Comments of Flour and Stone

Long wait for take away but the food was delicious. The coffee is not great, probably won’t order it next time. Although the lamington is the most expensive I’ve ever tried, it’s the most moist and we always order it when we come here. The centre is filled with jam and it’s so worth the trip. The ham and cheese sandwich is hella great as well, I think they use Gruyère! Also the brûlée tart reminds me of the one by Bourke Street Bakery, it’s so delicious! We come here once a year!
A. L.
One of the best pastry shop in Sydney. Lamingtons are exceptionally tasty. I’ve been here for a couple of times and they always offer quality pastries. Highly recommended.
M. S.
Sublime value for money- Bought an incredibly high quality and delicious layered cake for a birthday from here. Highly recommend the Caramel Passion Gateaux cake! (plaque not included)
k. l.
Delightfully scrumptious cakes! The chocolate layered cake with cream cheese frosting is divine! Will definitely be back - I'd recommend to anyone. You can trust whatever they make will be delicious. Also, super lovely helpful staff!
A. T.
Lines are a good indicator of quality in Sydney. Worth the wait, placing an online order or early planning to compensate.
The pick-up service is as artistic as much as delicious! Pic as evidence
R. T.
Good sandwiches $9 and finger bun $7.50. flat white $4 rather milky and weak in flavour.
K. S.
The best bakery ever! I’ve been a couple of times already and everything I tried was mouthwatering. The raspberry chocolate cake is absolutely amazing, the lamington is fantastic☺️ The savory treats are very delicious too. I think I’m addicted 😍
B. K.
Amazing bakery that only ever gets better! Sweet and savoury it is your choice as they do quality across the board. Coffee is good too, so great for a morning takeaway treat. Always a queue and for a good reason, but don’t worry, it moves quick thanks to the great and friendly staff!
A.
I come to try the Lamington, and was so delicious. Surely, will come back again to try the other pastries
C. F.
OMG, today I tried this place for the first time, the savory lamb pie was absolutely amazing... the best lamb I have eaten in 10 years since I moved to Australia and if that was not enough.. we tried a few sweets; rocky road to die for. Definitely a must try if you have the opportunity.

Iconic Sydney bakery
Flour & Stone is one of Sydney's iconic bakeries! The pastries are terrific and the cakes are decadent. Good coffee too!!
May 17, 2016
Lovely bakery and great coffee
This tiny popular bakery has a mouthwatering selection of cakes, pastries, breads and pies and serves delicious coffee on beautiful hand made crockery! We loved it so much we visited it twice during our week long visit to Sydney!
n. m.
Amazing baked goods! Expensive but worth it. Get there early if you're going on a Saturday or pre order the line is very long.
E. V.
I love Flour and Stone bakery! First discovered them at the Eveleigh Markets a few years back, and since then they’re always a go to for a yummy treat when at the markets or in Woolloomooloo.
S. B.
This is one of the top bakeries in Sydney as far as I can tell. Passionfruit tart, croissants, pan au chocolate and scones are outstanding. We've also tried the raspberry and chocolate mousse and raspberry, pistacchio and rose cake both are sensational. Given the high quality it gets really busy and the place is cosy but the service is still friendly and quick. Five stars for me!
M. G.
Incredible food, especially cakes and bakes, and the service is always excellent. A tiny cafe, so be ready to wait for a table - it's well worth it.
j. t.
5 stars for the lamington (which sells out really quickly, we had the last one in stock today!). Hands down the best lamington I've ever had. Lamingtons as a cake breed have always been a bit dry & chokey for me but this one had the right amount of moistness and density / bite. The bakery/cafe area is also super cosy (although quite small)!
K.
Extremely pleasant spot for a quiet and cosy lunch.
Chicken sandwich: buttered corn was a great addition. Generous amounts of avocado. I mean its chicken sandwich - difficult to mess up but definitely done well here.
Pannacotta Lamington: 10/10. soft, moist and well balanced. However the seeds of the (strawberry?) jam were rather hard which somewhat spoils the smoothness if you do bite onto it.
Coffee: top notch. Reminiscent of some of my favourite coffee spots Cedrics, Industry Beans & Circa Espresso.
K. B.
Such a cute and charming bakery! I love everything here: their pastries are delicious, their coffee is great and I love the cute packaging. Their pistachio raspberry cakes is a dream and reminded me of my time in France.
J. H.
Bought a few cakes, Lamington is a bit sweet but very moist. Love the ricotta cake & mango cake. Will go back again and try more.
M. M.
A cozy setting at Flour and Stone is a must visit if you want to taste fresh patisserie delights in Eastern Sydney. Hidden in a quiet street, you can have a seat at the tables outside the Salon while soaking the sun on a cold day with a warm Pain au Chocolat and Cappuccino. Or you can sit in the Salon by the window bar while devouring a Madeleine with Flat White.
The staff takes good care of walk-ins and seated customers alike. The Annexe is a must visit to view all the deserts on offer for take-away. I will certainly return for the Valrhona Manjari Chocolate to relish this Chocolate Mousse Cake. Menu is decided on a daily basis, so please plan ahead and be cautious of time as seating is limited and open times are there.
Y.
Super cosy, tiny little cafe. All the staff seemed lovely and friendly and had beautiful smiles. Tried the Pannacotta Lamington and it was insanely good. The top sponge was closer to a mild creamy custard than cake, it was divine. Worth the $8.50. An instant favourite!
Note: Surcharge for Eftpos.
A. S.
Today’s Madeleines where better than ever if that is even possible.
A. L.
I love flour and stone for all things baked.
It's worth the trip to sample their chocolate raspberry buttermilk cake, or lamington, but I have also loved this crumpet (the best I've eaten outside England!).
Their almond croissants are also delightful, with a lovely filling and crusty shell (although on occasion, have been a bit too light on filling). These usually sell out early - so get in quick!
A. s.
Since they are popular by local people, even weekday morning eating space are crowded. As a visiter, I wanted to try their taste and bought take away vegetarian sandwich, with baby spinaches, onions, carrots and cheeses. Simple basic sandwich but enough for start of the day. I also liked sesame bread.
E. Y.
I was taken to this place by work colleague this afternoon. People are queueing to buy their pastries.
I tried italian easter cake - a slice of vanila lemon light cheesecake, with a chocolate fruity pieces, garnish, base was perfect 👌
It was an absolute art, I can see why people are willing to queue for this.
Different indigr exploded in my mouth, not too sweet, you can taste every single things as they started to melt in your mouth.
