Comments of Argo on the Parade

Came here for lunch. There was a huge variety of options on the menu and so many could accommodate for different diets. The place itself is clean and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Very cute aesthetic. Lots of parking available down the side streets. It’s very convenient that there are QR codes on the tables so you can order while seated. The food didn’t take long to come out and the staff were friendly. The flavour of my salad was also nice and fresh, I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back 😌

Argos is a well run and up-kept establishment with a large selection of food. When we entered the establishment, it was bustling and we were greeted by a friendly, enthusiastic staff member. Myself and a friend had ordered off the breakfast menu, which was a large meal at a good price and reasonable portion size. Great quality ingredients provided a fresh taste and an amazing dining experience. This is a very special hangout spot for me on the Parade!

📍: The Parade, Norwood, Adelaide
📝: My favorite brunch this trip to Adelaide. Absolutely love Argo On The Parade. So overwhelmed by the large range of menu options here, and you can customize nearly EVERYTHING. Definitely going back to try their other menus next time.
❤️: We got a range to try. My favorite was, of course, the Apple Crumble French Toast. Brioche French toast topped with whipped maple butter, baked cinnamon apple, biscuit crumble, creme patisserie, vanilla ice cream, mint, lime sugar and dehydrated apple. Literally heaven 😍.

By far one of the best cafés in Adelaide!
Staff are polite and friendly. Food arrived on time with fresh ingredients and tasted great. Coffee is a bit pricey but tastes great. Meal variety is great. You need to have some basic mobile skills to order your meal as they use QR code for ordering as their preferred options.
Lowlights: there's a surcharge for all credit cards.
Absolutely recommended cafe in the Parade!

A lovely establishment! Even on gloomy days this place shines! Such an amazing menu, trust me they have something you've never had before. I had bacon and egg dumpings for breakfast! Best idea ever! They also literally have magic coffee! Thank you so much for a lovely morning before work! We will have to come back lots so we can try the whole menu!
D. Y.
What an amazing place!
I took my son there for a quick bite and both meals came out quick and were extremely delicious.
Also, make sure you say "hello" to the parrot!
We will be back.
M. V.
So delicious! They have lots of unique dishes and a wide variety of options. The location is great and it’s lovely to sit outside on a nice day. It’s pretty busy so be prepared to wait as there’s no bookings allowed. The Benedict was one of the best I’ve ever had. The coffee is definitely yummy as well. Will definitely be back to try out some of their specialty lattes as well.
F. M.
Fantastic personable Cafe with healthy food options and a number of unconventional ways to have your coffee. Very consistent quality and always top of the line service. The best run Cafe on the parade... hands down.
E. J.
Although Argos food is unique and delicious the wait time for coffee was a solid 50 minutes, the food then arrived after an hour and a half of waiting and was expected by all to be the best food ever but really in comparison to that wait time was quite average.
Although I did see some people around us order and pay but then the order didn’t go through on their devices, so just fair warning to wait in the web page.
M. W.
Coffee bang on!
Chicken club sandwich…. AWFUL! I sent it back after one bite and ordered eggs Benedict instead. The chicken was so dry it was like eating cardboard. It was definitely not fresh. However the front of house staff made sure this was sorted out quickly. Well done to them! Thank you. Unfortunately the person whom cooked or reheated (the chicken) needs some re-training on serving fresh chicken. I’m glad my eggs benny and caramel latte were decent!

We bought Argo's big breakfast and waffle one it's was so good, the portion size was big enough definitely worth the money. The ambiance customer service is good as we expected. The have both indoor and out door dining. Everything is good but the restaurant don't get five stars because of the seating arrangements the tables are so close that I could literally heated what's the next table is discussing. So for that reason they deserve four
C. J.
Huge choice in the menu but from what I had, it was good. Waffle wasn’t too sweet and the potatoes on their big breaky was great
j.
