M. G.Killer awesome pies. Very nice crust. Awesome staffs willing to help out when they can. Great spot to visit and have a good filling bite after trekking Serpentine falls.
M. A. D.Mince pie very nice and served hot. Pastry not too heavy or to crumbly. Sausage roll also nice appears to use good quality sausage mince. Chicken and veg pie also a solid choice. If you want the award winning chunky steak pie, need to get in earlier in the day. Lemon meringue slice nice. Meringue a little too sugary for my taste but others enjoyed it, still very nice to share, as was the vanilla slice.

Garvy, meat and pastry all lacking in flavour, it’s a pie you need sauce with and you shouldn’t need to add that cheap flavour enhancer for a nice pie...
$7.60 for the Great Australian Bite pie, felt it’s worth $4 at best.
Very busy, staff were friendly and a clean premises with heaps of seating, that’s what brought it up from 2 to 3 stars!
Y.We thought it was overpriced at first at $6.70-$7.90 a pie, but they are pretty good! The red wine garlic mince pie was very tasty though extremely salty, but I like a salty pie. The "Gold Digger" steak and mushroom pie had a normal about of salt, and was tasty in its own way. Pie crust was just average. The other pastries looked very tempting and there is a sign saying their pastries won a 2020 award, but $6 for a cream donut seemed excessive. Overall worth a try, they have a nice range of interesting pie flavours. There's a giant parking lot and the venue is extremely large and almost clinically clean, great for lots of big families if you don't mind spending more than usual.
n. t.$35 for a couple pies, sausage rolls and jam doughnut. Price wasn't the issue happy to pay good price for good food. Entered the bakery. No greeting lady was filling the warmer. Felt we where an inconvenience. Pies cold, sausage roll a mushy mess, jam doughnut the little dot of jam you see on top is all you get. Served by Amanda, didnt seem happy to be there.

P.Place is always popular so many people coming in and out its great, the pies are good not the best in my opinion but good. Place has good parking and toilets available so good for a stop over if your heading through Pinjarra.

shop 6/2 Peel Steet just a short walk but you will find that it was worth it.

A. T.If you’re travelling past Pinjarra Bakery - make sure you stop in!!!! They have an amazing range of pies, sausage rolls, pastries and more. They often have random pie creations (Vegemite pie... Yep and it tasted pretty good!).
They also do fresh sandwiches, cakes, fresh bread and also an ice cream stand! Decent seating area inside in the aircon aswell as some seats outside. Toilets are also located here 👍🏽
We love Pinjarra Bakery and is our “brunch/lunch/snack place” whenever we head down south.

I. M.Pies and sausage rolls have been nice but no plates and cutlery. Reason: Covid spread. But what Covid in WA? No new cases. You can't spread a disease that nobody have. I think is just commodity. Why they should work washing dishes when they can not to?
Also no sauce. The first bakery i've been in and they don't give you a sauce when you buy a 6-7$ pie.
The sauce is extra. You can buy tomato sauce for 40c
I have also bouth a vanilla slice. Served in a bag with a plastic fork and bamboo knife. Lol
The cake haven't been so good. The top sweet with a pink something under the icing like it was covered once, melted and covered again. The vanilla custard not sweet and a bit salty. They have used salt insted of sugar? They have poured some salt in the sugar tab? Who knows?

B.Good options and nice tasty food. Has a 'sweets' section, savoury section and deli options as well, and an icecream stall too. The pie I got was yummy though not very hot, you had to eat it quick or it would be cold. Lots of seating available and ample parking. They have no labels on the actual pie and pastry items, so you have to read off the menu which sometimes cycles to an ad which can be annoying 😅 but is just nitpicking. Average prices, not cheap but not too expensive (depending on how many you are buying for)

K. B.Second time I have landed there. Bought 2 minced beef pies for $35.00. Could not find a steak 'n kidney for the life of me. All meat pies were frozen. Ok for some, but we were hoping to buy something to take home, ready to eat. I did buy a jammy doughnut for the husband...bit on the steep side, but he seemed to enjoy it. All in all....it was okay.

B. T.This bakery has to be one of the best we know of. When ever we travel south we like to go via Pinjarrah and enjoy a great coffee supported by a pastie, a wrap as we did today and cakes / slices. Make sure one is the French Vanilla Slice which is to die for.

J. D.Been here a few times, also tried the one in Maddington. I find the pies too runny almost like a cheap misses macs pie. Not much flavour either.
I went to the Pinjarra one again today, found two runny pies, a cheese cake with almost like too much gelatine (which I chucked out) and a not very cold iced coffee. The jam cream donut was good.
My wife said her pie was ok, but she'd had better.
The staff are friendly and was a lot of them to serve the big crowd. The premises looks pleasing with a big indoor eating area, toilet didn't have any soap or hand sanatizer. Parking was easy with ample spaces available.
I probably won't go here again.

