Sunday 30 September I hosted a presentation dinner for competitors, their family and volunteers who attended a national championships. This was the finale to a huge weekend of sporting activity where competitors were competing for Australian team selection. It was critical for all who attended to have a great experience. The Golden Roast Canberra really delivered! The whole process was hassle free, the quality, food and taste were fantastic and the service was nothing short of excellent. I selected the Big Buffet which comes with a lot of choices. Some of what I chose doubled up. They noticed this, then phoned me and provided some suggestions. Really appreciated this as it added value to the service. They turned up on time, set up, laid everything out beautifully, the presentation was immaculate. As people walked in, the usual reaction was WOW. After everyone was full and content, they cleaned and packed up leaving no sign that a large group of hungry people had just been fed an amazing spread of food. I received overwhelming positive comments about the food from attendees. From my experience I highly recommend The Golden Roast Canberra. I will be booking them again next year.

Golden Roast recently catered for my husband's & my joint 60th birthday party. We had over 100 guests so decided to have Golden Roast do everything to make the evening easier for us!! Nibbles, mains & desserts plus a barman to serve all of our drinks until 10 pm!! Golden Roast even helped us with the contact for a band when our original band fell through!! The party went without a hitch! The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful & looked so smart in their Golden Roast uniforms! The food was delicious!! Fresh salads & roast vegetables, Pork & Lamb that melted in your mouth, along with the table centre piece, a whole salmon cooked to perfection! Then while we were dancing - the food was all cleared away & the left overs packaged up for us - they came in very handy the next day when our interstate visitors stayed for lunch at our place!! I have had so many of my friends ring me for the Golden Roast contact details, (Oh! & the band's) so they too can have a party!! Speaks for itself really doesn't it??! Thank you so much Golden Roast for making our party one we & our friends will never forget!! :)

We recently used the team at the Golden Roast to cater for our sit down lunch function at the Uni-Norths Owls Rugby Club. Everything was so easy - from the booking process (thanks for being flexible and giving us as much time as possible to lock in our numbers) to the staff who turned up on time and were super friendly to the amazing food. Golden Roast's quality and flavour is second to none. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I recently used The Golden Roast Canberra at my yearly golf event to cater for 216 people. Phil, Rochelle, Bruce and the team were so very accommodating, delivering a wonderful meal with no fuss! Bruce arrived with his team and went about getting things prepared as if it were the most basic of jobs! The meat was absolutely delicious, we received many compliments throughout the day. The salads and vegetables were also fantastic! Golden Roast were very easy to deal with, they delivered a great meal at a very good price. I know where I will be going for next year's event! Golden Roast were fantastic. We also hired staff through Golden Roast to set up and man the bar. The staff were so hard working - they didn't stop for close to 12 hours. They really went above and beyond to overcome some unforeseen venue issues that could gave very easily been disastrous. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it.

We use golden roast for our wedding on the 3rd november at Fernleigh park in googong and they were absolutely fantastic! I cant remember the names of girls that did the service but it was a mother and daughter and they did a great job. They were very accommodating and made that part of the day run so smoothly. We received many compliments on how great the food was, particularly the whole spit roast pig which was cooked to perfection. Well done ladies. Highly recommend.

Thankyou to Phil and the team from the Golden Roast Canberra. We had these guys cater with the wedding banquet option for 130 people in a backyard wedding in Central West NSW. Even with the travel fee their value for money was unbeatable by local companies. These guys are so easy to deal with; they had so much availability as they are equipped to cater for many events each weekend. Nothing was ever a fuss for them including changing times of meals slightly etc. The best part was not having to do a single thing for the meals! Just provide them a place to set up and they do the rest. We received lots of compliments on the meals and there were not many leftovers as lots of people went back for seconds! Desserts were amazing too. We would definitely recommend these guys, and would not hesitate in getting them again for our next function. Thankyou again team! Gabrielle and Karl

We have used Golden Roast Canberra a couple of times, for functions at our house, most recently for my father's surprise 70th Birthday Party. All of the guests absolutely loved the food and kept going back for more. Bruce, the staff member who did our function was well presented, friendly and very efficient. He arrived at the time promised and chatted to all of the party guests. I would not hesitate to recommend Golden Roast Canberra to anyone organising a function, especially in your home. To be able to relax and also mingle with guests without having to cook, serve or clean up is the biggest attraction!! And the food is delicious.
