Large variety of outstanding pies. Have tried most of them over the years and they are all delicious. I especially like the chili beef. I think the coffee is pretty good, too.

Little pockets of goodness. Had the pepper pie and it was a perfect blend of mince, gravy and spice. Very delicious!! Love the unique pastry style too.

We found this lovely shop at randomly. We had a beef bacon cheese pie and sausage roll. The woman who took our order was very friendly. It was the best pastry ever, fluffy, flaky not doughy, and the sausage was so meaty and flavoursome! However, we were charged $9.50 on our card. It was a bit more than we saw on the price list. But, not a big deal. It was the best pie without a doubt. We’ll definitely stop by again and try different pies! Thank you!

Easily the best pies I've had the pleasure of eating, The pepper, Diane and Guinness were all fantastic. Would recommend anyone passing through or near Wardell give them a go. Shame they haven't made it to Brisbane yet.

We went to the cafe next door, which is their outlet . The cafe is not flash, or 5 star so don't expect it, but the pies are . What a fascinating, creative variety of pies, I have never set eyes on some of the creations. This place is just stunning , just be prepared to eat around the corner, looking at the river. The scenery is a great backdrop .

These are the best pies anywhere, hands down. The pastry is fresh and baked perfectly. There is an enormous range, and although i like some flavours more than others, they are all gourmet. I honestly can't believe some people have given 1 star ratings because you were short on stock, i view it as a plus as I always know they are fresh. I think it is an awesome feat to create such a great product in regional nsw. Good on you.

Stopped in after hearing about the pies here. Absolutely worth a small detour, delicious and filling pies for a fair price at a lovely local location. Excellent pastry and tasty fillings, we ended up buying more as they were so good. Will definitely come again on our next journey past wardell!

One of the best tasting pies I've ever had, not going to lie they seemed a bit smaller than ya average pie but the flavour was so delicious it made up for it, I could have eaten two or possibly 3 ;) they also have a big variety of different flavours, salads and sandwiches etc..

Lovely service, polite and nice people. Good, quality food made and served with love by family people who have been a part of the town nearly as long as the shop has. I remember coming home from the beach as a child and picking up fish and chips from here 35 yeas ago and the place still looks and feels the same.

Lots of places claim to be "famous" for their pies, this place just makes great pies. A couple of my faves are the spinach and feta pie, and the mexican roll (with sour cream). They also have a lentil pie, and a vegetarian pie, plus all the regular types.
