Soul Provider did an incredible job catering our wedding. Guests are still commenting on how much food was available and how good it was. Totally recommend them for anyone wanting great quality food for a cocktail wedding!

If you are getting married, the first thing you should do is book Soul Provider for your catering - I honestly cannot recommend them enough. Vital is an actual hero and rest of the team are superstars too. We were concerned at first about choosing cocktail style service, worried that people would not get enough to eat. Vital reassured us and he was not wrong, there was SO much food. All our guests were well-fed and happy, and we are still hearing about how much everyone enjoyed the food. The snapper tacos were a hit, as were the mac and cheese bites and of course the paella. The menus are also really affordable, especially for the quality and wonderful service. I'm already trying to plan another party just so we can have Vital cater again. Love your work!

Soul Provider catered our wedding and did a fantastic job. The food was delicious and exactly what we were looking for - tasty cocktail-service style bites followed by some great paella. They also recommended the perfect amount of food for the number of people we had. All up it was a great experience and we'd definitely use them again!

I can not recommend Soul Provider enough! They catered our wedding at the Nedlands Yacht Club and we still get comments on how amazing the food was. We had a cocktail style wedding for over 160 people and there was more than enough food. The paella especially was a massive hit! Vital was extremely accommodating and worked within our budget. We booked Soul Provider to cater our Wedding in Nov 2019. We can't thank Vital and Ali enough. All the guests raved about the food. Service was seemless and efficient and no one was left wanting. I can definitely recommend them for any sort of function. Mac n' cheese and the fish and chips were crowd favourites and a killer chicken and chorizo paella topped it all off. Have eaten Soul Provider’s food at two weddings, a 30th Birthday, a couple of food festivals and from the food truck parked up somewhere in Victoria Park one time; each time the food has been on point. A considered menu suited to each occasion, well seasoned food, the use of good produce and a nice team.

The husband and I were in the mood for soul food today so we decided to check out Soul Provider in Yagan Square. He ordered the shrimp po boy which was absolutely delightful. I, on the other hand, did not quite enjoy my meal of fried chicken & waffles. Good ol' southern fried chicken & waffles would have consisted of deep fried whole chicken pieces (bone in) instead of chicken tenders/fingers which were what was served. The waffles, though shaped like waffles, were not actual waffles as they had a cornmeal texture to them. The sauce that usually comes with the dish is maple syrup or honey. The sauce that came with my meal tasted like watered down gravy. Definitely a big letdown. If we were to go back there we would definitely get the po boy again and perhaps try other things on the menu.

When I visited the US I lived with a Grandma who cooked soul food every day. I sampled okra ,kale, lime juice in cabbage ,black beans ,chilli and every vegetable possible, delicious flavors where preparation started in the morning for the nights meal. I can't find these flavours in Australia ,this was pretty close though. I had the okra,Black beans coleslaw and potatoe salad with chunks of corn. Octopussalad on corn bread and the soul food plate. Will recommend to family and friends.

got the haitian soul plate for $16. it's not particularly cheap, but solid meal with plenty of variety and heaps of different vegies (and fruits?). i really quite enjoyed it. great setting in yagan square and plenty of options if you're with a group who like different things