R. P.
Honestly the best cafe in town!! Consistently fresh products and amazing pastries! Thanks flour and stone for your great customer service and world class food!
S. L.
The store is not quite big, and it can only seats about 10 people, but it has one of the best lamingtons in town. The lamington cake is quite large for only $8.5, and it has fresh and chunky coconut slice as topping, making it an unusual lamington comparing with others. The cake itself is moist and dense in a good way, and the taste is quite delicious and amazing. Their service is also good. We had such an enjoyable breakfast here and will definitely visit here again.
C. G.
We got a lemon dream cake from here and it was delicious. It seems a small place but the pastries and cakes look beautiful.
A. Y.
This is one of Sydney’s most delicious venues. The cakes, tarts and treats are wonderful and are a must!! A great variety of wonderful food that your tastebuds will love you for
E. Y.
Love this little shop! The cakes are so good! Very friendly staff to help with introducing the cake! Very relaxing atmosphere and will definitely come back to try more of their cakes!
E. S.
My favourite little bakery in Woolloomooloo. It’s a cosy little space; seats roughly 12 people at any one time. There can be a bit of a queue, depending on the time you visit, but it’s worth the wait. They have something for every palate. My personal favourite dine-in dish is the toast and eggs, which comes adorned with a little crocheted egg cosy (unfortunately you can’t keep them). Perfect little spot to take your kiddies, nan, prospective partner, or for a lunchtime escape.
A. H.
Amazing croissants and pastries. Just don't understand why they don't make more croissants, you've gotta be there so early before they sell out.
K. C.
The baked goods of this place are a must try. Pie pastry was far more delicious than their filings. However coffee was quite lacking.
C. R. C.
Petite cafe with big flavour
Loving the chicken sandwich
Cannot resists to buy the apple tart for takeaway
Definitely coming back!!!
New favourite ❤️
T. R.
I find this place a little overrated.
The cake and pastries and very good but the staff are unfriendly and the coffee is weak.
There is always a queue which surprises me.
J. R.
Friendly service, and the most delicious lamingtons I ever had! Also highly recommend the lamington cake for a bday or a party. So worth it!!!
D. V.
Nothing special about the lamington though it is tasty and you can feel the good quality of the products.
On the other hand, the passionfruit tart was amazing!
A. C.
Amazing pastries and cakes! Including gluten free. I just wish they were open longer!
B. V. G.
This is hands down one of the best patisseries, bakeries in Sydney. The highlights are the pannacotta lamington which is the BEST in Australia, I am sure of it. Following that, the croissants, old fashioned vanilla, pies - basically everything on the menu is of supreme quality and why after all these years, there is a loyal following that is worth indulging in sugar for.
L. R.
A recent post regarding the high price of your croissants 🥐 has prompted me to write a review from my perspective.
I have been visiting your establishment since my son started high school, and he is now in Year 11. A haven for “food porn” photos 📸
Unfortunately when you live in Sydney, you also live with Sydney prices. But you also live with some of the best cafes in the world, and Flour and Stone is definitely up there for me. I would gladly swap a packet of supermarket croissants 🥐 🥐🥐🥐🥐🥐 for the same price for one Flour and Stone croissant 🥐 without blinking. But that’s just me, and I do appreciate that others may not feel the same, and that’s their prerogative.
It’s a shame to read a poor rating especially around price because, as far I know, the prices are pretty obvious in the store so it’s not like you don’t know what you are paying for.
I hope this review balances out the poor review as it is an exception rather than the norm judging by all the Instagram comments. I am a big fan of Flour of Stone, and it will always be my “go to” for special occasions and treats.
K. S.
I have spent a lot of time trying a variety of pastries across Sydney in an attempt to find Sydney's best... and I have finally found this at Flour and Stone!
You can never go wrong with Flour and Stone. Flaky, delicious croissants and almond croissants, the best pain aux raisins, and don't even get me started on the CAKES!
The Lemon Drizzle Cake, Lemon Dream Cake, Carrot Cake - WOW WOW WOW.
Do yourself a favour and visit Flour and Stone. You won't regret it!
M. A. L.
SUPERB CAKES AND STAFF! Speechless with their hospitality amongst customers especially the tourists. Highly recommended! Cakes are affordable and very delicious!!!
C. L.
The almond croissants are so good - flakey, deliciously buttery and that almost caramelised brown bottom! No soggy pastry here. Their canelés are also divine but sell out pretty fast so check the daily menu and come early. There is often a queue outside the annexe but it is fast-moving and certainly worth the wait.
T. C.
Great flakey and crispy crossiants and Brulee tarts
M. N.
Exactly what I had hoped for, a party for my eyes and mouth, great service to boot. To think I only went on whim after following these guys on Instagram. Wish I lived close by.
G. Y. R. P.
Small coffee place and bakery with amazing products. Staff was really nice! Good for an afternoon treat!
A. E.
A small, authentic cafe with about 5 tables but a great variety of sweet and savoury items to choose from - we had a sausage roll followed by a variety of homemade cakes! Definitely worth a visit if you're passing.
G. G.
Lovely little boulangerie on Riley Street. Super fresh high quality pastries baked from their own kitchen every morning. Highly recommend the Chocolate Raspberry Buttermilk, Pear Tarte Tatin, Pain Aux Raisin, Pain Aux Chocolate and Morning Cinnamon Bun.
J. M. Y.
LOVE this bakery - probably my favourite in Sydney. Very cosy and quaint with a wide selection of cakes and pastries. Everything I tried was so good! Be sure to try the lamington cake.
S. W. C.
I am rarely let down by the cakes and pastries and really appreciate what appears to be an intentional healthy work environment. Unfortunately, it does feel that the staff are getting snobbier and it’s very much their way or the highway. I have rarely witnessed, and never experienced, any of them going out of their way to help a customer unless it’s someone that’s obviously familiar to them. It really is a shame because the food is great and it’s obviously a great place to work at... what’s there to be unpleasant about to your customers?
H. S.
Amazing Lamington!
Probably known by most people in Sydney this place serves an amazing Lamington with Panna Cotta and Jam. Absolutely delicious. Moist, not too sweet and the Panna Cotta makes it really refreshing! If you wanna get one of if not the best Lamington in Sydney, look no further!
G.
Our favourite local bakery! We go for breakkie at Flour and Stone at least once per week, always order Lamington and crumpet with ricotta and honey. All pastries are amazing and freshly baked daily. Coffee is great and service friendly and attentive.
L. B.
The best cafe in Sydney! Great customer service. I love this little shop!
