C. L.These guys do some wicked meat pies and sausage rolls. For a chain store set up they have some of the best chunky beef pies known to man. A definite option on a winters day in Melbourne.

I’ve walked into famous bakery’s all over Australia and have had worse pies than these.. just because they are on every corner does not mean we should take them for granted.. great, fresh, tasty pies and sausage rolls, crispy, flaky pastry with generous fillings at affordable prices and huge variety. Even the pie smiles at you before you eat it!.. What’s not to love??
p. l.This place is our favorite, our sanctuary, in Southern Cross station. Famous for the pies, however, we love the coffee and hot chocolate! A great place while waiting for your next journey by train or the coach! They have various kinds of pies to choose from!

M. K.one of my favorite haunts whenever i visit Australia. they used to dot every corner in Sydney and Melbourne but has since dwindled. Try their Chicken and mushroom pie or the Steak and peppercorn. then again, taste is subjective.