Very efficient service with great food and coffee. They sell brewing equipment and coffee beans. Keep in mind their menu is a novel so pick wisely or use it as an excuse to go back and try more food! :) highly recommend the poke bowl but it's only available from Friday until sold out according to the menu
A. J.
I'm a big fan of french toast and whenever I get a chance to have one, I head to the place. This places serves yummy french toast with good quantity. What makes this place special is the ambience and the birds in the outdoor. Must visit!!
K. R.
Absolutely love this cafe. The food is unbelievably good, the staff are friendly, and if you get a seat in the back courtyard there is an aviary with finches, canaries, and a parrot! Only downside is it's mega busy. Even on a week day out of normal meal times there is still a cue for seating. Their new ordering system using QR scanners on your phone does speed the process up somewhat, but turn around time for meal still seems to be about 30+ minutes. The food is definitely worth the wait though.
M. A.
Such a wonderful atmosphere here! The menu is fresh and has lots of range. Can definitely recommend their smoothies as well. 10 out of 10! Thanks guys!
D. M.
Really a go-to in this area for good food, a huge choice. Probably the only issues are that it's so popular that it can be hard to get a seat, but the throughput is extremely good so even at busy times the service is prompt for drinks and they give good, accurate advice if there's going to be a delay for food.
C. L.
Fantastic dining experience. From the prompt service and awesome coffee to the perfect Eggs Benny can easily see why this place is popular. Virtual queue to get a table and ordering from the table was a breeze and great in current health climate. Array of food selection caters for just about any taste.
A. T.
Love that they are able to make an item which they no longer have on the menu! Great stuff! Only thing is wait time for food is quite slow, not sure if due to staff shortages, so wouldn’t recommend if you’re in a rush!
M. P.
As always best food best service... definitely love to come back again and again.... :)
C. S.
Went for brunch this morning with a friend for the very first time. I was genuinely hesitant considering all the reviews about bad service & length of time spent waiting for food, but I still wanted to give it a shot.
They were definitely VERY busy as it was a Sunday, & it was around a 30 minute wait for food but in NO way is that unreasonable in my book - especially
if you're there chatting with a friend. Food was amazing, drinks were incredible & the menu options are the absolute best. I love the ordering system, too. So easy!
Will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a great time 😊
Y. “. R.
Fantastic cafe food, drink and service!!!
I ordered spicy Hawaiian poke bowl and smoothie that was delicious. Staffs are friendly and caring. Dog friendly. I highly recommend ♡
E. A.
So, so vegan/vegetarian friendly. I’ve never been so spoiled for choice with a menu. The restaurant itself is packed full of good energy, herbs, coffee and healthy tonics and even grow your own mushroom kits! The Thai salad was amazing and my boyfriend had the best facon we’ve ever tried (and we’ve tried a lot!!) in his chilli scramble.
S. J.
Hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Gluten free chicken and waffles. So so so delicious. My husband loved the eggs bennie. The gluten free chocolate banana bread was also incredible. There were so many gluten free options to choose from, we will definitely have to return just to try them! So amazing to find a place that caters to food allergies with amazing options and not just a lame salad or gluten free bread on the side. 🙏🏼🧇🍗
PS be sure to check out the super cute birds in the courtyard 🦜
A.
Apple crumble french toast is absolute genius. The first time I had sweet potato fries in my life from here and now can't stop me. The best sweet potato fries!!!
X. P.
Very funky decor and delight environment, service is excellent. Their menu is so unique that many other new-generation restaurants start to follow up. Food is healthy and delicious with reasonable portion and price. Perfect choice for brunch, friend gathering and family events, if you choose them to happen during the day (they close early).
H. M.
I have been to Argos many times at lunch there is so many options of food to get and drinks. The seating is very good and you can sit next to parrots You can order of your phone and highly recommend for a appetising lunch
L. K. L.
Huge menu to choose from. Healthy choices. Great coffee
P. R.
I always loved Argo coffees and breakfasts. This one was a bowl of pinacolada topped with strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. Nothing to complain.
