It's the traditional place to buy bagels, and yes, they are still great after all these years, be about time the place had aface lift though!

I just discovered Glicks as my friend brought over Bagels today which were incredible, extremely flavourful, fresh and clearly made with care and precision. Side note but to the lady in the reviews below who gave Glicks a bad review based on serving customers without a mask on, I would suggest to that lady to pay attention to the law as businesses are not allowed to discriminate based on mask exemptions and that lady should not assume someone's health condition based on appearance. There needs to be more awareness about this and I'm upset to see that someone would use this as a reason to give a wonderful family business a much undeserved bad review. I will be visiting your outlets soon Glicks thankyou for your fabulous skill and expertise.

Loading up on carbs this weekend from the iconic Baker Bleu! There is definitely a bit of magic brewing at their bakery because everything I ordered from the Country Loaf to the Sesame Challah tasted like dreams and happiness ✨😍. Best decision I’ve made all lockdown!! 100% reccomend if you live within their radius or save it for post lockdown treats!

Fantastic bagels, fresh and well seasoned. Unfortunately didnt get to try fillings as at 720pm everything was put away and closing. Was lucky to grab some bagels to take home. Maybe adjust your opening times.

I have bought a few cakes from there on o casion and they were all very good. But recently discovered their bread in Woolworths supermarket also just down the street from the backers. Their brown sliced loaf is ABSOLUTELY fantastic soft moist and you would be hard pressed to know it even had a crust. But their white sliced loaf should come with an addiction warning on the pack. MAGNIFICENT BEYOND WORDS!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

I was told that Glicks was THE places to get bagels in Melbourne, but while they bagels looked like bagels, they were not the dense and chewy New York style bagels that I was hoping for. Overall, it's a good bakery, but it didn't live up to it's reputation.

Hidden gem for one of the best Breakfast's in town. The Eggs Royale are delicious! Thanks to the great service from Rose, Peninna and Matt (Chef). The décor is average and if this was fixed, it would be even better. Food and service very nice!!

This is the birthplace of the Melbourne boiled bagel. Make sure you get there early for the warm off the rack bagels. Friday is perfect for a warm challah which is great the next day for French toast.

The bagels are spectacular. I had a sesame seed bagel made up with cream cheese, avocado and smoked salmon and almost died because it was so good. The place is also very clean and the staff are friendly. The lady who served my friend and I made our bagels just perfect - top notch - will return! THANK YOU!

This place used to have the best bagels in Melbourne. Not anymore though. The current bagels offerings are soft and light and too big. They should be smaller with solid crusts and dense innards, just like they used to be. These newer bagels are Ok, but not great.

This is a small family owned chain of kosher bakeries in Melbourne. They are very popular and you can expect to queue at peak times. In the past they have not a had a reputation for cleanliness.

One of Melbourne's kosher 'institutions'. Very popular with the regulars who look like they've been going there for years. Great service from the young man and manager of the shop. So cheerful, considering the passing of Mr Glick senior, recently. The salmon bagel was AMAZING; full to the brim with fresh ingredients. You may also eat in for coffee etc. We thought it was also excellent value considering what we received. Bravo.

Ok, not great bagels but my 10 year old likes their poppy seed mini bagels for her school lunch. Australians don't really get what a good bagel is. Most of the bagels here are bread rolls with holes in the middle. 5 & dime are the true bagel to buy in Melbourne but can get pricy depending on where you buy it - vary anywhere from $2 to $4. Glicks mini bagels are $3.60 for half dozen

They have the Best Bagels as you have to go early as the good one's always sell out. My favourite is the Blueberries and love the Chocolate Bagels

It offers a basic selection of simple salads (eg, beetroot, coleslaw, egg) & a freshly baked variety of bagels for a quick lunch. Seating can be limited. There's a fridge with soft drink options & a coffee machine. Also on sale (separate from the cafe) are bagels, bagel roles, challahs, pita bread. There's easy access to the sho. No steps. Prices are moderate.
