BEST WEDDING CATERER EVER!!!! We chose Cargo Catering Co. to cater our wedding in Nov 2021. Even our guests were blown away with the style, presentation and taste of the food. Not only were we given such a wide range of selection, but the staff & chef's were always willing to adjust minor ingredients to suit all our guests. We would suggest Cargo to those wanting a fun and flavoursome menu. Big shout out to Tamarin - not only did she help make everything run smoothly, but she checked in with us every step of the way (even after the honeymoon). Cargo were incredible throughout the whole process of our wedding day. They were accommodating to all our needs, and so easy to communicate with. As a vegetarian bride, I was looked after so well and we had so many compliments from guests about the food! The staff were so lovely they made our day so special, can't recommend enough!

Our wedding was weeks ago and people are still gushing about how much they loved the food! My partner and I were initially drawn to Cargo’s Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours and their ‘share table feast’ option. We were thrilled that the Cargo team was still able to create the vibrant banquet we’d imagined, despite COVID restrictions, without sacrificing anyone’s safety. Our Event Coordinator Tamarin was a pleasure to work with - warm and responsive with a ‘can-do’ attitude; and the staff on the day were friendly, efficient and professional. Cargo also has an exceptional range of plant-based options which I’d encourage everyone to try, regardless of whether you’re a meat-eater or not. Their spiced beetroot and roast garlic arancini with lemon aioli and kale crisp live rent-free in my mind, and our veggie guests have said how nice it was to be able to share the mains with everyone. We also had a few guests with unusual food intolerances (who is allergic to bananas?!?) and Cargo handled them with ease. I would recommend Cargo to cater any occasion, without reservation.

Hi Rosie & Team! We cannot say THANK YOU enough to you and your amazing team!! Honestly, it was hands down the best wedding food we have ever had. We got countless compliments and people absolutely raving about it on the night and the next day. Everyone said they were absolutely full to the brim with delicious food, which was one of our concerns having a cocktail style wedding - people not eating enough but you guys definitely catered for our food loving crowd! John especially would like to say a huge thanks for the sliders - they were by far his favourite on the night and the fact you guys catered for that special request was outstanding to us and made our wedding feel more “us”. The service of the staff was absolutely impeccable, from coming around to us personally and offering us food - even though often we didn’t take it because we were running around like headless chooks, we so appreciated the diligence and service. The toastie bar was absolutely epic, I definitely dug into one of those while in my wedding dress and was still eating it while dancing it was that good haha! We took home all the bridal party platter and gnocchi that you left us in the cottage that we missed out on unfortunately due to time and was amazing having dinner sorted for Sunday night. You guys absolutely knocked it out of the park for two people that are food obsessed! Thanks again!

Absolutely incredible caterers. Cargo did our wedding catering and Rosie made the entire process so easy, even having to bring in all equipment and cook outdoor with little to no utility connection. All the food was outstanding - every canapé, the lamb, chicken, side dishes, salad - who even knew you could make lettuce taste so good. The team were so lovely on the day and easy going - we couldn't have been happier with our choice of caterer. If you need an event catered and they're available there's really no choice to make, they are worth every penny. I can't wait to have find excuse to book these guys again in the future.

Cargo catered for our wedding and were amazing to work with in the lead up, making it all so easy and Rosie was super efficient on email and very accomodating. We received lots of amazing reviews about the food at our wedding from our guests! We went with roaming canapes and entrees and had shared mains and sides. There was plenty of food and noone was hungry. They happily catered for all of our guests dietary requirements. They ensured everyone was well fed and saved canapes for the bridal party who arrived later, which was appreciated. Lots of our guests said it was the best food they'd had at a wedding! Couldn't be happier with our choice of caterers and would recommend working with them.

The Team at Cargo Catering are incredible! Constantly going above and beyond to craft incredible menus for all the couples whose wedding's I've photographed, and there's been a few! They always take such good care of me when we work together at weddings and so I know they're taking even better care of all the guests they're serving. Incredibly passionate for what they do too. They were so helpful when our event was effected by Covid, and they were always communicative, helpful and friendly. And we loved the food! Cargo catered our wedding in the middle of coronavirus complications and worked so hard to help us have a perfect day. They were always friendly, very responsive, very flexible, very transparent about costs and services, and genuinely excited about our big day. They also worked with us to create a menu and a service that would fit with the current Covid restrictions. The food was completely delicious, multiple guests specifically commented on how great it was, and our vegetarians were just as happy as the meat eaters. And there was so much of it! We had roaming canapes/entrees followed by seated mains, then Italian/French pastries for dessert, THEN later a toastie bar which in hindsight was probably TOO MUCH but we would do it again. Delicious. The Cargo team were all wonderful and it's easy to tell they love what they do. Would (and already have) highly recommend!

