First time visiting while in the area. My partner and a few clients all raved about this place so obviously had to check them out. Originally went in for just a pie but also ended up ordering a coffee and bought a pack of Lemon Sherbet Biscuits. Really amazing and tasty, wasn't expecting much from the coffee but it was actually really good quality and well made. Loved the pie and lemon biscuits. Staff were friendly, attentive and showed genuine care for customer service. Will definitely be back

Awesome country bakery. Always try to stop in here, Ned Kelly Pie is my favorite, but they have plenty of choices, and some of the best breads, rolls and pastries. It is top notch.

Totally unbelievable!! This cafe has done what no other cafe I have ever found has done. It has gluten free muffins that are actually good. They don’t just look good, they’re not fluffy for 5 minutes before you realise they’re greasy as hell and actually quite dense, they don’t lull you into a false sense of security and then make you sick later. These muffins are genuinely incredible. I tried the flourless chocolate muffin and the flourless raspberry muffin. Both were beautifully fluffy, not too sweet, definitely not greasy or strange in any way. They were just genuinely good muffins. Most ‘gluten free’ options will make me just as sick as the gluten option, so this was an extremely pleasant surprise. The cafe itself is tiny, blink and you’ll miss it, and quite close to the road. But who cares? The bathrooms are clean and recently renovated, and you can’t get a muffin like this anywhere else in Perth!

Where do I start? If you are heading up to the Avon Valley or to Noble Falls then be sure to slow down as you pass through Gidgegannup and just pull into the Gidgegannup Bakery and Cafe... If you want a fresh loaf of bread or a crunchy French baguette you will find it here made with ❤ or you will be able to feast your eyes on the glass cabinet which holds the ⭐best apple slice ⭐I have tasted in a long time, take it home and marry it up with double dollop cream.. that is a date night right there⭐ If you are after a good ole toasting than please try one from here I went back 3 times over 3 days and I couldn't fault it. Try the gelato ice cream there and the jam donuts are ever so sugary but so yummy...

I always stop here for a coffee and cake on my way to Toodyay after my 24 hour shift. I often buy an extra cake for my partner but end up eating it myself. I intend to try every cake in the shop. The gluten free blueberry muffin was particularly delicious as was the chelsea bun. Coffee is great too

Sausage roll was ordinary at best ... the meat was very "doughy" + a large chunk of uncut onion about 5cm long in sausage roll... also dissapointed no longer make party pies... Everything else about bakery was a pleasant experience. [EDIT] : thankyou for reply. We usually drive past this way once every 3-4 weeks (on a 3 hour drive from Perth) ... Previously, your bakery was always our spot where we stopped in at along the way. Will stop in next time going that way.

I love a good pie and lately they are harder and harder to come by. But not at this bakery! Absolutely loved both our food (butter chicken & spinach and ricotta roll). There isn't much for vegetarians (only other option is a pastie) but it was still lovely all the same. It's about $6+ for pies but it's worth it. We also had a lemon meringue tart each which were amazing as well!

Pleasantly suprised by the wide selection. The delicious smell of the bakery greets you at the door. We had good coffee, hot chocolate, some freshly baked pies, a sausage roll, fruit tart , roast beef roll and best of all the jam donut. We had a very enjoyable morning tea on the drive back home.

Scrumptious baked goods, served with a friendly smile in the quiet surrounds of the Darling Range 🥐 🥖 🫓 🍪 🍰, only 40min from the city! Heaps of parking directly off Toodyay rd, including ACROD bays and space for motorbikes. They also have a dining room and toilets for patrons, as well as a friendly magpie that will come say hi and sing a song if you're lucky 🎶🎶 Definately worth dropping in next time you're driving through Gidgie

I'm a frequent flyer here at the Gidge. The coffee here is beautiful and never burnt, the staff are friendly and the range is surprisingly extensive. My favourite product is the Almond and Cherry tart. The filling is moist and has depth in flavour, the cherry's are tender and is best served with a coffee in the outdoor undercover area with the beautiful bush views and fresh, cool breeze. The bread is amazing aswell, the sourdough is terrific. Always a highlight to my day being able to swing past and grab a coffee :)
