platter, but the food was delicious~ the spinach and cheese triangle was absolutely amazing - but if you aren't a big fan of very strong cheese taste and smell maybe get something else. I love the zaatar oh my goodness the zaatar is amazing.
L. X.
Had some good falafel, sweet potato and cashew dip, and pita bread here. The falafel was a bit oily and the crunch was bordering on being too hard for my taste. But overall, good value for money and good food. 4/5.
M. D.
100% fresh, decent food. I travel 45 minutes every Saturday just to have lunch there.
T. A.
Really good food, but the ladies at the register need to improve their customer service skills!
M. W.
My all time FAVE! Great COVID-19 restrictions in place- feels very safe!
R. S.
Great food which always extremely fresh. The spinach and feta triangles are to die for! Service is quick and food comes to the table quickly too. Lovely strong delicious coffee too.
M. R.
I just had the cheese pie. I thought I'd eaten heaven. Already fantasising about another. Plus the people are so lovely! I found I only had mostly NZ coins in my wallet but they said it didn't matter and gave me a pie for almost nothing. So sweet.
T. S.
A1 bakery Brunswick has always been go too. Down Sydney road we have such a great selection, although that's the case I still choose A1 bakery as a go too. Years and years of great service, the staff are awesome and I don't want it to change. Thank you
R. K.
Traditional Lebanese bakery, family owned and operated. Food is exceptional. There was a mixup with my order, but my meal was exchanged for free within minutes. Can get very crowded and loud depending on time of day
J. W.
Busy Lebanese cafe and bakery with a cult following. Their cheese pies are to did for.
P. D.
this is not a fancy restaurant, it's a family run bakery.
the pies are delicious. the shanklish pita and cheese or spinach triangles are particularly good.
I recommend getting the falafel plate and two pastries to share if there's two of you.
M. C. H.
Really good price and good food. I ordered the Falafel Platter which is enough for 1 person or 2 if you don't want to eat much. Staff are really nice and efficient!!
U. A. a.
i love falavel
A. J.
Happy to had my kofta platter in this lovely bakery!
Their kofta was so similar to Persian kofta and I enjoyed it a lot!
L. L.
Awesome Coffee, very nice staff. Always packed. Highly recommended.
A. L.
We ordered WHOLE BAKED STUFFED SPRING LAMB from catering menu which is good.
M. S.
Lots of variety and lots of seating. The staff are very friendly. Went in with a friend to get dips, and settled for the eggplant and the olive dips along with bread and pickles. There is a small grocery section with packaged foods in the back of the restaurant.
A. K.
One of the best places to eat middle eastern (Arab) food! And they also have a little supermarket that has all things that you would want for your Arabic cuisine, molokheya, bamya, 2ol2as, wara2 3enab, and also all different spices you can imagine!
Always happy to be there!
Lots of love to the very friendly staff too.
Xx
A.
One of the best and well known Labanese bakery / cafe and food place for brekky / brunch and Lunch plus sweets and delight with a nice coffee for dine inn or take away in Brunswick at Sydney road. Freshly baked and cooked food. Comparatively very affordable to its competitors. While visiting in peak hours allow extra time coz super busy.
A must visit place
W. L.
It's an institution. Inexpensive Lebanese style pitas straight out of the oven, moist spinach pies and $3 classic meat pizzas with a little bit of fresh lemon and spice. Great for a snack on the go and really a must visit for anyone exploring Sydney road.
R. J.
Love the mini market, it has everything i need for middle eastern kitchen cooking.. the bakery itself serves very tasty dishes and very authentic... people are friendly and very helpful...love it and would definitely come back for more
S. C.
Love Lebanese bread shops. They have a wide variety of zaatar bread, cheese bread, spinach bread, Lebanese pizza and many more yummy stuff. I always buy too much here and have lots of bread that we keep in the fridge. Still good when reheated in the oven. Especially on cold days.
S. B. D.
Food is ok but a limited. Coffee can be a bit variable but have had some really good ones. Gets all the credit for its breads, pitas that run out quickly in the mornings.
A. 3.
Food is delicious (especially meet lahm bajiin) but the ladies serving as a cashier and taking orders in front desk a bit of not customer friendly. Either they are overwhelmed with the load or their nature.
