We pick up some mid morning treats and coffee here. The cherry danish was delicious and so was the cookies and cream donut! So good.

Brioche By Phillips is a well-established bakery with many franchises across the inner Melbourne suburbs. The customer service here, not so much. Not rude, but just no convo, no smiles, nothing but I’m not one to worry about that too much as long as there is almond croissants 😍. Not a bad value for a filling almond croissant, however quality is only slightly better than your average generic almond croissant. As someone on an adventure to find the best tasting high quality almond croissants, sadly this doesn’t make the list. It’s good, but not amazing. Good amount of butter and crisp, but not flaky or any kick of spice. It’s got an interesting tangy sweetness but not what I’m looking for in a nutty bold flaky almond croissant. If you are on the go, definitely recommend grabbing their almond croissant for a worthy experience. Food: 3.5 Value: 4 Ambience: 3.5 Service: 2.5

Good coffee and very tasty bronuts. We tried the cinemon and various chocolate varieties. All were fresh and around $4. Cant emphasis the fresh enough. We bought around 1pm so that was nice.

Well I found this place by surprise, I would have had to walked past it 100 times a never poped in. I'm so glad I did today. Not only do thay have some of the best sandwiches but you really have to get into there sweets. Talk about a doughnut that just melts in your mouth and pastries to die for you better get in quick coz these things will sell out fast.

I was in Melbourne sampling its diverse cuisines and sweets. One day it was super cold out and decided to just pop in somewhere to be rid of the numbness at my fingertips, and I found myself at Brioche by Phillip. Saw the custard filled donut. Last piece. I had to buy it. It was amazing! Slightly crisp exterior and very soft interior. There's a delightful contrast between the skin and it's innards. If you squish it a bit you'd know. Luscious custard was in a generous amount. Unfortunately I had to eat dinner very soon so I saved half... And it was good, almost the same, the next day too. What more can you ask for?! 5 freaking stars!!

Good food, but they are always getting my order wrong. Last time I ordered a min danish and got a croissant. I was looking forward to the custard and fruit when I got back to the office, and opened the bag to find a plain empty croissant.

(Translated) It was a shop casually found this year without noticing that I passed the shop a couple of times last year. The people in the office are being replaced and crowded by the time. Because it is a Japanese staff, all in Japanese. There is no mistake in taste, it is tasty. I went to OA watching numerous times over and over. Because it is a small shop, there are not many types, but enough for individuals to choose. The price is reasonable from $ 4 to 5 per bread. I will use it for lunch next year. (Original) 去年も何度となく店の前を通ていたが気づかず、今年何気なく見つけた店。 オフィスの人たちが入れ代わり立ち代わり、時間により混雑も。 日本人スタッフなので、全部日本語。 味は間違いなし、美味しい。OA観戦の手弁当に何度も行きました。 こじんまりとした店なので、種類はそれ程多くないが、個人が選ぶ種類には十分。 値段もパン一個＄４~５でリーズナブル。 来年もランチ用に利用させてもらいます。