F. R.
I am on the fence about this place. The food, i know is good, but not to my palette. I have a friend that lives close so I do get treated to their wares frequently. I attended an purchased a Chocolate raspberry cake. Decadent, rich, flavorsome, but over whelming. So much so, i did not enjoy it. We have had their lamingtons prior and again, a different take on the cake, but not my cup of tea. I will try again, but next time I will stick to the pastries,
R. S.
Pre-ordered a delightful chocolate cake for a birthday. Pick up was a breeze and the cake was a hit...
M. G.
This place is out of world! From friendly staffs to excellent food. Loved it so much, every time I was nearby I couldn’t control my feet to visit multiple times a day. Seriously, it’s the best pastry! I tried almost every well known bakeries in Sydney, the taste of your pastry is elegant, subtle and great quality. It reminds me how you put your great efforts and pride in all those goodies. I have to make my way from Balmain to there early morning and just love to hold the warm pastries in my hands kinda smoothing my soul....thank you for the most beautiful food.
M. S.
Have dedicated a large part of my life in the quest to find the best Almond Croissants in Sydney, and the ones at Flour and Stone are consistently the best I've had. Lovely crispy outer, chewy pastry inside, good delicate frangipane without the harsh fake-almond taste you so often get elsewhere.
M. J.
Great variety in Spring festival. And everything was too good. Amazing walnut brownie.
J. S.
Looks a lot choices, ordered soy latte and almond croissant. Coffee is above average, and croissant is light and crispy.
W. Q. L.
Fantastic meringue on my Lemon sliced cake and really good Lamington!
It's a small place, so don't expect many seats.
D. P.
Probably the best baked goods in the whole of Sydney, plus their ethos and attitude are great. Always get the lamington!
T. W.
Great variety of delicious pastries, tarts and bread. Friendly service and decent coffee too! Everything is on the slightly pricey side, but the quality is a cut above so in my opinion totally worth it.
D. A.
One of my favourite almond croissants in Sydney lives here. It's not SUPER almondy but it's so soft and flaky with a beautiful hint of almond. All of their pastries here are pretty special!
H. F.
Excellent. One of Sydney's best bakeries. Would revisit every couple of months and have. Homey cakes that are really great.
F. F.
Tasty fresh cakes and bread. Has a vavavoom currently. Be aware you will probably have to queue for a bit, but you can skip the queue by ordering online the day before.
Quiche very light and fluffy. Chocolate cake moreish and not overly sweet. Seems to be quality simple ingredients for most items.
R.
Amazing pastries and great service. This little place can get really busy so there may sometimes be a short wait but it’s well worth it.
J. A.
Best lamington I’ve ever had!
K. E.
I have been wanting to experience flour and stone for quite sometime now and I am soooo glad that I did. Lovely tall boy with light hair who took my order was incredibly lovely and patient with me. The chocolate and raspberry cake was phenomenal not to mention the vanilla slice out of this world. The pies and sandwiches are delicious also and great coffee. Thankyou for being a wonderful delicious and unique cafe . Much appreciated and can’t wait to be back for more sweets !
B. A.
Ohh some very lovely and unique sweets and pastries.
I tried 8 different things and lived them all, except the croissants, it was ok but not great especially for its $6 price tag.
R. R.
The young fellow behind the counter was very patient with me and talked me through the cakes and sandwiches on display. I ordered a carrot cake, vanilla slice, lamington & a veggie sandwich. They were all outstanding in flavour and quality ingredients. To top off the coffee barister made me one of the best oatmilk cappuccino I've ever had .Her name was Tash. Great work Flour & Stone as i will be a regular customer. Highly recommend.
M. L.
I just love this place. Have been back for many years. Absolutely delicious. Wish they open on Sunday. Yes yes highly recommend.. just do it! All is yummy
P. S.
Very impressed with this "hole in the wall" type bakery spot. The staff was lovely and gave us all sorts of recommendations on what to try. Both sweet and savoury pastries we got were rich, dense and filling.
L. S.
This place is unreal. Absolute class customer service and the food and beverage are impeccable! 👌🏽
L. H. B.
I’ve tried a lot of bakeries in Sydney and this is my favourite by far - their croissants are 10x better than any other I’ve tried, plus they always have so many more delicious temptations to choose from (including seasonal specials like hot cross buns, mince pies etc.). The place is small but if you’re lucky enough to find a seat, grab it - you can get specialty coffee and artisan tea to have in (or takeaway if you must. Not to mention the staff are absolutely lovely and will offer to warm up whatever you decide to go for.
L. G. L.
I really like this place. It's a little disorganised so if you're in a rush it may not be the place for you. If on the other hand you're interested in great coffee, lovely pastry and really lovely staff then look no further. I love the gingerbread collection they have(more to the point my kids love it) and the cakes and buns are amazing. Also love that they are a block from my house. Thumbs up all round.
J. S.
I'd heard good things about their lamingtons and they were spot on! Their gluten free cakes we're also delicious. Very soft and moist.
Well worth a visit
M. T.
Cute little cafe with some great produce and breakfast options! Friendly staff great coffee.
J. A.
Come here as early as you can in order to get some of their best selections!!! I highly recommend the chocolate and salted caramel tart. I’m super picky with chocolate and caramel combo but they managed to do it so well!!! It was not too sweet an the caramel was absolutely gorgeous (so perfect). Took my friend here on a different time and we ordered the lemon tart and salted caramel eclair which was also very good!!!
Y. H.
Highly recommended! Great products and great staff :) They have their stable of crowd pleasing favourites and are always keeping us on our toes with seasonal variations. My personal sweet favourites are the Fine Apple Tart and Lime Tart w/ Anzac Crust. Their Lamb Pie or Breakfast Triple are perfect when looking for a meal option.
E.
3 stars from me today I had a great coffee the vanilla slice was delicious 😋. But unfortunately my Pain au Raisin was nice till I go to the middle of the pastry 🥮 and it was still frozen!! and cold 🥶. For such expenses pastry that isn’t acceptable very disappointed 😔
M. B.
One of my favorite bakeries in Sydney. Best cakes in Sydney IMO. Even if it’s not so close of my place I always try to go as the cakes are just amazing. Best lamington I had in Australia. They have a lot of French cakes I love Madeleine, canelé, kouign Amann, tarte basque....
I tried the crème brûlée pie with strawberry, honey and rosemary and it was simply DELICIOUS. The rosemary in the cream was just so original and perfect. The shop is so cute and the staff friendly. High quality cakes, which is not so easy to find in Sydney.
W. W.
While Flour and Stone’s food is great their poor level of customer service leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth. Please improve your customer service specially when trying to order a cake take away. It’s free to be nice. Thank you.
