What an amazing experience this was. On shortish notice and in difficult and trying times Alannah delivered in every way possible. From designing the cake to delivering the tasty finished product. Congratulations your passion, commitment, talent and drive are exceptional. It was an absolute pleasure and delight dealing with you and your team. I'll be back for sure. Not only did the cake look good it tasted delicious. On your suggestion I ordered the lime and coconut. It was so popular I only got a few morsels as I was cutting it up. It's rare to see a cake demolished so quickly and punterscoming back to ask for more. You deserve the 5 stars.

Alannah did such a perfect job of our wedding cake! After being disappointed by other suppliers, Exquisite Cakes was the only place we could get a traditional fruit cake made and the final result was just incredible. Professional, accomodating and genuine. Exceptional personalised customer service. Alannah is so much fun to chat with and a master of her craft. I'm a very happy return customer and these delicious works of art have delighted both me and my children over the years. The mouth-watering creations are almost too good to eat. I will never forget the look on my daughter's face when she first laid eyes on her unicorn birthday cake, with it's glittering horn, 2 years ago or my son when he saw his Thomas the Tank Engine cake last year. I'm back again for a Pirate cake and know I won't be disaapointed. Not just a creator of exquisite cakes, but also a creator of magical and priceless memories.

Exquisite cakes did a great job with my wedding cake this July. I found the look I wanted online and the actual cake looked so much better! We had chocolate and lime/coconut mud cake and it was absolutely delicious. We placed the order a little last second (few months) before the wedding but the level of service we received and the delivery was fantastic. We’ve also compared the prices between a few places and this bakery was by far the most skilled, attentive and reasonably priced. Highly recommend

My husband and I had a lovely time trying cakes here with my mother-in-law. The coffee was great and Alannah, our consultant, was very patient, helped us figure out what would be a good-sized cake, gave us stylistic advice, and even let us send her a vector image of our wedding cake topper (my husband and I ended up making our own - we really enjoy graphic design!) We were also very impressed that the gluten free mango passionfruit cake we ended up choosing was very moist. It was delicious and refreshingly nontraditional. The leftover cake was frozen the day of our wedding and when we defrosted it a year later, it was still amazing! Thank you, Exquisite Cakes, for such a wonderful cake that all of our guests could enjoy!

A huge shoutout to Alannah from Exquisite Cakes Sydney who created us the most beautiful wedding cake. When we first met her, she made us all these little delicious cupcakes of all the flavours we wanted to try. Even coming up with the design of our cake, she was very helpful and had our best interests at heart. First off, wow - in every single aspect there is to receiving the perfect cake (process, presentation, taste etc)...just WOW. I thankfully stumbled across "Exquisite Cakes" after hours of looking online through different sources and I am so beyond delighted that I did because I truly cannot fault them. I needed a cake for my daughters 2nd birthday, and as we had missed celebrating her 1st due to the original lock downs back in May 2020, I really wanted to have something special. And special it was. I dealt with Alanah the entire process and she was simply amazing. An absolute artist in the highest form at what she does in terms of making the perfect cake, and an absolute angel in terms of how delightful she is to deal with. She was so personable and lovely each time we spoke/met and seriously great with my babies. She explained everything so well and mentioned things that I wouldn't have even thought to ask - like about the candles! When I very nervously walked in on Friday to pick up my cake (not knowing if it would be exactly what I had wanted and being the perfectionist that I am) I was blown away. It was everything and more. I can't even put into words how amazed I was with what she had produced. It was simply perfect. Come the following day when we got to try this work of art - it tasted just as gorgeous as it looked! It was moist and bursting with flavour, whilst not being sickeningly sweet. It is by far, the nicest cake I have ever eaten. One final thing I'd like to mention is when I went to pick it up (alone with two babies under two) Alanah carried it out to my car, lined my seat with the towel that she had recommended that I bought with me to make the seat level and safely placed it in its place. Her customer service is remarkable and nothing that she did went un noticed - I appreciate it all! Thank you Alanah and the team at Exquisite Cakes!!!

We had Alannah organise a cake for us for our wedding. Our experience with her was great - she was accomodating to our specific needs for our main cake, and we were happy with our other cake slabs as well. The cakes were all delicious on the day!

We ordered the Teddy bear cake for our daughter's 2nd Birthday and it turned out to be most cutest cake ever. The tiny intricate details on the Teddy Bear were beyond perfect and my daughter and her friends absolutely loved the look of it. The mud cake was also extremely delicious. Denise was wonderful over the phone and provided excellent service.

I never write reviews but felt I need to due to some negative reviews this place has from likely ‘difficult and never going to please people’. I went into the store 2 weeks ago with a design for the cake o wanted for my daughters birthday. Within 15mins we had completed to process with amazing customer service and advice On the day we went to collect the cake, upon inspection a bow had broken (due to the weather and not craftsmanship so its. O ones fault). We spoke to the owners who went out of their way to fix it, give us options so it wouldn’t happen again and then they home delivered it to us (nearly 1hr) away. This far exceeded our expectations. Fast forward to the eating of the cake. Every other cake I’ve eaten that has been professionally made, looks great but I’ve never liked the taste, usually having dry cake with chewy thick fondant.. This cake was one of the best I have EVER eaten. It was a major hit with our guests and only a small bit remains (and we even ordered doubled to size compared to the guests). Tomorrow I am picking up my christening cake and I absolutely look forward to trying it. This cakes may have made me out on a extra few kgs but it’s all worth it.... A massive thanks again to the owners of this shop who have exceeded our expectations and whose customer service has been amazing

I ordered a 21st birthday cake and personalised gingerbreads for our daughters party with Exquisite Cakes. Everything was made so easy from my first phone call to the cake being delivered, especially as I was interstate. A great coffee and cake oasis in the industrial area of Castle Hill. Staff are friendly and accommodating and their cakes are delish. My favourite are the iced cookies which can be individually themed to suit any event. Even though i now live in Darwin i still visit on each of my trips down south and have ordered cookie bouquets via their website as gifts for friends. Very impressed with the high standard of this family business.

What an absolutely delightful family business! I am getting a rather elaborate 40th birthday cake made from Exquisite Cakes, and nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend visiting this business for custom made cakes including weddings, birthdays, christenings etc. They are well priced unlike some other cake shops in the area.

Not only was this the best Chocolate cake I have ever tasted (son's birthday cake) I paid for it when I placed the order, when I picked the cake up they told me it didn't take as long as they thought to make so they gave me $20 back Honesty and Integrity is always welcome !!!!
