Comments of Masarap Bakery
The bakery was a bit of a disaster zone when I attended. Lots of boxes and things in the customer area. No staff to be seen. Despite good reviews in the newspaper I found it a bit customer unfriendly and lacking in order. I'm sure there are some great buns and things and the list of offerings in the window hinted at that but I didn't see them on the shelf. It looked like a wholesaler rather than retail and the server had to go out the back to get my change. Maybe I caught them at a bad time.
Cash only payment. Not much food display unlike before. Fresh good hot pandesal though
Favourite bakery in town. Warm Fresh Pandesal (bread rolls) a must for anyone in the area.
Great bakery but need to get EFT POS to make shopping more convenient
Great place to get different bread varieties. Fresh from the oven.
I love their Sapin Sapin and Leche Flan.
Will return for more!
The pandesal and tasty bread are so yummy especially when these are hot! Love the breads here.
Love their sweet spiced bread!
Best phillo bread rolls
they only take cash. apart from that all food is good
Local Malaysian delicious food.
Loved the hot pandesal here. The best pandesal we ever had. We had tried different places but we always go back here.Their pandesal taste like in Philippines.
It's a local Malaysian ( I think ) bakery on Churchill avenue, I haven't been inside but walking past there's always a nice freshly baked smell & the baked goods on the shelves look really good too. It's great that in this small section of Churchill ave there are so many unique & culturally diverse retailers, and as it directly opposite the new ( 2 yrs ) Braybrook library and buses stop right at the shops, it's easy to utilise the library services & browse the shops too.
Made pretty good bread ! Service can be better for sure but I guess they r always busy :) it’s kinda my regular to go place for bread now
Filipino bakery with the best pan de sal anywhere. Guaranteed to have hot bread. Siopao (pork bun) is good too although missing the egg but I guess it lasts longer stored in the fridge without it.
Good customer service. Good food. The place to go when you're missing Filipino bread and other bakery products. Excellent pan de sal, spanish bread, ensaymda, monay, hopia, etc. They bake pan de sal fresh everyday. So lucky that the Asian Store in Ballarat sells their products.
Delicious Filipino bakery. The dream would be having some gluten free options.
Always hot and fresh Pan de Sal, even on Sunday. Sometimes there can be a line but worth the wait. Remember this place is cash only!
I have tried every filipino bakery I can find on google (both east and west melbourne suburb) and so far this bakery is the best. Their bread genuinely tastes like home.
Drove 40 mins just to come try the bread here and I was not disappointed! Although they didn’t have all the items. The Spanish bread and .. something else I got was delicious and fresh!

Best Filipino bread ever, get the hot pan da sar and you will not be disappointed, hotter the better.great selection of other breads and such, when in area always go there
The smell of this place goes through the whole neighbourhood from the early morning, it's free advertising! Their breads are always so light and fluffy. Try the pan de coco!
The pandesal are freshly baked and delicious... Though in terms of ensaymada and other cakes such as Ube and Macapuno aren't so appealing. The bakery should work on more of the food presentation.
Even from the cark park the smell of the fresh pandesal brings me back to the Philippines! Soft and fluffy pandesal when ordered fresh! Also had the Occassion when I got Spanish bread fresh! Delicious! It's a shame they don't have a sit down area where you can relax with a coffee.
Go there every few months when in that part of town. All good except for the live bug trapped inside a wrapped bag of pandesol. They have a reduced range of products as compared to a few months back.
Guaranteed to have hot bread
any time of the day to buy
whenever you visit the place
Yummo pandesal!!!
Fresh pandesal and moist coconut filling keep me going back to this favourite Pinoy bakery. Tastes like home.
Ube pandesal is amazing! Always lovely to get a warm half dozen of pandesal for a bargain price!