A. K.
Beautiful service! Lovely intimate spot. One of the best almond and chocolate croissants, my husband and I had for awhile!
R. H.
Stunning lamingtons and a brilliant pavlova. What more can you ask for?
M. E.
This is a really nice like cafe / cake shop, the food is really nice and made fresh, and they currently hold my #1 position for chai tea in Australia.
The staff are friendly and professional and it's well worth a trip here although it is take away only.
L. Z.
Very nice chocolate croissant. Nice flaky pastry. A little steep at around $7, but well worth it.
V. O.
Gorgeous little cafe, tucked away off William Street. Came here with my friend. I had the hazelnut torte and he had the lemon cake. BOTH were DELICIOUS!!! Staff are gorgeous and friendly. Very reasonably priced as well, for the quality you get. Keen to try the coffee next :)
B. L. C. C.
Awesome chicken sandwich, had it once and came back for more!
G. K.
Great little bakery. Definitely a hidden gem. I didn't know the existence of this bakery until a friend recommended. It is hidden away at a quiet street! Nonetheless it has the best cake in town. I tried the raspberry and rose cake, apple and rhubarb pies and carrot cake. They were all yum! I like the apple and rhubarb pies best! Definitely will go back for more.
M. V.
Very delicious baked goods! We tried the almond croissant, scone and apple tart. May be one of the best almond croissant I've had. It is quite small but adds to the charm.
A. M.
A local institution when it comes to rustic bakeries, fabulously French with artisan bread, pastries and so much more. It's a pretty small place and can get claustrophobic inside when it's busy but really worth it. Exquisitely prepared with fancy flair it's ethereal just to inhale the aroma and the artistry that goes into everything they offer. And coffee is even more flavoursome and perfectly brewed. Best ambience and even more fabulous teams serving you. Family family. Outdoor seating available or order-to-go. There's limited street parking or public parking across at Woolworths Woolloomooloo Metro across the street. A must visit and explore this gorgeous French patisserie and coffee and bakery in Woolloomooloo. My absolute favourite.
M.
I went in this morning and had the Saffron poached pear on life changing bread with Pistachio, Raspberry and Rose cake, longblack as always.
The food is very nice and I enjoyed it very much. Most of all, the service is soooooo great. Friendly staff at the front counter made some nice recommendation which just made my day. It is a very unique experience in Sydney and will return many times because of this.
Y. B.
fresh bircher and beautiful open sandwiches💕 truly nice staffs.
D. B.
Lovely croissant, chocolate raspberry buttermilk!! Coffee was a bit weak to my liking. Was a bit sad, I didn't get the 9th anniversary cake 😔. Oh well...
M. D.
Simply the best. I'm addicted after my first indulgence today. I had the leek & gruyere tart and the chocolate, raspberry buttermilk - bellisimo 💋
M. N.
Decided to write this review because the cinnamon roll I had yesterday was absolutely outstanding. Flaky & delicately crisp on the outside, soft & moist on the inside, with a generous amount of sweet cinnamon and little bits of orange between the layers. So much goodness for 5$. Only thing I‘d suggest would be to make the ‚extra hot‘ drink orders teuly extra hot - my coffee was luke warm before I reached North Syd (by car) so that was a little disappointing but that seems to be s common problem in Syd cafes. Overall, fantastic experience! Btw when is the hazelnut cake coming back?
B. T.
I’m somewhat fussy when it comes to croissants. Didn’t manage to catch them hot, but even cool they were fantastic, baked to perfection and extremely moreish. Even more impressive, the hot chocolate (often butchered as an afterthought in many cafes) was also executed impeccably. When I say the service was friendly and informative, I am massively underselling it - kudos to the staff and owners, a real pleasure having breakfast here. I will be back.
J. L.
Best lamington in Sydney! Must try as well as all their other delicious treats and baked goods. Annexe has also opened next door with great takeaway service.
S. W.
Absolutely delicious pastry. You will forget how much calories are they. I finished 3 different pastries in 10 minutes!! They changed shop’s name in 2020
N.
Absolutely amazing. Flour & Stone have the best coffee in the area, great spanokopita and sweet treats that are out of this world. Plus the staff are always smiling and pleasant. The whole experience is flawless!
D. G. (.
I have previously given a review to Flour and Stone. I mistook it with another cafe! I would like to apologise to the owners and would like to correct the record. This place is perfect for a quick coffee and cakes and gingerbreads biscuits for the kids are fresh always!!
My only qualm is that the place is a Shoebox! If you can fit 10-12 people in there it’s a lot!! My wife keeps asking me to come here but it’s just way too small and is obviously too small. They once attempted to open it up to the hall way on the side but neighbours complained and they shut it down.
All in all a terrific place if you can get in!! The only reason not 5/5!!
j.
The best caneles in Sydney! You have got to try them!
Bought a few cakes for some parties here and every time they have been a hit. Make sure you order in advance to make sure they have the one you want. The sponge cake is my favourite.
R. R. A.
My fav pastry and dessert goto place in sydney. Big time fan of all there sweet options. Lemon drizzle raspberry pistachio are my top favs..try their creme brulee which would absolutely melt.. have been buying cakes from here for all parties n celebrations. You can smell the butter as u enter the shoppe. Folks working here also pretty friendly and always smiling....cannot recommend this place enough
P. Z.
Super friendly staff! Found this gem as I was just walking around. The carrot cake is good so does their coffee!
M. A.
Can't beat freshly baked. Great coffee.
E. F.
I had the best muffin of my life here, a ricotta bran muffin with poached pears on top. I liked it so much I bought the flour and stone cook book and baked them at home with blood plums! They also have the best croissants in Sydney hands down, but get there early as they always sell out.
Their new menu is wonderful, you must try the life changing bread with ricotta and pickled cumquats. Perfect combination and balance of flavours.
And the cured salmon, avocado and lemon myrtle creme fraiche is a superb quality fresh lunch option. Thanks Flour and Stone!
A. W.
Very good bakery with quality food always. Just wish they were open on sundays. The croissants are very nice. Only downside is large lines sometimes. But it’s a function of their high quality
K. M.
The best lammingtons in the Southern Hemisphere. Exquisite cakes and pastries. Their tiny side-street premises see patrons lining up on the curb for a slice of the action. A Sydney institution and well worth the short wait.
C. P.
Best croissants in Sydney! Buttery, flakey, crispy goodness! And then there is the delicious Lemon Drizzle Cake.... Heaven in a slice with a really tart icing that makes it an amazing experience. Pretty much everything here is delicious so make sure you don't live or work near here because it's dangerously tempting to try everything!