J. F.
Gordon Ramsay would die if he saw their menu. It's like a bible, they have so much to offer. As with most people reviewing we had to wait for a table, but it was Sunday lunch. Once we were in the staff were friendly, food and drinks came out quick. Serves were big and food was nice enough. I saw some other food come out that will make me go back again.
Seriously huge selection and can cater for all.
T. L.
Amazing food. Love the sweet potato wedges! I get them every time I come here
M. C.
Normal brunch restaurant. i was waiting in line and my turn came, the staff told us to wait in the restaurant but she totally forgot us. Therefore, we have waited more than 10 mins inside. So I asked for another staff to be sit. The food I ordered was a cheese hamburger and a bowl of some fruits. Not that special for me maybe for asian people too. But it was crowded with local people. Anyway, it wasn’t that good experience there. Not going there again.
A. E.
Really delicious food and one of the best chai lattes in Adelaide! Very busy on a weekend but that's because it's so damn good. The staff were nice, helpful and very friendly. Offered water for our dogs even though they were so busy. Definitely recommend.
Y. Y.
Always good food and coffee. Service is quite friendly. The little courtyard at the back has an aviary with a chatty parrot.
G. R.
Fantastic food,, great coffee, 5 star floor staff and whiff of local celebrities. Lovely meeting you Teresa Palmer.
E. H.
Can be busy so be prepared to wait to be seated and for food but customer service is always great and the good is healthy and yummy
S. H.
The cafe has an amazing range of tasty eats and drinks at a price. The staff work hard at their creations. Timing of when food is served is still the main concern. Easy parking and no waiting for a table on this Saturday afternoon.
A.
The brocolli sides and sweet potato wedges were soooooo good. The iced mocha was kind of average, but I heard the hot chocolate here is so good. Will try next time.
M. G.
Great coffee, great food and good service from happy staff. It's an up market coffee and eats place that has the basics in place
A. K.
Bustling bunch place on a weekend, expect some wait time during peak hours. (Would give 3.75 stars if I could).
Whilst the service is really excellent, the food is a bit hit and miss. I personally don’t like how patrons have to order at the counter themselves, I would prefer table service as it gives an extra special feel. But since they have so many tables, I could understand why they’d do this- it would be stressful for staff to remember possibly making mistakes.
I’ve been here twice and the coffee is good here.
Pictured is the pulled pork omlette and a portobello toast dish (I think it’s been removed since). Flavours were good- but the pulled pork omlette got quite salty after a while. Sauce in the mushroom dish was nice but overall a bit bland (perhaps why it’s been taken off menu now ).
Been back here recently last weekend (not pictured as we were so hungry ) and the Le omlette (signature omlette) has lots of vegetables inside it which made it quite wet. The diner style omlette itself was a bit bland and over cooked/ oily.
Might try their nachos next time as they look good- the cafe has a great atmosphere but I probably wounldnt get their omelettes as it doesn’t suit my preference.
D. S.
The line ups on the weekend tell you straight away that it is one of best in Adelaide to have Coffee or a bite to eat
A. C.
It is nice place with stylish interior a good healthy food. There is a selection of vegetarian and vegan meals. You can get fancy spiced coffee here. The place is really busy, there us often some waiting time before you can get seated.
E. M.
Nom nom nom!!! So many tasty, fresh options. So hard to choose. The Mexican Buddha bowl was delicious and super filling. Drinks are also awesome with a huge variety for vegans, vego, and other dietary needs. Staff are always lovely and space is bright and welcoming. Well done on doing away with plastic straws!
K. L.
Nice food and nice service. The staff are very friendly.
M. A.
A favourite in Adelaide when I visit, the only issue for indecisive me is the size of the menu and options. I can never decide what I want and there is so many choices from breakfast to lunch.
Good coffee although almond milk has the cardboard taste to it which isn’t the most pleasant. Normal latte is nice. I had the omelette the first time we went and it was very dry and not very pleasant.