J. X.
A1 Bakery was young that's yum not young. I have to say I really enjoyed that gorgeous Middle Eastern style pizza.
The refreshing flavours really made my day.
K. V.
Superb Lebanese bread, the best we have had in Melbourne. Highly recommended.
R.
Used to be better, food quality has gone down over the years.
V. M.
We are regular buyers of the cheese pies and are always happy. Highly recommend.
M. V.
A1 did the catering for a work function I was helping to organise. Daniel and his team were wonderful. We catered for 40 people with extra people turning up on the day. Heaps of food at a great price. Note order more Falafels than you think. They were the favourite of the office along with the Baklava.
We look forward to ordering again from you A1 Bakery.
S. M.
Food here is delicious! Love the food there and staff are friendly. Should be called A++ Bakery.
S. 2.
Tasty food fast service
L. P.
First time there our order was mixed up daniel quickly sorted it out was very apologetic. I was impressed at the level of service. The platters also look amazing will be back to try one..
S. G.
Have an A1 day! Love this place, inexpensive so it's a good idea to go with a couple of people and get many different things to share and try. Or go alone and grab some things to take home for later. First-timers if you want coffee order and pay at the register but make sure you go tell the barista what you ordered, otherwise he won't know.
S. H.
Always a pleasure eating at this place. Walked in a year ago and been visiting every fortnight. The platters are delicious, the coffee even better :) Highly recommend
M. V.
Well known for it's culinary delights, but today I was super impressed by the service. The young man making the coffees went out of his way to ensure my pizza orders were under control.
K. C.
Life changing food. So delicious, so well priced, great staff. Can get pretty busy in rush periods, so watch out for that if you’re in a rush!
J. S.
Fast service and tasty baked goods, must try are the cheese pie. So good. Huge selection of other Lebanese options. Must visit if you’re in the area. Pretty well priced.
A. W.
Great place, good vibes, can get really busy at times.
Don't keep pushing prices higher tho!
And have enough hot dogs for every one all the time.
C. F.
Very cheap and delicious food
Z. A.
Excellent bakery, the spinach savoury was amazing.
A. M. (. T. E.
No wonder why its THE best bakery on sydney road, fawkner. Love the bread, have try very fresh turkish bread. Perfect place to take family for a lunch or morning breakfast. You got a 1P just infront of bakery which makes less stress about parking fines. Loved it thanks.
D. K.
A reliable classic, A1 should never change. Great baked goods, tasty food and drinks, a handy shop with a wide-variety of products and plenty of space for large groups. A1 is ab institution in Brunswick.
S. B.
Great food great service recommended.
J. A.
5 stars across the board. Staff, food and service are unbelievable. Best bakery in the north.
R. D.
A Melbourne institution by far. The rapidly evolving & progressive A1 is such a treat. Food delicious, cheap & quality. Service is friendly & fast. They cater for vegetarian, vegan & also have GF options.
F. M.
I will go again for Falafel 🧆 but the ladies at the register need to improve their customer service skills! ✌️✌️
Y. S.
Review on the tawook - I have been going to A1 for over 6 years now and the chicken tawook is my favourite. I hadn't been to A1 for a few months and was really looking forward to the tawook wrap. The tawook I received was very thin, with little garlic sauce, few chips and pickles and overcooked chicken that wasn't consistently coated in the cinnamon flavour. I find that A1 sometimes gives me wraps of this quality and I am disappointed, it's just not the same. I have spoken to some of my friends who say they occasionally receive wraps like this too. I am hoping that this is not the new chicken tawook standard at A1.
F. A. B.
Amazing food! My friends and I adore this place and always want to go to A1 Bakery! It just has fantastic food and has quite a nice atmosphere! Will definitely be continuing to come here! :)))
S. K.
I went here for a falafel on Sunday around midday. The place wasn't busy. Ordered a falafel. Took 35-40 minutes. Falfel wasnt bad in the end but not worth the wait.
I then came back here on Monday and ordered a few platters and coffees and had great service and very quick. We enjoyed some delicious food, in particular the Spinach Triages. Would recommend trying this place.