M. N.
Lamb and rosemary meat pie is awesome. A large chunk of tender juicy lamb encased in beautifully flaky buttery pastry. Coffee from Coffee Alchemy is much more tart than I would prefer. There is only limited seating as most of the premises is a working bakery. It gets busy after lunch time on the weekend. The sour cherry and chocolate cookies are very addictive.
S. M.
Gorgeous cakes and pastries that are 10/10 delicious.
If you can manage to get a seat for breakfast you can enjoy a cute little serving of Boiled Free Range eggs and soldiers. Delightful.
A. C.
Excellent selection of freshly baked pastries & sweets. Very tiny place with limited seating. Better to order to go and enjoy at the park. Good coffee, acceptable price. Delicious whole cake that is perfect for birthday parties. Seriously yum.
V. W.
First attempt this morning and they offered the best bestest lamington! Good service and very nice coffee as well. Will be back soon to try all the things inside outside the shelf!
K. N.
One of the best places in Sydney for delicious baked goods. Pretty much anything you get from here is going to be amazing - the highlight for me is the lamington. Get in early or expect a bit of a line up.
Ł. K.
You know what's cool? Ordering a cake for your godfather in Syndey, while living 15500 km away!
Delivered on time. From what I've heard - tastes very good!
Thanks!
E. R.
Worth the visit to the shop to see the full variety. Such beautiful cakes. They look great but taste amazing! Dying to try the pies. Best croissants at Orange Grove Markets.
B.
Would love to try their croissant but unfortunately sold out when we got there. Tried the carrot cake, panna cotta Lamington, almond croissant & pistachio Rose raspberry cake.
Love love love the pistachio one, can't recommend enough!!!
Panna cotta Lamington is quite surprising flavour, I enjoy it a lot
Croissant tate good, tried it heated up, but it would be nice if when heated up can avoid pressing it flat so much.
Carrot cake the icing is a bit to sweet for my liking, I like the cake itself but not so much for the icing.
Overall good croissant and cakes.
L. F.
We came for a fresh croissant and coffee. It was lovely. The croissant is crisp and flaky on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The coffee was well made.
The staff are really friendly.
It does get busy after 8.30am on a week day and you'll miss wait for coffee and or a table.
J.
Most delicious almond croissants and cakes you can possibly find in Sydney.
T. G. D.
Excellent cakes and coffee! One of the better ones in the city.
B. R.
Best pastries in Sydney by a country mile!
Only downside is that it's small with next-to-no seating but if you're happy to take away or just stand outside then it's definitely worth the trip.
C. G.
I miss this place so much!! I visited this lovely bakery everyday during my short stay in Sydney! What a lovely bakery and definitely helped with my first impression of Sydney!
M. M.
Extremely good pastries but not so on the coffee. My daughters decaf mocha was so bland we went up a block and ordered another.
A. S.
We had custom made gingerbread created for a work event and they were an absolute hit. Sam who i dealt with was absolutely lovely and very accommodating and she followed the brief to a tee. The gingerbread not only looked good but tasted amazing. Definitely going to use at future events and for peoples birthdays. Best gingerbread in Sydney!
v. S.
This is a great little bakery right near the city. The staff are lovely and they do a fab soy hot chocolate! It's only a small space and since my last visit there are now a few extra tables inside. Some of the highlights are the panacotta lamington, the jam and custard donut and the chocolate salted caramel tart. It's always busy so get there early to avoid missing out on the more popular items.
J.
Pain aux raisins was very tasty but oh my gosh the service was so rude! Asked if they have any croissants, got a simple ‘no’ response so asked if they sold out, and was basically told off like a naughty child for being late- reminding me it’s nearly 1pm and they sold out at 9. She was rude, disinterested, almost charged me twice, and I left feeling angry and vow never to come back. My loss perhaps for missing out on their croissants but there are many other great bakeries around with great service, like Iggys and Brickfields. Finding a car park is also a nightmare.
(edit 2 to 3 stars) reply to owner: thank you for your reponse. Perhaps the staff were having a bad day or they were temp and not properly trained. A smile would have made a difference! Appreciate your generous offer. I will instead try come back again and hope for a nicer experience.
M. M.
Love the almond croissant! The lemon dream is a definite must have if you are visiting this place. Be prepared to queue up on a busy weekend! Worth the wait though!
B. K.
Had sandwiches and sweets - both were amazing quality. Service was quick and friendly, was even able to snag a table for two. Would plan to stay with any more people than that. The Lamington is every bit as good as it is rumored to be!!!
J. M. F.
AMAZING!!! We so love this place. When the girls need a lift I head across to grab them some of Nadine's goodies. Lemon drizzle cake a fave; chicken sandwich unmissable; Stu is in love with the nougat (all of them) and the pies are great. The coffee may well be good too. I wouldn't know though 'cos I've never any hands left to carry one. I drive across the Anzac bridge for this place. Just to see the smiles on everyones face when I return with the treats. So worth it!
T. M.
My absolute favourite cafe this side of Sydney for a small bite of something. Very small, so I wouldn't recommend a large group of people and definitely gets packed very quickly. The doughnuts are a winner as are their savoury treats. Definitely consider the wait if you're coming at peak hour times. KILLS ME that they are not open on Sundays as I live around the corner
M. L. (. S.
Nice little hidden secret where the older set goes for upscale coffee and bakery goods. Good for barista coffee and delicious lunches although wish there was a touch more seating -- hence takeaways is best for the local office set. Not the cheapest offer in the neighbourhood.
M. P.
Every visitor to Syd should check this place not just for sweets but great sausage rolls and spanikopita too
J. h.
Having just returned from Melbourne where I hauled into my mouth copious amounts of croissants from Australia’s most celebrated patisseries (think Lune Croissanterie and Agathé Pâtisserie), I can confidently assert that Flour and Stone’s Almond Croissant is deserving of the most praise. Why? Because it embodies the maxim “simplicity is key” so unashamedly, so flawlessly, so deliciously. An Almond Croissant ought not be stuffed with cream or doused in syrup, or be decorated with flamboyant concoctions of flaked almonds. Instead, it must be simple. Thank you, Four and Stone, for demonstrating what this truly means.
F.
Guess I probably ordered the wrong things, might need to go back for another try. But 100% loved the ambiance.
C. P.
Best bakery in Sydney by far! It's a small store and very hidden so not many people know about it. Cakes are super clean and they way they should be!