Hands down best item is the takeaway breaky by beau!!! In the fridge it is a choc mousse and soaked oats with chia and the ball of home made peanut butter 🥜 yum! My partner gets one every morning when he visits!!
J. B.
Came here for father's Day lunch. No bookings can be made but it was only a 10 min wait for an indoor seating for 6 people. The food is amazing and healthy with lots of vegetarian, vegan and allergen specific foods. There is also outside seating for dogs and their humans with a few dog treats on the menu. Have eaten here a couple of times and will be back again
蚊.
Amazing Soy Matcha 🍵 Latte, and very tasty baked blueberry 🫐 cheesecake
Fast & Friendly service, great location & atmosphere
J. B.
Very good selection of vegan food. A bit pricey but huge servings. Can't wait to try more!
G. S.
I LOVED IT...
Went on a public holiday, they had a queue. So nicely managed and had Yumm food. They have so much of variety with so many options that you will definitely overeat. Thanks for a good meal
J. W. J.
Aesthetic, cozy, most delicious food ever and even better you get to eat with birds 😍😍😍😍
Let’s come to the Menu…. I would say one of the largest menus I have browsed…. They have tones of options from Keto to vegan to vegetarian to everything else you can ask for…
High light of the Brunch, I would say “protien waffles” it was heavenly delicious and guilt free to dig in.
R. C.
Is this the best breakfast venue in Adelaide? I think so. Perfect way to start the day. Coffee is on point and the food is always fantastic.
S.
One of the best place on the parade.
Wonderful service and good quality food.
H. W.
An extensive menu featuring an abundant amount of delicious smoothies and dishes for both brunch and lunch. There's usually a line and no reservations, but worth the wait
K. Y.
My favourite brunch place.
I love the sheer variety they have to offer that caters to a wide range of dietary needs - vegan, gluten free, dairy free... you name it they will have something available for you.
Particularly love their brekkie bowl and refine sugar free brownies!
L. B.
First time / visit very nice food / very friendly & Helpful Staff !!!
K. S.
Had a good and bad experience here. Came in once and loved it. The second time wasn't. I wanted a table for 6 and waited about 30 minutes for a table and people who were waiting behind us who had more people were seated first. The food was great but the cheeseburger however was a bit expensive and doesn't come with chips. I ordered some chips and it came first when I requested it come with the chips. The Korean fried was great but we found a few hairs in it. The kids' waffles were a bit cold and had been waiting quite a long time as the ice cream was melted. Big menu and great options. Served by a friendly young kind lady and she has very helpful.
F. N.
BIL recommended this place for an ideal breakfast spot. Definitely has an extensive menu for food and drinks and most importantly healthy options.
A. D.
Very trendy place, really good quality food and very friendly staff. A little on the expensive side but as always you get what you pay for and at the end of the day its probably not much more expensive than other places but your getting 5 times better food. Kind of reminds me of mums cooking and the amount of love that goes into the food and i dont think ive ever really felt like that about a restaurant in adelaide 😀
A. L.
Food was amazing! Very friendly owner. Best chai latte and beautifully done egg Benedict, highly recommended cafe for brunch with family and friends :)
D. S.
Had a top brunch out the back alfresco with ‘lucky’ the parrot 🦜 - who cheekily says hello 👋 now and again.
S. M.
Tasty bacon and eggs, loved it for the atmosphere and the nice outdoor feeling this establishment provides.
C. C.
Excellent food. A great list of options for every dietary requirement. The atmosphere is excellent. It's just a little costly but you certainly get what you pay for.
j. L.
Great portion size and customer service.
Definitely going back!
K. A.
Always always have to visit when I'm in Adelaide. Very popular for a reason!! So many options, can never decide on one 😍

Regulars of weekend brunch. Solid coffee. Good food selection.
G. R.
Delicious and healthy meal and drink variety. All the dishes are very unique and must try 👍🏻 coffee to cake are perfect 👌🏻
A.
The brocolli sides and sweet potato wedges were soooooo good. The iced mocha was kind of average, but I heard the hot chocolate here is so good. Will try next time.
