My guests are STILL raving about the quality of food, service & decor... and we got married FIVE months ago! I first contacted Nikki & the team after my original wedding plans were cancelled due to COVID. Nikki was quick to respond & set up a meeting. Upon meeting with the shared affair team I was INSTANTLY put to ease, the fact that they do everything from; Catering, bar staff, styling, prop hire & making you feel completely reassured that your day will run seamlessly was just amazing! Couldnt rate highly enough. We recently ordered a grazing platter for a friends birthday picnic and it was amazing. Not only did it look and taste amazing, it was a very generous platter, despite our best efforts of grazing all afternoon, we got to enjoy leftovers!! We had some dietary restrictions and Shared Affair were extremely accomodating and helpful in catering to our specific needs. A very positive experience. Will definitely be ordering again. Shared Affair could not have done a better job catering our wedding earlier in the year. Incredibly helpful in terms of tasting, sampling and menus. Food was absolutely exquisite. We had about 80 people at our wedding and got the 4 of the canapés and a grazing table (pictured). Best yet, the team was extremely flexible and were able to get picked up and set up the grazing table on our boat in the middle of the harbour while the wedding was taking place. They even managed to organise a dessert last minute for us. Great prices and the food was absolutely fantastic. I will be recommending these guys to all our friends and family. Do not hesitate in getting them to cater your event if they have availability.

Shared affairs came highly recommended when I was looking at organising our wedding. Unfortunately it got cancelled due to covid and I decided to go ahead with organising a surprise bucks party for my fiance and 10 of his best friends. Nikki was absolutely amazing dealing with during the entire process, always responding in time and answering all my questions day or night. I was worried of border closure and she was super flexible. They guys are meat lovers and real foodies so she came up with a meat fest menu. Although I wasn’t there myself, they said it was probably the best meal of their lives and are looking forward to doing it every year. The chef ( Marty i believe) was absolutely fantastic they said, super chill and of great company. Just 5 star service all the way. Trust them, you will not regret.

Nikki was so lovely to deal with throughout the lead up to the day, she was responsive on emails and offered plenty of really great suggestions to us. The food was out of this world, literally every one at our wedding commented on how delicious the food was. The bar staff they used were the best as well, honestly so friendly and attentive to everyone - special shout out to Helmut who made sure my husband and I were fed and always had a drink in our hand! We were on a trip to Sydney this summer (August 2018) with a large group of school children from Japan. We had no idea that "Shared Affair" would actually make the most beautiful memories as well as the yummiest and the healthiest experience for our kids while travelling to Australia. Shared Affair (as most our kids agreed!) is more than just a great food and drinks, it's about being awesome humans (like Nikki and Marty) who put their smiles and hearts into every portion of a gorgeously served meal. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, with super-flexible and affordable pricing and incredible friendly attitude of the owners. Hats off! We can't wait to our next travels to Sydney!!

I had the most AMAZING experience! I had read the reviews and Nikki is as described: responsive, easy to work with....she made my celebration stress free. The team were incredibly professional - Nikki, Marty, Jesse, Jordan, Michael, my guests have been raving about the food and the service. They helped me with some additional items such as, a cake and flowers and it all looked gorgeous. If I had known it would be this great, I would have had things catered before. Shared Affair are amazing! They did the most wonderful job catering for our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious - quite a few of our guests commented on how good it was! They also organised all of the furniture including the marquee (which was a massive help) and worked with us to adapt our food service so we could keep our guests safe during these covid times. The food was exceptional - we had a huge variety and had multiple people come up to us during the night to ask the name of the company. They also did our styling and flowers which were over and above my expectations as I needed all the help I could get (I don’t have an eye for styling and could not have done this without them!). The flowers were so so beautiful and were everything I could have dreamt of and more. I was lucky enough to discover 'Shared Affair' caterers for my daughter's engagement party. I especially liked the ease of communication with the company. Nikki and Michael from Shared Affair catered to our blue mountains wedding on Wednesday 3rd February after 2 postponed dates. All through the stress of changing our wedding date Nikki was an absolute dream to work with. Always accomodating and quick to respond. Her and her husband are such a lovely couple and even let us have a tasting of our menu at their place which was amazing. Felt totally confident going in to the day that the food, wait staff and bar staff were all sorted and there were no dramas at all with them on the day. Only compliments about the amazing food. Seriously you have to try the duck pancakes, arancini and slow roast lamb shoulder YUM. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough for your next function. Thanks guys ! Sophie & Aden