K. B.
Everything about Flour & Stone is good. From its owner, Nadine Ingram, the staff who are just as passionate, to the daily offerings. When food is made with love and a sense of fun, you can taste it in every bite. The shop is tiny, that’s how it is.
a. k.
Their pizzas are yummy had the Ortolana and Potato pizza. Monday to Thursday they have $16 Pizzas good deal.
P. H.
Lemon drizzle cake is excellent.
J. W.
One of my favourite breakky places around. Really lovely people, and always delicious food.
I. M.
Really enjoyed the baked goods here!
K. C.
Love love love this place! Great coffee! Fantastic lunch deals, the sweets are devine, and the atmosphere is great. It's a lovely spot to sit and read for a while or people watch. Highly recommend the chocolate raspberry tarte.
A. B.
Cute place, nice ambiance and the best croissant I've eaten in Australia. Keen to go back!
M. B.
Wasn't provided cutlery to butter my scone or eat my carrot cake with, had to use my fingers. Looked in the paper bag, wasn't even provided serviettes to clean my fingers with! Not a good first impression...
K. P.
Just the best bread and pastries, using the best flour, butter and ingredients. Now with an extra space next door.
P. H.
You wanna have the best lamingtons in Australia. You need to visit Flour and Stone. Loved it 😍
C. R.
Amazing bakery, the sweet and savoury options are awesome. The lamb pie is top of the list and the pastry on it is amazing. Service could be a little more friendly although that's picking things at an otherwise great local location.
M.
This place is popular for their lamingtons. Their pastries are beautiful. I've tried their hotcross buns few years back and it was just heaven! Must visit soon for Christmas goodies!
B. J.
Is give this place 6 stars if I could.
The embodiment of Australian coffee, not too formal, up for a chat but hands down the best food in Sydney.
If you want to see what happens when people clearly love what they do then come check this place out.
R. L.
F&S have redeemed themselves with exceptional delivery service and seriously the best ever Old Fashioned Vanilla sponge. You've got my vote.
Previous post:
appalling service...left a sour taste....my staff ordered and paid for a cake online....
D. D.
Friendly service, great range and its quality stuff. Lovely little place with great decor, even the menu was a little gem to behold.
G. K. L.
I'm a trained pastry chef and I tend to just make my own baked treats when I want them... but I am more than happy to throw my money at Flour & Stone because what they produce is FANTASTIC!
The pannacotta lamingtons are my everything, but I also love the sandwiches, the raspberry chocolate buttermilk cakes and the pies... oh the pies!!!
L. H.
This place is pure gold.
Food is so so scrumptious and super decadent.
People there are lovely too.
Cakes, desserts and everything on the table top is heaven sent goodness.
A. A.
Love the cinnamonbuns and the caneles here! The kouign-amann also tastes great. They've also got the best lamingtons I've ever had.
R. M.
My absolute favourite bakery in Sydney bar none. Love everything that comes out of this place. Great for breakfast on the weekends. Recommend the jam donuts, morning buns, minted pea galette and chai tea. They also have the most amazing panna cotta infused lamingtons... they are unlike anything on this planet!
A. “. R. L.
OMG I LOVE Flour and Stone. They could set up a lamington stall ALONE and that would be enough for me, but they have so many other delicious sweet things that I'm ALWAYS spoiled for choice even though I've been a customer since day one. Pro-tip don't try to squeeze into the cafe, grab takeaway and walk back up to Hyde Park for place to sit.
Great sweet and savoury pastries, FABULOUS staff and delicious coffee. A tiny gem in Woolloomooloo.
C.
Lamb pie is very good however I was really disappointed with the hot cross buns, extremely dry, lacking flavour and no raisins or orange peels. Not worth $4.5 each.
M. H.
Big fan of the brekky here, often busy but if you get in early it’s worth it. Delicious tarts and cakes, great coffee and people. Newly renovated so there is more room to sit.
V. N.
Great baked goods, just a bit pricey
G. C.
We had the most incredible gingerbread men custom made for an event, and they were brilliant! So much detail in the decorations, and extremely tasty too. Would definitely recommend them to add a 'wow' factor to an event.
F. C.
Amazing baked treats. Get in early to avoid disappointment!
v. w.
I first tried flour and stone at Gardeners Rd Market. I was first introduced to their marvelous lamb shank pie. Since then I had to visit their cafe in woolloomooloo which was close to my previous office. The cafe was cozy, small and the display of cakes and cookies made me want to buy them all! I had their jam filled doughnuts, lamington, salted caramel cake! All of them are oh so good!
Be sure to say hello to Nadine ( the owner) when you are there! You won't regret it!
R. L.
What can I say, alway a line up for some of the best pastries and cakes in Sydney. Renovation on the way so hopefully more people can enjoy this lovely food
m. s.
So much deliciousness coming out of such a small space. A lovely option for lunch in the city, grab a panini (and maybe a pastry or something sweet from the very attractive counter display for that mid-afternoon slump) and stroll over to the Domain.
A. A.
Popular bakery, mainly known for its sweet treats. The lamington is the star of the show. Also has a selection of delicious sandwiches, breads and serves coffee.
D. P.
It's always a surprise to come here. Friendly staff, great coffee and spectacular food, treats, cakes... This place just makes me keep coming back to try all different things they have.
R. L.
Place is run by hipsters...
Well I'm too old to know what a hipster is but everyone had
unnecessarily bushy beards, but not unkempt (kempt?).
So I'm calling hipster!
Anyhow food is great and plenty of different stuff to try.
I liked the coffee. Cannot remember what drink the kids had...
But they liked that too.
B. L.
Chicken pie tasted great. Lamb was yucky. Lemon cake got my mouth watering. However donut was yucky. Not much seating. Friendly and knowledgeable staff
D. K.
Have heard great things about this place and finally had a chance to go. I'm a huge lamington fan and since this was their specialty.... 1 word - yum! Not your traditional lamington - don't want to give anymore away so I'll let you work it out for yourself. Also got the hazelnut torte, jam drops and these gorgeous looking gingerbread cookies. Will be going back over and over again.
A. H.
Coffee was really good !! Treated myself with a raspberry brownie, to die for !! So so good. Pricey so won't make it an habit, but big pleasure
K.
I never met a slice of cake I didn’t love from this place. Everything is a heavenly mouthful.
Lemon dream, lemon drizzle and their famous lamingtons are not to be missed!
M.
Decent coffee, wide selection of tasty cakes.
J. T.
Cakes are always amazing, one of the best in Sydney. Staff are super friendly. Love this place
k. m.
