Next level bakery, the food from here is sssoooo good. Heard a rumour the baker did his time at Guests in Wollongong and it shows in some of the awesome cakes. Pies are awesome and the baked custard tart is so good. Yet to have a single bad thing from the bakery. For the coffee drinkers the coffee is great they tell me. The chicken they do is top shelf as well.

A community orientated bakery out in the small village of Hilltop. A special lamb’s fry pie was on offer for Pie Time in June. This is definitely an acquired taste, but a unique pie should you want to try it! The classic beef pie was awesome. A no-nonsense pie you’d crave while watching a game of footy. Prices are reasonable and the staff are lovely. there is plenty of room to sit down and take a moment to enjoy a pie or indeed any other of the wide array of pastries available. Everything in the bakery is very tasty and worth it to try. The staff are friendly and helpful and food or drinks is prepared quite quickly.

This place is always amazing. Staff are super friendly and always welcome customers with a smile. Lots of food options whether you want hot or cold food or just a little snack for throughout the day. Same with coffees and other drinks. Always well made and super delicious. Highly recommend coming here if you havent before or to keep coming here if you have. Love y'all.

The best bread, pies and sausage rolls in the Highlands all baked fresh in house. Soooo many varieties including sour dough, my personal favorite. Superb coffee and great food and very friendly staff.

I do not like to criticise any business but when staff lie to cover up their own failings and incompetence that I cannot accept. ..Admit the mistake, ...don't lie? …. I planned to be a regular purchaser of their pastries, I met with their owner and discussed their product range and what I was planning to do …. The owner said there was no problem and recommended that I should order in advance so they could make what I needed …, great to this point… The first order I placed no one knew about it but when I called in I was able to fill most of what I wanted from their display. …It was suggested that next time I should order the day before, ..which I did the following week and indicated that this would now be my standard order each week. When I arrived around 4.30pm to pick up my order, both staff members did not know anything about my order and just looked at each other, ….I had not time to wait, I just said to them to sort out my order and have it read for the next day, they were my exact words. ..I left in a bit of a huff as I had just wasted 20klms to pick up an order that no one knew anything about. When I arrived at work, I thought it might be best to call them and make sure they had my order. …I explained to the girl my frustration and why I left in a huff, as I had to be at work to relieve one of my staff members and to arrive there, .. and for my order not to be ready and to not even be able to fill my order from their display just amplified my disappointment and wasted time. I had a fairly lengthy chat with the girl that served me regarding my disappointment, the details of my order, a review of their pastry lines and what I was doing with it in my Cafe. ..She was fine about everything and promised my order would be ready for me the next day. The next day I arrive to pickup my order, ..I am handed a phone with the owner on the other end telling me he is not prepared to sell to me as I was abusive to his staff, …I had not raised my voice, I only said for them to sort my order and to have it ready for the pickup the next day and walked out????? I would not recommend any person to make advance bookings with this patisserie unless you are prepared to be disappointed, ..excuses and lies seem to be the recipe for their incompetence, …I thought they produced pastry? Their pastry is well presented and deserves about 8 out of 10 but their custards have not body, they are too thin, lack color and your likely to wear it if you do not eat with a plate, one bite of a Vanilla Slice and all the custard is in the palm of your hand.. so the overall rating is a “6”

Awesome place i make a point of stopping in of im in the area. Plenty of good things to eat and seems to be always fresh from the oven which i think is pretty incredible.

Good fresh bread ... nice staff ...support local businesses .. try the chicken ... or we will lose another bakery like thirlmere. If you want something from this bakery ask for it they will be happy to help ...
