The team at Ed Dixon Food Design were incredible! They were so down to earth and worked with me to create the perfect event. Hosted a Christmas party in December for approx. 50 ppl. Ed Dixon Food Design and the team were super flexible in coming up with some options for us and were really easy to make changes as we got closer to the event. The food was great, and we had lots of good feedback from guests about it. The team onsite were amazing, keeping everyone looked after. They cleaned up everything when they left and came back to pick up the glassware the following day so we could continue the festivities. I'd highly recommend them and would happily use the team again. Thanks.

Fantastic Food and Fantastic service! I will employ the services of Ed Dixon Food design again. I rang from interstate to organise a recovery breakfast for international guests on the morning after my daughter's wedding. From the very first conversation I had the staff could not have been more helpful. They quickly understood and responded to my requirements. There were plenty of options, but they made very helpful suggestions about quantity and type of food. They coped very well with some hiccups on our part (host was still out partying when the caterers needed access to set up) they problem solved and we got the job done. And then I messed up the bank transfer for payment and they were very polite and understanding.... But the food! did I mention the food? Lots of variety, fresh and delicious gorgeously presented options for hungry young men and picky multi allergic eaters and all delicious. The wait staff got on with the job in a friendly and efficient manner and we could just relax and enjoy precious time with loved ones from near and far. We could not have asked for more. Ed Dixon Food Design are the best and just in case you're wondering if I am related or something and this is just a con job, it isn't. I'm a stupidly busy person from Far North Queensland who just wanted a lot of help setting up a breakfast. I rang a few caterers around Collingwood and Fitzroy several didn't return my call, but one who did but told me they couldn't meet my requirements and recommended Ed Dixon Food Design and we didn't look back!

Ed Dixon catered out wedding and we couldnt have been happier. The food was absolutely superb (not one guest had anything but rave reviews to give), timings were on point and our brief was followed to a tee. Sarah and Lisa managed operations and coordinated small details on the night and they were amazing! I had some special requests and they were beyond accomodating. They created a feasting table to meet my vision and it was a work of art. Do yourself a favour and order the truffle brie!

We were lucky enough to have Ed manage and cater our wedding in Nov 2013, and we cannot recommend EDFD highly enough! Ed and her team really went above and beyond our expectations not only in the lead-up/planning stage, but also on the day and everything ran seamlessly. Having a cocktail-style wedding we had the usual concerns around quantity of food etc, but there was such an abundance of gorgeous and delicious food all of our guests were thrilled and full! Fabulous Father’s Day meal delivered fresh and ready to reheat. Delicious slow cooked lamb with rosemary roasted potatoes, Greek salad, Pitta bread and yoghurt sauce. The Baclava Ice Cream kept the deliciousness going. We’ll be back!

We had Ed and her team cater our wedding last Saturday. It was absolutely faultless service and divine food. The staff were so helpful and enthusiastic - I've never known better service at an event. I had a glass of red split on me at one point and before I knew it a member of the staff was there with a bottle of water and a towel. Amazing. Ed not only catered the event but also gave us advice of size of venue and the number for seats that would be required, she provided bar tables and gave us really creative ideas for making the venue look great and also made sure the event ran smoothly on the night - the whole experience was 100% positive.

Best event caterers in Melbourne! Sophie and the team from Cookes food recently catered our wedding in South Melbourne. Every step of the way Sophie was so easy to work with and put us at ease from day one. The menu they created was amazing on paper and even better on the plate. We chose a shared platter option and everyone at the wedding was raving about the food. It made it so easy to cater for everyone's dietary requirements and different tastes. The grazing tables were a massive hit had something for everyone. The staff at the event were professional and looked after every detail on the night so we could relax and completely enjoy ourselves. Sophie helped us with so many small details we might have missed in the lead up and was in regular contact with us throughout the process. I can't imagine going through this all with anyone else and would only recommend Cookes food to my friends and family in Melbourne.

Felicity at Ed Dixon Food Design managed the catering of our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier. Felicity was an absolute star, for whom nothing was a hassle. She managed the event day seamlessly, and the set up of the reception area was gorgeous.
