I contacted Catering By Chefs in urgent need of a replacement for catering which had fallen through just a few days out from my event. Phil couldn't have been better to deal with. He quickly assured me they would help, and help he and his team sure did. Within a few days their team got creative and got busy organising the 500 desert items for my event. My guests and I couldn't have been happier with what we received, they were raving about how tasty the food was, and it looked absolutely gorgeous too. Absolute divine seafood platter feast prepared by the team for both my friends birthday party! Very generous when it comes to the varieties as well. We did enjoy the platter so much. Phil has been very accommodating and patience with all the inquiries and changes due to lockdown. Will definitely go back for any occasions in the future :D

Catering By Chefs catered for our wedding outside of Melbourne near Daylesford at our family property and it was just incredible. The communication with Phil, Katie our chef who we personally requested as she cooked at our friends party was so lovely so work with and such a beautiful cook. Everything flowed smoothly and they were so professional with the quality of the food, the presentation, their uniforms and time management. They left our kitchen in such tidy condition as well. We also had very generous servings of food which kept us going the next few days with our family. We highly recommend Catering by Chefs for any of your catering needs and will definitely use them again in future.

I had a Christmas party for fifty at home. I had one meeting with Phil and the group where we sampled the menu I loved the fact that they were happy to work with me if I wanted more of something or less of something else. They contacted me several times before especially in the week before to go through things. Also I had two guests with major allergies no problems for Phil and crew they prepared separate food. On the night the food was sensational. I have used caterers before but this food was a something else. My guests couldn’t stop raving. Their only protest was there is so much but they ate it all!!! Some caterers I have used they count so many pieces per guest and we all felt hungry. Not Phil and crew. I will be using them again many times. I can not recommend them them highly enough the star of the night is Phil’s beautiful daughter who works with him. Great job guys.

We hired Catering By Chefs for our wedding in January 2020. They came in and set up efficiently. They were very good with a positive service and cleanliness. Very efficient and many compliments on the food from us and our guests. They looked after us all very well. Prior to the event they made sure they met all of our needs and dietary requirements and some things we hadn’t thought of before hand. Very thorough. No complaints here. The catering was absolutely wonderful. I work full-time and I left it all up to 'Catering by Chefs' . It was my 70th Birthday Party at my home. My guests raved about the food and I knew their words were genuine because I could feel their words were meaningful. I cannot compliment Catering by Chefs more: starting with a choice of food( and there was plenty of it!) to professionalism and punctuality of staff. I needed an upmarket but affordable caterer for my 40th Birthday and after conducting a prelimary search on google I came across Catering by Chefs. Choosing Phil and his crew was the best decision I made. After meeting Phil in person and doing a taste session, I knew straight away that they were the right people for the job. The menu was a perfect combination of hot and cold food suited to the venue and the needs of the guests. There was plenty to go around and the ladies looking after the guests on the day were an absolute delight to work with. In addition, Phil also sorted out a yummy cake for the occasion. Phil provided accurate, honest advice on how much finger food works best for functions and pointers on how to provide a great variety. The pumpkin arancini were amazing and hands down my favourite with the pulled pork rolls a close second. The mini burgers were the crowd favourite! Natalie our waitress and Neil our chef were both delightful and made everything so easy! We actually had another caterer booked for our lunch but I didn’t feel confident with them and decided to change last minute (six days before our event) - best decision! Catering by Chefs provided the catering for our stand up wedding function of approximately 100 people and our entire experience with them has been first class: From our initial contact with Phil, whom we found to be extremely knowledgeable and easy going. During our food taste testing, he not only helped us choose a great combination of finger food, but also ensured we had enough food items for our event. He was very accommodating with his time in putting together a quote that was just right for us. To Megan (hopefully we have spelt her name correctly) and the 3 wait staff on the day - they arrived at the venue on time, which was great because it put our minds at ease that everything was going to be set up with time to spare. They were extremely friendly, assisted with cutting and serving our wedding cake, and packed up the kitchen to perfection. We received lots of positive feedback from our guests regarding Catering by Chefs and we are sure this is due to the quality of food and staff that were on hand for the event. Nothing speaks more highly to this than the fact that all the food was eaten on the day - we actually over catered and there were still no leftovers! We highly recommend Catering by Chefs to cater for any of your party functions. We will most definitely keep their contact details handy for future events!

This was the first time we used caterers. I'll never try and do it myself again. They were prompt, polite, the food was incredible and plenty of it, and the kitchen was left spotless afterwards. I recommend them unconditionally and several of our guests asked for their number before leaving. My advice is to trust them when they say there will be enough food - we had teenage boys at our function and they were full! Excellent team.

The dishes were freshly prepared in our kitchen - this is not the heated frozen party pie variety. Definitely recommended as a stress free way to put on a good spread for your guests.

Dear Phil, Thank you for the excellent catering provided at my 60th Birthday Party. We opted for the 12 piece canapé selection and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious, plentiful and beautifully presented. The crumbed scallops, the Aranchini balls and the cups of mini fish and chips were especially popular. Everyone said the food was wonderful. Your offer to prepare two “special” meals; one for a Vegan and the other for a Fructose intolerant guest was greatly appreciated.