W. A.
Best Middle Eastern bakery
L. C.
Fab value for money, and i love sitting there with the mix of old-timers and hipsters alike hungrily scoffing their excellent lebanese pizzas and generously composed platters of silky hummus and tahini sauces, lamb, kebabs, kibbes and crispy fluffy felafels... I want to be there now!
J. D.
Look no further to get your money's worth! Baked goods fresh out of the oven, and tastes pretty darn good as well, easily the best among all the Lebanese joints on Sydney Road.
e.
O my! Yummy yummy ..falafel absolutely delicious and an egyptian breakfast dish foul o my gosh...filling..cheese pies ..meat pies ..lots of variety of snacks and meals...check out the menu...everything is made with love...very busy..staff welcoming and polite. Highly recommended.
W. T.
The waiter ran out of the bakery, tracked me down and as I was pulling out of the car park he started waving my phone in the air. Panic and relief.
Great pizzas, great breads, really great dips, great toasted wraps and excellent baclava.
In fact I'm about to go back
L. P.
Great cheap food
Very good variety of Manakeesh
Vege and
Meat options
They make a really nice tabouli salad
If you need to buy some Lebanese groceries they sell it and they have the most fresh bread
Very friendly service and
They are very quick and efficient for those who are on a short lunch break
Nessrine is excellent and she always make sure that she gets your order right and she Always takes care of me
I was pleasantly surprised when I had their coffee too. I find that they're much nicer than some of the Big Chain Coffee Stores.
Well done to you A1
J. R.
Ah. Is there a better bakery in Southern Hemisphere?
R. K.
A Melbourne institution, I ordered the spinach and cheese triangle and baklava. Such good value would HIGHLY recommend.
E. P.
For cheap, tasty and filling food come here! The chicken wrap is delicious and so reasonable for a meal. The service is very efficient for how busy they are.
B. C.
THE place to go for a middle east breakfast. Staff always friendly, food always great and prices can't be beaten. Fresh falafel and Iranian bread to takeaway and extend the experience at home.
B. P.
My husband & I are from SA & visit our daughter & son-in-law every 2-3 months & look forward to eating at A1 Bakery each time. Good value & incredible, tasty food!
L. H.
I've been coming here for years and it's been consistently great! The prices have gone up a bit but it was already cheap to begin with so it's still cheap now.
M. G.
Great food and staff keep track of your meals amidst the chaos, chaos because it's very busy (Saturday lunch). Really fresh falafel, great tasting food!
M.
Amazing place for some great food and groceries. Consistently busy but you will know why when you get the food!
M. B.
Comfort food, great quality and variety (platters, wraps, salads, zataar etc) and a little grocery shop inside as well. My go to place for Lebanese food. Totally affordable as well!
V. G.
Great fresh food!!!
B. E. S. C.
Food is very big portion. Can eat very full. Sometime can be very oily and salty but still taste good.
D. R.
Popular place, food is reasonably priced and clean, good location however, parking can be an issue and when its busy-- if you are eating in--you need to allow for more time for your order.
c.
This place is just great. Food amazing. Atmosphere amazing. Can cater for everyone be from vegan to halal. 11/10 would (and have) go again !!
r. c.
Great place and loved the food on offer . Will be back again .
A. g. b.
The best fresh food in Melbourne..friendly staff.
T. H. B.
I enjoyed stopping here for snacks and supplies when I lived in the area. Brunswick used to be cool, but there's too many hipsters now.
W. C.
Can't got wrong with buying food from this place. Super cheap and tasty. If you have function, be sure to order ahead of time for the best deal.
K. S.
From humble beginnings, this is now a lively bakery, serving many Middle Eastern specialties. Their Lebanese bread is amongst the best you'll find, baked fresh on premises. Great for breakfast or lunch.
J. k.
Great people and excellent food at reasonable prices
S. M.
Great people, great food and great Coffee. Your $ will be spent good here. Your not only treated as a customer but treated as one of their own. I love this place. A true Lebanese Bakery :)
B. C.
Some of the best manoush this side of Beirut!
A great place to pick up some Lebanese goodies, best khobz (flatbread) in Melbourne and don’t forget a unica bar!