M. C.
Great place for a healthy late breakfast or lunch. Huge menu to choose from and super busy. Sometimes you need to line up for a table.
b. w.
Coco drip is the best! Love it soooooo much! A very busy café, if you want to have the meal soon, please queue online first...
P. D.
Great food, great juice, great coffee, great service.
C. B.
Great choice of delicious food and awesome coffee and service to match
A. C.
Argo is my regular go to cafe in Norwood
The great: Extensive menu with Argo classics as well as specials and
deals
Large variety of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options even
desserts!
Meal serves are generous.
Coffees are great and so is the hot chocolate
The not so great: Be prepared to wait for a table cos this place is popular
Be prepared for a bustling noisy vibe- its busy!
Be prepared to wait for your food- see above
If you arrive early for brekkie or lunch you wont have as long a wait for a table and/or food
R. S.
Love love love this place. Best healthy food options in Adelaide. Lucky the talking bird is always an entertaining treat and a great range of items for sale too. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and it's definitely worth it if you have to wait for a table. Always quite busy but I know why! Definitely a favourite lunch spot and very kid friendly too. Can be noisy inside but well worth it. ❤️
C. F.
Great place in Norwood. Wonderful food, good service. Various vegan and vegetarian options.
H. A.
Great food. building needs to be more accessible for people with disabilities
T. B.
-Possibly the greatest menu selection in Adelaide for Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch.
-Great selection of meal choices for allergy sufferers, or those with dietary requirements.
-Easy check-in system during periods of long lines, so you can go and do some shopping or have a browse instead of waiting in queue.
-Portion size of meals is excellent.
-Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating and are quite often under the pump due to how popular this establishment is.
-Great coffee and take away options.
-New order selection system allows you to select and pay for your meal “self service”without lining up.
A. M.
Delicious! Bustling cafe on the parade with decent food and a talking parrot out back 🙃
C. A.
Been going here for awhile whenever I visit Adelaide. The staff are helpful and happy. Can get crazy buzy on the weekend. They have a great selection of healthy tasty food. Had the poached eggs on organic sour dough with nitrate free bacon and Avocado. Finished of with an elixer shot 👍
A. S.
Don't be put off by the line outside, it moved very quickly and was worth the wait! Impressively big menu, something for everyone! Service was fast and the food was amazing, will definitely be back!
K. A.
Always always have to visit when I'm in Adelaide. Very popular for a reason!! So many options, can never decide on one 😍
S. B.
excellent breakfast, quality presentation. consistently delicious
V. L.
Awesome smoothies, tasty burgers, crisp fries and brimming cake cabinet. Vegan and vegetarian heaven! Meat eaters looked after too. Ever expanding menu using seasonal, local ingredients. Family & dog friendly.
J. T.
Regulars of weekend brunch. Solid coffee. Good food selection.
C.
So many healthy choices the best tea varieties and love that they have well being shots. With the choices of vegan, keto and other substitutes with your meal, I'm in love. This is now my new favourite go to place. The staff are warm and welcoming and the place is always busy so you know it's good. The fact that they are so enviro concious and once they run out of products that's it so you know it's fresh. Highly recommend
W. N.
Excellent place for meals and great selections of coffees and drinks. Best to book because they get super busy!
C. B.
Great smoothies and sweet potato chips. Friendly and open atmosphere - can be a bit loud when full. Good for kids too. Worth a visit
N. Y.
Great atmosphere and great food, a really nice place to sit in and have excellent coffee
S. E.
Second time we have visited Argo. Good food and great coffee.
A. H.
Amazing choice! Especially if you like veggie, vegan or food with good nutrition. Took me ages to decide because of the variety. There's meat too of course, and chips. Then there is all the cakes/raw slices vegan stuff in the counter too. Didn't yet try the coffee. Loved it.
D. F.
Fantastic, will be coming back for sure, amazing food and excellent customer service, highly recommend 😊
L. G.
In reply to how to bump my experience to 5 star.