$4 50 for a take away cup of tea. Very pricey plus staff not ovoverly friendly i had my puppy with mw and asked where i can tie her up and was told to tie her up on the lamppost in the end of the pavement basically less than an inch off the busy road. Even a customer who was sitting outside commented he wouldnt do that as its bot safe and offered to hold her so i could go in. Croissants delicious but service and price not so good.
J. T.
Bit of a line up during COVID times, but staff were friendly, efficient and cheery. Killer bread and baked goods. Parking is a bit hard though around here.
A. K.
Will always come back here for their chai tea. (It's legit tea rather than a chai latte, yay). Have had a number of their pastries as well and have had to keep myself from eating them in a day - and failed. Their creme brûlée was pretty spectacular. Have yet to eat here proper, would definitely do so though. Always a friendly face as well.
N. G.
The best lamington I've ever eaten! Excellent bakery with lovely service. A great range of delicious sweet or savoury pastries.
A.
Amazing fresh pastries and bread daily. Hands down best pain au chocolat and carrot cake I've ever had. Ever. Coffee fab too.
A. S.
A little hidden gem in Wooloomooloo. Best almond croisants in town (in my humble opinion ... and I've tried a lot), and the lamingtons are probably the best in town too.
Thanks for making such delicious pastries!
J. F.
This review is not referring to the coffee, which here is bitter and acrid. This is a review about some of the mpat delicious tarts, cakes and other delictable "sometimes" offerings in Sydney.
Whether you are after crisp buttery pastry, goey sweet/tart/creamy fillings, or moist sponge, this is where you'lll want to come.
T. T.
- Everyone loves the pastries and pies here. Golden and flaky best-seller pies
- Panna cotta lamington is a best seller for a reason - you wouldn't want to eat another type of lamington ever again after eating this lovely one from here, most other lamgintons won't compare.
- It's quite cosy though, not much space to sit.
- great variety of baked goods
M. R.
Changed menu this year so missing some of there best food like the flour and stone bowl. Good service and friendly. Coffee good in unique cups
R.
Speechless😍😍😍 The Lamingtons are out of this world, you won't find better Lamingtons in Sydney. Staff are very friendly and genuine, Thank you👏👏👏 ps anyone paying this fabulous establishment, you won't be disappointed!!!
E. E.
Love the zucchini rolls. Really great cakes. Fine coffee. Great place to stop off on the way to work in the morning.
L. C.
This place will give you that "life is bloody good" feeling
n. e.
Not the best almond croissant I've had but the lemon dream was yum
S. K.
While expensive, I cannot fault their croissants and coffee. The crumpets are sweet and delicious and I can see why they need to expand because this place is great
J. B.
The fine apple tart is a must try at this gorgeous little bakery, with its slightly savoury base and layers of caramelised apple as are the delicious ginger breads made with real stem ginger. The panna cotta soaked lamington is moist and moreish. They serve some great savoury tarts and pies here too, so expect to come away feeling full.
C. W.
The best chocolate brownie I have ever tasted, a gorgeous selection of breads and cakes, and a funky urban location - Flour and Stone is one of the top bakeries in Sydney.
S. D.
My daughter was absolutely delighted with her cake . Her words ,the cake looked incredibly and tasted amazing!
Thank you so much
Salama from New Zealand
S. W.
This place is the business. You can tell it's run by people who just love what they do and are passionate about quality. Can't go past the nougat, anzac cookies and the chicken sandwich is out of this world! Ordered the old fashioned vanilla cake for a 70th birthday and everyone in love with it - from 5 year olds to 75 year olds. Gotta give the lemon drizzle cake a wrap too - it's divine and full of nostalgia. If none of this grabs you, grab a pie (they're pretty damn fine indeed).
P. S.
I can't say enough. The coiffed was outstanding. The pastry is like you are in France. Everything was top-shelf. I can't wsit to go back. This place is not to be missed.
A. S.
Lucky enough to have this place right around the corner from where I work, which is both a blessing and a curse (it's totally a blessing, I'm a sweet tooth in denial).
Whenever anyone in the office is feeling like a 3pm sugar hit, Flour & Stone is the only place that will help us get our fix. Our office favourites are the vanilla cake (it will change your life), chocolate flourless cake, canelles, apple tart and doughnuts.
If I've had one too many champagnes at a work function, I pop in first thing the next day and grab a strong coffee and a zucchini bun...toasted...with butter. Words cannot justify how good all of this is, you'll have to try it yourself!
S. L.
They have the best lamington and pies in Sydney. It is so hearty and flavoursome. Only problem is trying to find a seat however word on the street says they will be rennovating soon.
I. A. O.
Very good coffee and lamington cake. A very cozy place to have lunch, they serve very good salads and sandwiches. There is also a good variety of desserts
L. h.
The coffee and cake is great there. Love to buy coffee there every morning until one of the gentleman who makes the coffee starting to act weirdly towards me. That was last time i went there
B. F.
Try the lamingtons and the lemon drizzle cake. They do pre-orders and delivery on the website too, and have edible gingerbread plaques for messages.
K. B.
Honestly the best hot cross buns I’ve ever had - they were still fresh out of the oven when I bought them. Regret buying only 6!!
A. H.
Incredible cakes, different selection everyday! Best lamb pie I've ever had. Not to be missed!
B. B.
Food was delicious and fresh. Coffee was sweet and balanced (I had the batch brew). Store is small but cozy. Friendly staff.
S.
My favourite bakery in Sydney! There's often a line but it's well worth the wait.
S. S.
Worth the wait in line - lamington is a must!
J. J.
Enjoy every visit to this amazing bakery. Quality food and friendly service. What else you'd ask for!
I. L.
LOVE this place- amazing pastries and cakes. Great coffee. Very friendly service and a very lovely atmosphere
C.
If I could rate 10 stars I would, everything about this place is awesome. Pastries, cakes, sandwiches and coffee all on another level and the staff are really friendly and helpful!
R. B.
The pinnacle of perfect baked goods. Zucchini bun and almond croissants are out of control
P.
Just incredibly well made and very tasty cakes, muffins and croissants. The lamingtons are sensational. Friendly and helpful service!
J.
GOOD COFFEE.
GOOD PASTRIES.
GOOD SERVICE.
B. Y.
Their hot chocolate was amazing and just the perfect balance between dark chocolate butternedd and sweetness. Their cakes were a bit too rich for me, maybe not for the elderly?
W. D.
Service was excellent! All the baked goods were delish! Coffee was mediocre. Love a place that makes everything themselves..