Best time to visit is mid week, it’s not too busy and the snacks are cooked to order. Try the veggie zaatar cooked, you absolutely won’t regret it.
E. G.
You can't go wrong with A1. They're platters are great value. Love stopping off to get fresh Turkish bread for dips.
Z. F.
Yum! Fresh everything! Informal comfortable and very authentic. The people behind the counter try to do anything to make you feel welcome
H. C.
Great little place, food was good. The bread there is amazing. The thicker stuff was softer than a teddy bear
r. b.
Good Lebanese bakery. Super fresh breads along with decent service. Foods super fresh and tasty and convenient to sit In if needed and plenty of room.
J. H.
Amazing food and staff are friendly
M. W.
Food is good but hygiene is average. It is one of the good Arabic restaurant in Melbourne.
It's equal to an average restaurant in Lebanon and Syria
G. E.
If you haven't been, go! Not as cheap as it used to be but still good value for authentic Lebanese food.
A. S.
Yep. This is it. The best Lebanese bakery on Sydney road. Grab a quick cheese pie with halloumi and you're good to go. They also sell their bread in a few other stores. Coffee is not their specialty -- go for the hot baked goods.
S.
The best! Amazing food and service to match - wish we lived closer
A. L.
yummy shanklish pie
A. E.
Yummy food always crowded sometime you have to stand in line to get some food.
J.
Always Delicious and Freshly made

P. M.
Large open dining area good prices, my falafel kebab was delicious
L. R.
A great place for lunch. Well priced and they have something for everyone. The Falafel platter is excellent. $1 packs of flat breads!
D. M.
A1 Bakery provides beautiful customer service along with a great atmosphere and delicious food that is an amazing quantity that doesn't sacrifice quantity when it comes to the price
E. A.
Yummmmm. So cheap and puts me in a gluten coma every time. Great for a quick bite or to take away. Coffee and tea options are really good too.
A. I.
This place has become my second home because of their tasty, cheap breakfast and versatile menu. You can't miss A1 bakery if you are in Sydney Road
M. L.
Beautiful fresh quality food osum hospitality service 👍💙
A. A.
We go to this place often, the quality of the bakeries not consistent at all. Sometimes very nice, thin and well backed some times very thick dough and under baked
e. m.
The best products and sevice.
L. H. C.
One of my favourite places to have a meal. Good prices and delicious food. I recommend the labne pizza.
J. S.

Great place, great taste. The customer service could be improved by speaking nicely to customers especially over the phone.

Very popular Lebanese bakery in Sydney Rd Brunswick. Eat in or take-away. Family friendly and wide selection from menu.
S. K.
Very delicious, fresh and fast, even though it is always busy
J. K.
Amazing food, lamb hommus is great but also pretty filling, made a mistake in over ordering but leftovers were very welcome later in the day
M. K.
One of the best bakeries around Brunswick! A cheese pie costs around $3.50 and I have spent around $9 at other places for the same! Some of the goodies to try here are:
1. Cheese Pie
2. Meat Zaatar
3. Traditional Zaatar
4. Shanklish Pie
M. K.
Authentic Lebanese pastry for a extremely cheap unbeatable price. One of my favorite breakfast place in Melbourne. Never disappointed.
I. H.
The bread and flavours are so amazing, I love it here. Good coffee and atmosphere too.
T. G.
Love the food here

The food is good and priced reasonably but I think they are understaffed it's very busy although someone was cleaning all the time but I wouldn't say it's a clean place. I think they should hire more staff at peak hours .
S. H.
Food is a beautiful tasting as ever and staff as polite and friendly as ever.
H. S.
Best Zatar in Melbourne

Had the kafta platter here and it was great! Will be back to try more
M. P.
Platter was great! Falafel pizza had too many fermented foods on it - be prepared for strong flavours.
J. C.
Sydney Rd would not be what it is without this keystone establishment. If you go here and do not enjoy the food, the environment then you truly are a regrettable stain on the underpants of human history.
A. S.
Fresh Middle Eastern bread and associated food. Decent (not massive) range of spices and tinned / bottled products.
Great value, spacious and relaxed.
C. H.
A classic in Brunswick.
