I regret going into this shop as I know I will always spend more than I thought. The bread here is hard to go past. Especially the corn loaf. I should also mention that a bigger regret is going past Phillipa's without stopping to enter.

Beautiful pastries and croissant, lovely place. Unfortunately, there were no vegan options, and they only serves full cream milk with coffee. Not exactly alt-diet friendly for a place in inner city. Edit: Thank you for responding to my review, I visited your bakery on more than one occasion and was told that you only, only had the one type of milk which was the full cream milk, I even asked again and was told that by the lady that you definitely only carried one type of milk and it was full cream. I literally still go here regularly and asked again about the milk and got told once again that you only had full cream milk. It's really weird that you would lie about that...

Phillippa's bakery is a hidden gem. It's a weekly trip for me, and one I look forward to. The staff are incredibly friendly and the quality of food, bread, sandwiches and milk is amazing. We need more places like this, especially during tough times. To the person below complaining about selection (when times are tough, and they don't want to over produce) and about the hand sanitiser. I think you should think about what's important in life, and try to help these amazing small businesses, that make Melbourne what it is. And whilst you're at it, bring your own hand sanitiser in the future.

This is our favourite spot for morning coffees and pastries. Love the vibe inside - small, cute and cosy. Look out for the specials on the brownies (when they go on sale we buy in bulk and freeze them)!

By far, the tastiest gingerbread I have ever eaten. Soft, spicy and delightful! The kit was well presented and packaged well for shipping. The instructions were clear and the tree easy to assemble. I'll be buying one again next year!

Nice food when fresh but Warning for anyone wishing to order a delivery from Phillippa’s - be prepared for delays: I ordered three hampers on Sunday for delivery to different friends. Not one of them has received their hamper yet. Phillippa’s didn’t complete the order till Tuesday, then sent it out Tuesday afternoon using Australia Post rather than a courier that specialises in food delivery. The biscuits and cakes aren’t too much of a problem, but I was hoping my friends would receive fresh hot cross buns baked the same morning - not to be. At this rate, my friends won’t get it till tomorrow (Thursday) at the earliest. If Australia Post don’t manage that then it will end up being received after Easter. Disappointing. Food hampers I’ve ordered through other companies have always used appropriate couriers and arrived on the same/next business day.

We pop in to Phillippas almost every weekend as we live just round the corner. The women who work there are just so lovely and the bread and croissants are divine! Great product and friendly staff keep us coming back:)

Hello Everyone! Just in case the changes don't pop up in time, the Outlet is OPEN 8-2 on Christmas Eve for last minute bread and gifts!