B. P.
I had a Vegetable Ratatouille and chocolate raspberry cake/pudding and everything was exceedingly amazing ~ would definitely recommend ~ ! You may find the prices high (or maybe low) - but I was so happy with the food, I would think it was worth it ~
E. D.
My favourite bakery in Sydney. Lamigtons amd Chocolate Croissants are at the top of my list
D. D.
The dilemma is that there are too many things to choose from. The triumph is when we order almost everything on the menu and devour our way through one serve at a time. Rhubarb & ricotta tart was light and guilt-free (so we convinced ourselves). Raspberry drop was melt-in-your-mouth goodness that had to be smeared all over the fingers or hoovered in at once. Panna cotta filled lamingtons... well we weren't quick enough to order them, were we? But we know a revisit is a definite so hasta la vista, bebe!
J. W.
Legendary local spot for coffee and cakes
J. S.
Amazing bakery, expect a line that extends out the door and get in early if you want to have your choice of freashly baked goods.
J. K.
Good desserts and coffee :)))
S. J.
The best cakes and pies around. Gets a bit busy at lunchtime but I guess thats because its so good. Best laminations in Sydney.
A. F.
Can enjoy great sweet desserts here. Food quality never changed! As tasty as ever..
J. P.
Love their tasty cakes and pastries!! Great service.
P. L.
Lamb pie. 5 stars. Amazing crust. Only croissant around to hold a candle to Brickfields - thick crusty shell, springy interior.
E. Y.
Lamington cake is amazing!
A. e.
Scone and pear Tarte Tatin is amazing!!!!! Just disappointed by the canele I tried, too sticky outside and sticked on my tooth...
S. J.
Lovely, little coffee shop and bakery with really really yummy cakes and sweets. Great coffee and lovely staff, owner/operator vibes.
G. D.
Great sweets and savoury food, nice coffee, very friendly staff but usually very very crowded (at peak times) so hard to dine in... Sometimes you can't even get inside to order!
M. I.
Please bring back the roule pesto :(
A. F.
Delicious treats and friendly staff. A must visit for lovers of baked items. The lamington is essential tasting.
W. N.
You have to try their products to believe how tasty they are! I highly recommend the avocado toast and lamington!
Coffee is also very good!
m. l.
Love the food and the staffs were nice and friendly. Will definitely visit again
Z. M.
They soak their lamingtons in panacotta. They're moist and sweet and they've got a really solid heft in your hand. Of course you need to try one.
P. C.
Quite a cramped little store, but the baked goods are outstanding. The Lamingtons are particularly brilliant.
K. S.
everything here is amazing - the sweet, the savoury, drinks - and the service, everything is good. My go to is always the chocolate hazelnut loaf - cant get enough of it.
D. G.
Probably the best viennoiserie you will ever find in Australia. The cakes are also fantastic, especially the Victoria sandwich.
W. C.
The pastries r excellent! Not too sweet, so many to choose from. But the coffee is a bit strong for me.
A. H.
Wholesome carrot cake, lamington, apple tart fine and lemon dream cake the best i have ever had. Love this place!
C. N.
Spectacular Cafe - not to be missed. The treats here are a treat to anyone with a sweet tooth. Absolutely Perfectly done.
P. F.
Fantastic produce, excellent coffee and friendly service - our family love this place. You won’t be disappointed!
A. T.
It's great, tiny and parking is terrible, but the eats are incredible and coffee is good. Madelines, lemon drizzle and lamingtons are great.
j. c.
It was an awful salad of nothing but onions, fried onions, caramelised onions topped with fresh sliced onions with a dash of lemon. Sausage roll was on the okay side with a soggy bottom.
P. V.
The best cakes in Sydney and pretty good coffee. Just wish they were open on Sundays.
K.
My favourite bakery in town. They have the best French croissant
B. J. T.
Had a zucchini and Gruyère roll that was pretty damn amazing. Warm and freshly baked. I wished I'd bought another as I'd already scoffed it before I'd walked home.
C. M.
Small gem. Delicious cakes. Strongly advised!
S. L.
They serve the best lamingtons in Sydney. Hands down the best. Also they coffee is legit too
S. L.
I had the granola and a hazelnut torte, both were incredible. I'll definitely be coming back here to try more things!
A. F.
Best bakery - best cakes - my fave sweet spot - hands down.
C. W.
Fast service given the queues, everything is delicious, lamingtons are as good as they sound. Truly excellent bakery.
A. K.
The eat in experience is not great. The shop is tiny and generally overcrowded. I would suggest passing on breakfast and instead grad some pastries to go.
b. L.
Delicious pies, scrumptious selection of cakes and pastries. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff.
C. M.
Amazing!!! The panna cotta lamingtons are actually one of my favourite desserts!!!
A. M.
The best chocolate croissant you'll ever eat. And other things too. Everything. Delicious!
R. D.
Staff were exceptional and very friendly. Would highly recommend! Coffee was also fab!
J. S.
One of very favorite places for coffee and cake in Sydney. Dining space is very limited however.
I. B.
One of my favorite cafes. Organic, taste food, small, always friendly staff. Highly recommend.
S. K.
Great local for pastries and cakes, all home made onsite. I recommend the Pain au raison (Raison snail) and Pear and ricotta muffin.
M. M.
Oh wow!!!!! The coffee!!! Hot cross bun, lemon cake, pie!!... all amazing!! Definitely worth a visit.
A. M. T.
does the humble aussie lamington get any better than this?!? been going here for couple years now. keep up the high standards!
C. R.
Fast service. Very tasty pastries. This is a excellent value for money. An excellent hand gift.
K. R.
Outstanding. Lamingtons, lemon drizzle and chocolate and hazelnut cake are delicious. As is just about everything else here.
V. K.
An incredible bakery with passionate people. The lamington is a must have. And everything else too.
F. Q.
Best bakery in Sydney although the staff could be more friendly.
b. t.
There are not enough nice things to say about this place.. everything that comes out of their oven is amazing, especially the buttery croissants
S. C.
Delicious expensive baked goods for the Mummy crowd. Lamb pie was very tasty, tender and chunky.

Apple tart was perfectly flaky, sweet, and I compliment the apple slices which add extra layers for a snack
C. V.
An all time favourite! Small and cosy, with menu selections to die for. Guaranteed to wow a guest!

L. M.
Insanely gorgeous treats to eat! Great coffee super friendly cheery staff :)
D. O.
Excellent cakes and desserts. Soooo nice! Really friendly staff too.

A. F.
Great bakery. Super nice staff! Get the crumpets.
D. M.
Awesome coffee and don't go past the Panna Cotta Lamigton! To die for!
