The eclair was rich and I loved it.
The pistachio slice is good, but a little bit too sweet for me.
The chocolate slice cake is delectable and flavourful 😋

Another great bakery in the hood. Friendly service.

A lovely patisserie, with an excellent selection of cakes and tarts. We got a box of tarts for an afternoon tea. Everyone thought they were delicious!

it's hard to resist not going into this place as you walk past, the baked goods smell is heavenly. they do all the classics but incredibly well. I'm in love with the silly little meringue ducks! I giggle every time I see them. there is no bad calorie wasting here, it's all good!

The best chocolate cookie around. Great balance of sweet and salty, cripy on the outside and chewy inside. Melts in your mouth.

I agree with Linh and Ginger. The place has deteriorated under the new owners. This shop has been a very long-term high-quality place, and has been much loved. It is now ordinary. The ingredients used have deteriorated, and the window display is sad. Cakes are over-sweetened and over-cooked. The service is also not as good as it was for so many years. A big smile is appreciated, but, sadly, it does not constitute good-quality customer service.

Well crafted central European patisserie goodies, think Vienna, Budapest, Stuttgart cafes..

In an area with almost no bad options, Croissant d’Or is still not to be missed! They make great versions of all your favourites, but imo their own recipes are always stand outs.
The swirled poppyseed slice with a citrusy glaze is perfect, and if you happen to see their bread-and-butter cake, buy it before it’s gone!

Nice bakery, some food was quite old tho

Probably the best croissants one can get at Potts Point/King Cross - with flaky crisp crusts giving way to a fluffy buttery inside. Their pan au chocolat is equally outstanding with the same lovey texture with bits of rich dark chocolate within

Chocolate delights. Have to admit I agree with some of the other reviews, the pastries did look over cooked.

Totally agree with Linh. This place was amazing a year ago but now they always overcook their cookies and the ingredients just aren’t the same. Too bad. Try the other bakeries and patisseries in the area before this one.

What's NOT to like about Croissant D'Or?
If nothing else, they're obliging to a fault.
Their Christmas mince pies are just the stuff of which songs should be written.

It's a very tiny shop you might not easily notice it but they have a big sign handing outside. Let me just say their small prices of chocolate one of the tastiest chocolate I had, I could taste pure cacao in it.
And their pastry is must have , I recommend to try the rasion snail with walnut and custard . It's fabulous with coffee in the morning. They offer heaps of other options, it's one of these places where you can't just wake out with one pastry coz honestly it's so good and yummy that one peace is not enough (at least for me 😅)

(Translated) I bought this and that for half a key, but I just put it in a paper bag and it was crushed on the way home
The Australian uncle who came behind me bought less than me, but put it in the box.
