Bakehouse SC has become a real favourite and everything i've had has not disappointed! Great coffee - check, fresh warm bread - check, delicious pies - check, and my personal favourite the ham and cheese croissant - one of the best in Sydney! Plus the added bonus of friendly, consistent staff. Highly recommend!

An absolutely lovely bakery with great people! We mentioned that we were taking some pastries over to the hospital for nurses who were taking care of a loved one this Christmas and they added free danishes for us to take over! Truly a very caring bakery in the neighborhood that is also absolutely delicious! A true gem!!! Thank you Bakehouse!!

Normally absolutely great - been coming here for years, even when it was run by the current owner’s father!! Always excellent service and great coffee. Today, though, left a sour taste in my mouth. Such a shame on the last day of the year. Picking up my pre-ordered, pre-paid $45 NYE cake (among other bakery items I picked up yesterday), and ordered a coffee. I was told by a dutiful staff member that the minimum card spend was $5. Understandably, I questioned the ‘extra’, seeing I had already outlaid in excess of $60 yesterday. I was told that they were the rules?! ADVICE from someone who’s been involved in the hospitality industry for many years: Please allow your staff the discretion to make the rules fit the situation. Happy New Year.

To be honest I can’t emphasis enough on how great this place actually is. Great coffee comes with consistent deliverance, quality service, and pleasant stuff. Magic place! In my opinion best in Sydney, hope it’ll not change any time soon :)

I have lived in Coogee for the last year. A friend recommended this place and told me to beware of the delicious treats but that it had great coffee. This honestly is the best place for coffee in the East (maybe even all of Sydders)! They’re super friendly, quick and I’ve never had a bad coffee. Ever! And the treats, pies and other savoury options are all delicious!

This place is an absolute gem. The coffee and cakes are without doubt, the best in the east and the service is even better. I ordered 2 cakes and cake pops last weekend and they were so fresh and delicious, I highly recommend the Black Forest gateaux! Every time I visit I feel so welcome by Jeremy the place is a credit to you. This is exactly why I support small businesses like yourself so well done!

This bakery/ coffee shop does really really good cakes, pastries and coffee all at really good prices. Everything from cupcakes to full size cakes. Espresso coffee to hot chocolate. Sausage rolls and pies to tomatoes and sandwiches. Soft drinks to loaves of bread. THIS PLACE HAS IT ALL. As well as very friendly staff, great service and easy parking.

Bread and pastries here are great! The coffee and rinks are pretty good too. I have never had nay issues and go back on a regular basis. The meat pies are amazing and can highly recommend them along with the danish pastries they make.

Called in to buy a take away coffee and some pastries to take to a friends house. As the staff were busy at the time serving other customers I patiently waited until I was served. The staff apologised for me having to wait and threw in an extra pastry for me being patient. That's excellent customer service and I will recommend this place to everyone. It's worth a visit as the cakes and pastries our absolutely delicious oh and the coffee's great too.

This local bakery is hit and miss with the food and drinks. The lemon meringue pie and bread is good. They also accept catering orders and you can get mini party pies and sausage rolls. My son loves the cupcakes. They have a tap water stand with glasses so always a nice touch. The coffee and vanilla slices are a miss. This place is very popular with the trendy locals for lunch and treats.

I used to go to this shop while i was staying in sydney for 2 weeks. This shop is literally amazing and they have great food over there. I miss going over there. Hopefully this bakery will still be there when I return back to Sydney one day. The Customers are very friendly and this place is such a charming place. Fabulous coffee! These use Milklab almond milk which is the besssst. A great spot to pat other customers' dogs, read a selection of magazines, drool over the bakery cabinet and bask in some sun before the working day commences. Hot tip #1: bring cash as purchases under $5 need cash. Hot tip #2: bring ya keep cup.