We cannot recommend Cargo enough! Our wedding was cancelled in the November 2020 lockdown and all the Cargo staff were so generous, dedicated and hardworking in helping us to pull it altogether for the day the lockdown finished! With very little notice they pulled off absolutely amazing meals for nearly 100 guests with lots of dietary requirements! We had canapés, entrees and roaming mains, and their desert churros fiesta was a fan favourite! Rosie and the staff are so hard working and a pleasure to work with the whole was through 2020 and all the difficult changes due to COVID - we couldn't have done it without them. They even sourced equipment last minute because of the lockdown. I would highly recommend them for any event and I hope I get to have their food at another wedding! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts <3

Cargo catered our wedding earlier this month (October 2019). They were responsive to emails, transparent with pricing, offered interesting and flexible menus (which were updated frequently :D) and services. Importantly, on the night the food was excellent quality, on time and plentiful! A lot of my friends are real foodies, and all were impressed. Some even kept Cargo's branded napkins so they could pass them onto friends and family planning their own weddings/events! We had a small reception, <80 people including kids, about 8 had special dietary needs (vegan, vegetarian, coeliac, and other allergies), Cargo were really cool about working with us on that and they provided special meals for all who needed. A big thank you to Rosie and all the other girls and boys at Cargo!

Party People Stop spending hours searching for catering companies. You have found the very best in SA! I have done the research for you and already spent those hours searching! We had Cargo cater for our wedding on the weekend 22/2/20 at Kings Beach Retreat. The first thing people said to me after the wedding was that food was AMAZING and this is the first comments I got fro everyone! Going into the wedding I knew I had three things to get right music, drinks and the food. From the menu choices to the service and everything in between Cargo is seriously 10/10 can not fault the anything about this company. Cargo catered our wedding this week and were absolutely fantastic. We went for the share table option and the atmosphere of people passing around plates and enjoying amazing food was a great start to the reception. The mains of pomegranate and holoumi stuffed chicken, and braised pork neck were delicious. Cargo also provided great vegan and gf plates separately and ensured that guests with dietary requirements were served at the same time and didnt miss out. Side dishes were also all delicious. It was an amazing meal and many guests commented that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. To top it off the late night toastie station was a great talking point and got different groups of guests to mingle and enjoy a late night snack. Cargo handled the catering for our wedding on 15/12/2018 and the food was amazing. They organised a grazing station for our guests and then cocktail/roaming entrees afterwards. We received so many positive comments from everyone on how delicious the food was. The pork belly, gnocchi, aranchini balls and chicken wings were the favorites! Given my husband and I love our food, it was very important to us that our guests had a variety of food but also had enough so they were not left hungry. This wasn’t something we needed to worry about with Cargo. The team were so easy to work with and we couldn’t be more grateful to them for all the hard work. If we have another event, whether that be at work or personally, I will be using them again!

Hired Cargo Catering (& the beverage service sister company Speakeasy Hotel) for January 2019 wedding. Fantastic ladies to work with. Top quality food, variety of food choices & styles of delivery. We had a "generous grazer" & it lived up to its name. All our guests were wowed & satisfied by selection, quality & portions. Presentation was superb! Truffle Mac n Cheese, Chicken & Chorizo Empanades were a hit! They even helped dress our very late arriving wedding cake on the day. The staff on the day were very friendly, efficient & professional. I hired Cargoe Catering for my 70th (July 2019). From the beginning, they were easy to work with, had good communication and were very professional. At the party, they went above and beyond, helping out with drinks on the guests’ arrival, unobtrusively making everyone feel welcome and so much more. The food was magnificent and people raved about it, plus we had plenty of leftovers so no one went hungry! 😋 Their work ethic and organisation was above my expectations! I was very impressed!