L. K.Dairy free sorbet was AMAZING, & they had 2 flavours on offer (lemon or mango). The lemon wasn't too tart, but was packed full of flavour and so refreshing on a long drive. Their Gelato is made on site too. My husband had their sausage roll and loved it! Always easy to park there as well, and handy having a public bathroom (only 1, but always tidy), and they adhere to all the recommended covid-19 health practices. Thanks to the friendly staff, & see you on our next drive through Pinjarra! :)
S. M.Had a nice roll, although expensive for a bakery. The staff need to learn to listen to what people want instead of interrupting and trying to make decisions for us. We know what we want and don't appreciate being pushed.
J. C.Anyone who goes to Pinjarra knows that they must stop in to the Pinjarra bakery and grab themselves a feed. They have a huge selection of freshly baked pies, cold drinks and icecream/gelato. The kids meal is only $8.95. you can dine in or take away, it's always busy but they have plenty of staff on so your order is processed very quickly. Highly recommended for anyone who is in the area, also if you are in the Port Kennedy area they have a small store there too.

I love the store layout too, lots of tables, a big carpark (and a beautiful kooaburra mural outside!) and always clean and tidy. We've always found the service to be excellent and friendly.
Not just pies, pasties and sausage rolls either. They have a big cabinet of desserts, sandwiches and wraps, fantastic coffee and gelato (mmmmm).
Most definately worth the visit.

Next time I seen her she was cleaning tables and the next amazing part was she was smiling the whole time she was cleaning. My impression was that she loved her job which you hardly ever see. I can't fault this place at all!

L. M.I would like to give at least 4 stars but $7.90 for a pie is a bit over the top when other very good pies at say Golden Bakery on William St in the city and the bakery near Bakers Hill on the way to Northam have most of their pies around the $5 mark and are very good.
We are talking the Pinjarra bakery pies are 60% more expensive!
My pie was good but by no means (and certainly not near) ‘the best’ I’ve had. Even the pies at the bakery in Mandurah forum looked better to be fair.
The staff however were upbeat and friendly which is a positive.
Maybe I will try something sugary next time.

Staff are very friendly and the service and attention to detail is amazing. The store has a terrific sit down eating area and heaps of space. A really good place to rest up on a long journey
C. W.For a country bakery, not quite as cheap as one would expect, but the pies are meaty and fully filled. Great sustenance food stop for those who cycle all the way from Perth and back. Be sure to catch them before closing time. A great source of work for young school kids in this rural-metro edge town south of Perth and they are trained well in customer service. Keep up the good work.

L. C.This is a very nice and popular bakery that's has won numerous prizes and accolades over the years. There is a lot of pride and the service is second to none. The quality and taste of products are top dollar. I can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get some nice food for themselves. Definitely pop around and it is worth the drive to Pinjarra.
K.Fantastic bakery. Always stocked with lots of yummy food options. Lots of parking and easy access to the building with space outside to sit and eat. Delicious cakes! Often make the drive down the freeway just to visit there and sit by the river.

Great food and service, the shop was overflowing with people when I arrived but got in and out within 5 minutes which was great work from the staff.

J. S.Tasty, but many things are overpriced. It's more of a glorified roadside stop for Perth travellers than it is a nice place for locals. The vanilla slice is amazing. Pies are fine, but limited flavours that don't change. Vege and chicken recipe need updating. Nice coffee and slices.
J. P.Have tried a few pies now just in case the first pie I tried was having a bad day! Gourmet Steak and Kidney, and Chunky Beef- the gravy is too thick,over powers the meat flavours.Sausage rolls are OK, but pastry not flacky enough,to heavy...Just tried a chilli pie was pretty good,no complaints but your beef pastie, the filling fell out after first bite! Don't know how old it was but filling was like a big lump of veg...I'll keep trying till I find pies I like
J. M.I didn't have time to write earlier, but the Apple Strudel and coffee that I had was fantastic. It was probably the best strudel that I have ever had, anywhere in the world. The staff were polite and attentive and I couldn't fault my experience there today.
S.Pies are over priced for the quality. The beef, cheese and bacon pie was under seasoned and under whelming as was the beef and mushroom. For a $7 pie you expect it to be really good. Maybe their other pies are, but it will be a while before I buy another if ever.

C. W.Hidden on plain sight in Pinjarra is this gem . Mouth watering display of freshly baked cakes and pies. I had a jam and cream donut which was mouth watering good . We took away some pies which we ate for lunch . These too were really good with plenty of meat , not like some others you can buy which should really be called gravy pies due to their lack of meat. The staff are very good and cost not too bad .

R. H.I used to love going here but it seems as it's become more famous it has also become significantly more expensive and has seen a reduction in some of the quality of its products. I hope that this bakery can get back to where it used to be but right now it's not nearly worth the detour.

T. B.Simply top quality pies, don't bother with the negative dribble below. Seems numpties want high quality product for nothing. You can go to one of the major supermarkets for that low grade rubbish.
The gravy isn't runny, the meat is good quality and doesn't smell of a low grade cuts used. No arteries, lumps of fat or garbage in these pies, if u don't think that's worth paying extra for, good luck. Sausage rolls are also good. Products are well seasoned, and not overly fatty.
Best regional pies in WA is the Pinjarra, York and Bindoon bakeries, end of argument.

S. H.This is a massive bakery: bigger than any I've seen in Perth. They have a huge range of pies as well as the usual cakes, slices, breads, donuts etc. They also have icecream (gellato) and coffee. You can sit inside or outside to eat.
Well worth dropping in if you're passing through Pinjarra.