Shared Affair catered my company's Melbourne Cup event this year and they were fantastic! We ordered one of their grazing platters and it was a big hit. They offer a good variety of flavours and textures (different cheeses, meats, nuts, fruit, etc) and they also come in and set it up for you. The table was beautifully arranged with their own decorations as well. But the biggest selling point for me was their customer service. The various people I dealt with over the phone and in person were kind, caring and efficient. Shared Affair helped me create a great event for my company - would highly recommend them.

Nikki and Michael at Shared Affair help make our night a success. Shared Affair catered our wedding last weekend and it was exceptional. We gave Nikki the task of creating Kangaroo Dumplings and they were delicious. All the food at the event was fantastic, all our guests have been complimenting us on the great food. The organisation with Michael at the helm was spot on, floor management was great, everyone had what they needed before they thought about it. Marlee and Tupou Wedding 12th February 2021 We had the great pleasure of working with Nicky and her team of wonderful professionals over the course of 9 months. The changes that were required to meet Covid restrictions just kept on coming. Through the change in location, dates, and the continual change in numbers Nicky took it all in her stride, continually reassuring both Marlee and Tupou. Finally, the day arrived, and Shared Affair went above and beyond in producing the day my daughter had dreamt about. Lux decorations, incredible food, staff who contributed to a perfect day. If you are thinking of any function that involves meticulous planning, high quality food and are looking for the most memorable occasion, do not look any further than the wonderful Nicky and the “Shared Affair Team”.

We looked into using these guys for our daughters christening. Nikki and her team were so helpful with transparent pricing and delicous options for the event, working with our covid restrictions for the number of staff needed and providing advice for quantities of things such as glasses. Unfortunately the venue double booked us 3 weeks before the date but Nikki was great, holding the date and offering suggestions for us during a VERY stressful time. From our first contact through to the end of our wedding night Nikki provided high quality, seamless and proactive service and assistance. She is capable of arranging as little or as much as you need from her, from food to decorations and all other logistical matters, yet is very good at keeping things simple and putting you at ease when you feel like there are a million things up in the air. Her price point was unbeatable compared to the other quotes we obtained, her staff were very friendly and supportive with a can do attitude, and, importantly, the food was fantastic. We had many guests give great compliments on how tasty and satisfying it was. It is impressive that given the wide range of options on her menus we were able to choose from, all of the dishes we selected and received on the night were unique and expertly presented with nice subtle details. Above all she is a super lovely person who feels like an old friend! If you’re reading this review and feel overwhelmed by having to decide who to use for your wedding, don’t go any further.

I can’t begin to recommend Nikki and the Shared Affair team enough! They catered our wedding a week ago and our guests are still messaging us to tell us about how amazing the food was. Not only did Nikki and the team feed my guests, but they styled our entire barn with beautiful florals and decorations exactly as I’d imagined. After working with them for 1.5 years in the lead up to the wedding, it was honestly amazing just to see everything come together as perfectly as it did. Although at times the team can be hard to contact and may take time to respond to emails, the perfect end result was reassuring and is all the proof I need of their professionalism. They travelled 2.5 hours from Sydney and were there the day before helping to set up and decorate. Nothing was ever too much or too hard, and Nikki’s enthusiasm for every idea just made the process (and the day itself) so easy and enjoyable. My other suppliers even took me aside to comment on how helpful and amazing Nikki was. I can’t begin to say ‘thank you’ enough.
