One of the better pie shops in West Oz. Coffee needs a bit of work as it was bitter but the decor is very nice and for sale from a local artist.

Located along the great eastern highway at the town of Baker's hills. Here you'll find amongst the freshest pies to cater to most dietary requirements. Not are they tasty but they're substantial and we'll priced. You can also purchase refreshment and condiments to go with the pies to suit your palate!

Stopped in here for breakfast on the way to Kalgoorlie, ordered two pies and a coffee. The steak and pepper pie was one of the best pies I have ever had, up until I started on the chunky steak pie, man that was good! It's like they've taken a whole tender steak and wrapped it it pastry. The coffee was so good, I was genuinely unhappy when there was no more left. Will be stopping here again for sure!

A must place to call into if passing by. Look for the big green and Gold signage saying "Bakers Hill Pie Shop" on the left hand side if heading away from Perth lovely friendly staff. Inside seating with 7 tables, 5 of them with 4 chairs and the remaining 2 with 2-3 chairs. There is also outdoor picnic table seating under cover however in winter it can still get wet. Wide variety of different pies including a breakfast bacon and egg pie. Lots of fillings inside all the different pies I've had. Apart from pies they also do pastries, sweet treats all baked daily, plus tea, barrista coffee included lactose free milk. Also large glass fridges full of different drinks.

Never considered myself a massive pie fan, but the pie's at this place were absolutely delicious!! Handy place for a pit stop if you are going to/from Perth for a roadtrip. We had an assortment of Steak, Steak and Pepper, Steak Bacon and Cheese Pies , Sausage Roll and Chicken and Veg Pastie. All extremely yum! Steak Bacon and Cheese Pie could of been warmer. Sausage rolls are so good. You can tell the ingredients are premium as you don't feel sluggish post meal due to high calories you get with other low quality pastries. Wish they had a franchise in Perth so more people could try them out. Also young staff members were great in serving customers. Well done!

Great pies! Decently priced at around ~$6.70 a pie, nice soft homemade pie crust with a flakey top. We tried the steak and mushroom pie, bacon cheese sausage roll, and the little square mud cake slice and would get them all again next time. The pie gravy was quite thick and almost solid, but seasoned very well and had nice generous chunks of moderately tender beef. Sausage roll had a very firm, tasty sausage mixture that was quite dense and filling. Chocolate mud cake had a fantastic ganache and a great ganache to cake ratio, the square slice looks small but it's enough. Overall would definitely recommend! Note: Toilets were not very clean.

This place is probably the best pie shop in WA. If you're headed east from Perth 100% detour to go here. This place is worth every cent. Never had a bad experience and try to go here as often as possible. All pies and sausage rolls are outstanding to date. This is a must go to place if you're trying out WA's best bakeries.

An essential stopover on the hour's trip from Perth to Northam is the Bakers Hill Pie Shop. Today, my wife and I chose a Burgandy Beef pie and a Cornish Pastie, topped off with tomato sauce. After saying grace, we tucked into the pie first, savouring each mouthful of chunky juicy steak, onion and sauce. Mmm. So nice. Our attention then turned to the Cornish pastie. It was chock full of moist, tasty vegetable, encased in thick pastry. Without a doubt, it was the best pie/pastie double act I have ever had. But please, don't just take my word for it. Do yourself the favour. Visit Bakers Hill Pie Shop and do the taste test for yourself. Be blessed.

Turned around aways down the road to go back for a pie. Happy I made that decision. Son's comment "there's actually chunks of meat in this pie!", just a plain beef pie with tomato sauce. Yet I had to agree, I love a steak and kidney pie, hold the sauce please and too often is left the rubbery veins of the kidney diced en masse. Not here. If you like a pie, don't make my mistake, stop here. Will be back for sure.

The pies and homemade sweets are just delicious. Unfortunately their plain sausage rolls were like rubber and pretty much tasteless. The outside area is a good place to eat but they didn't seem to keep the tables clean as there was pie crumbs everywhere over most tables. We had our two dogs with us and they were welcome to sit with us but they didn't provide any bowls of water to wash down the rubbery sausage roll. Luckily we always have our ownown water for them.

You can buy all typical bakery stuff here and the place is really clean staff friendly it's not overly expensive. The food is so fresh most stuff is made during the night so food is super fresh I like this place. You simply MUST try their Japanese cheesecake it is so Yummy.

One of the staff seems like she had a long day in the morning, asked for a sauce didn't know I had to pay as didn't mention or asked if I'd like a sauce and wanted to pay for it on card as I don't bring cash around and she gave me a look. So didn't get my sauce in the end :/ definitely need some improvement.

Known (rightly so) for their gorgeous droolworthy pies but their desserts are fabulous too. When we visted there was a massive selection of cakes, slices, cupcakes, macarons, meringues, donuts.... Delicious! Customer service was great. I thought the wait would be longer but they had three staff members serving which was excellent. Not too pricey either... Two big teddy shaped meringues, a lemon meringue tart and two big cupcakes with icing swirls and chocolate and lolly butterflies on top set me back only $16. I had expected it to be a lot more. Very popular for coffee too. Convienient position off the highway to stop for a break. Huge selection of hot and cold drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking in the gravel carpark and restrooms for customers. Overall a very impressive visit. We will definately return. If you're driving via Northam to Perth make sure you stop on the way. Or Perthites... Road trip time perhaps?

Bakery is to be the location to be if u don't live there and the tavern is 12 meters away on the same side of the road . There's a post office and pharmacy rainy season it's beautiful and green views are amazing depending where u r in bakers hill. The main road is very busy with array of vehicles wideloads and semi trucks so plse b aware and very careful.
