S. K.Really great sausage rolls. Remind me of how they used to be made. Huge. Meaty. Peppery. They also do an excellent, authentic, banh mi. Please ask for extra chilli.

As much as Bourke street bakery has become a cornerstone for surry hills barkeries.
Sometimes you just want that old school Australiana pie and sausage roll, you used to get as a kid from the corner store (country kids you will know what I mean).
For people who are wanting that, minus the eye-rolling wait lines. This is the place for you!
The sausage rolls are thick, flavoursome and hefty; the perfect meal on the go.
Then for the pies, my personal favourite being the cheese and bacon, it's just so dam good!
Followed by the peppery chunky steak pie, which will take you back to the days when it’s 05:00 AM, as you get up to go to your first football match. You feel the cold sticking to you but then you have this pie and not help but feel a wave of warmth envelop you.
Nostalgia will hit you here, at this killer little spot and if that doesn't try the banh mi.
