First time try and we love this Fruit Mince tart. Will come back to try tye cakes. They all look amazing!

I love the cakes here, the strawberry tarts are absolutely divine, the raspberry mousse and cheesecakes regularly appear on my dinner table when I have guests. The general staff are helpful and great to deal with. Definitely worth a try. Keep in mind the strawberry tarts are made to order, but I promise they are worth it!

Cocoa is not bad. I've never felt it's been a particularly positive or negative experience getting coffee. Coffee is not bad. Does feel a bit cramped inside, could they have an area where you wait for your take away coffee?

Amazing take home cakes especially the raspberry cheesecake, praline cheesecake and (chocolate) pleasure dome! They taste fresh with real ingredients. The smaller cakes are also great - we've had the lemon tart/meringue, vanilla slice and carrot cake. The small lolly covered cupcakes are a hit with young children!

We love the cakes that's why we keep coming back! Also the team are amazing. I was not able to make an online order so I tried my luck with going there hoping ghe cakes we wanted where readily available. They were not but the lady helped me by asking the kitchen if they can mke both cakes for me for a later pick-up. I was very happy to know that they will be and I only had to pick them up that afternoon - how good was that!? Thanks you! You made my kids really happy with the cakes they wanted for their birthdays.

Lovely local coffee with freshly made cakes and pastries. Great coffee and friendly staff with really useful opening hours. Accessible parking and trams make this an excellent refreshing meeting place.

Great coffee and service. Food and dessert look great, but have not sampled any. Has 2 entrances, front via high Street Kew and rear via the Woolworths car park. Makes it easy to reward your shopping trip if you got stuck in the lower car park.

Beautiful cakes coffee and friendly staff. So disappointing to use the restroom and find it filthy. Mould in floor tiles grout, walls and door needed a thorough clean hand basin taps etc. Needs a fresh coat of paint.

It's my second time ordered cake from this shop. They nailed it again! I had chocolate mousse with crispy chocolate meringue fingers, it tastes AMAZING!! One of the best cake I had in Melbourne, I'm not a huge fan of meringue but this one just melted in your mouth, delicious. Definitely recommend people who love cakes and desserts. Very polite and humble little cake shop in Kew. Can't wait to try their other cakes soon.

Update Sept 2019: Staff have been good (no weird aloofness 😁) for months. Upgraded from 3 to 4 stars. Generally the coffee is good and most staff there are fine. I was there about 1pm on Sun 30 Dec. There were only a few customers there. The guy serving was fine. The 20-something female serving was less helpful when I mentioned it felt a bit cold inside. Saying nothing, she spun around and dabbed the thermostat for about a quarter of a second and silently went back behind the counter. The room remained cold. Strange. One or two staff members over the years have exhibited a kind of aloof and not so friendly demeanour. I think management need to explicitly train staff not to behave like that.

A warm friendly environment, with a lovely Cafe manager called Rita. The staff are fantastic & helpful. Particularly Rita was very courteous and elegant. I had Latte there and a trial as a Barista. A great experience. I wish the best for them. Hamza

Great coffee but service could use a polish. Made use of the skip app to head in for coffee during a work break but seemed confused. May have been under the pump a smile goes long way.

The coffee has gone downhill, possibly as a couple of great regular staff have gone. Main remaining staff member has been 'difficult' a few times now. At least 2 of the small treat recipes have changed for the worse. Cakes look same, but cakes may be the main reason left to go.

From the very first enquiry I was looked after so well by the team at Cocoa and was confident they would produce something delicious and beautiful. I was right!