I had one of the beef burger items on the menu.
Was a little bit on the dry side. Not overcooked. Just the meat is probably too lean.
But you guys have a very healthy menu, so I respect your burger patty decision.
Bun was great though. Really nice.
C. M.
Great little gem, surrounded by greenery on the bustling Norwood Parade. Varied and unusual choices on the menu. We had a Habibi, smoothy bowl and the vegetarian brekkie and the food not only looked amazing but tasted so fresh and flavourful! Generous serving and friendly staff. Definitely a must try!!
It gets very busy so come early!!
P. D.
Huge exciting and innovative menu, with an amazing drinks selection. Large cafe on a beautiful street.
L. P.
Always great food, and always comes very quickly. Now you are able to sit and scan a code on your table to order/pay online, with an app that even has a photo of every single dish.
S. D.
Great food, always very busy, so sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but well worth it! Generous serves and excellent choices. Service is fast and always friendly too, without being pretentious like some other Parade spots.:)
T. M.
Ordered a Bannanarama smoothy with peanut butter, best smoothy ever, seriously!
D. S.
Great food. Tons of vegetarian and vegan options. You can order ahead/or from you table through the website. Very handy if you can plan ahead or if there is a long line.
S. H.
Coffee is always great! And the food and service is good. Everything comes out faster than expected even when busy.
j. L.
Great portion size and customer service.
Definitely going back!
P. R.
So many delicious and beautiful options for every different dietary requirement
B. H.
Always packed, it was somewhere I was keen to try. I was sat at a tiny table next to the kitchen. The food seemed standard as far as cafes go. It was delicious, but I felt the hype ramped up unrealistic expectations. Busy, and filled with energetic chatter. Seemed the hip place to be.
E. W.
I like the interior design of this restaurant. Foods served here are good too. Big breakky and pulled pork burger are delicious.
N. R.
I really love this place... but obviously so does everybody else because I've never been there when it's not busy. Such a great place with so many options for everyone though. They really cater for as many dietary preferences they can!
R. F.
Perfect Cafe for pictures and delicious food plus coffee at the same time!
Doggos friendly!
C. C.
The food & service is incredible. Great coffee and a fantastic atmosphere. Love this place.
P. C.
Worth the long wait, service was great and a great range of food for everyone. Highly recommend the pulled pork Benedict 👌
C. I.
Coffee Luke warm, breakfast was nice but not very hot
P. T.
Best coffee always… I love it 😍
J. L.
I love this place. The variety is incredible. There is so much to choose from especially for vegetarians/vegans. Every meal I've had here has been outstanding and the staff are always friendly.
D. L.
Argo Special (Lamb Salad) and Warm Chicken Salad are devine. Extensive menu to suit all types and complimentary sparkling water is a nice touch.
M. W.
Such a wonderful selection of food to choose from and an amazing array of drinks. I initially had my prerequisite cappuccino and then tried their ginger lemonade... Amazing drink that had a fantastic hit of ginger. It is a very popular venue and I can see why. I even enjoyed the chat with their bird in the back 😁 great choice of sweet treats too.
D. D.
I really love this place.
I've been here 4 times.
1st one was the best one.
2nd one my boyfriend ordered burger but the chicken was too dry, can't even eat that.
3th one I ordered same menu as the 1st one but tase different we're okay because we thought that day was too busy.
4th one we're served with the grumpy writer. Exept that lady everyone else is nice. Wish never catch up with that grumpy lady again 🤦♀️
M. C.
Good coffee and the QR code wait system is a good way to plan around wait times. The food was a bit hit and miss, some meals like the Morning Noods were full of flavour, yet others like Pulled Pork Benedict were odd (e.g. It had 'clashes' in flavours between the savoury pulled pork and hollandaise sauce, strong curry-like spices on top, yet also a strong acidic/beetroot taste from the paste that was put on the toast). If you read the menu carefully for anything added that you normally would not expect with a dish, and I think you'll be happy.
P. F.
Awesome food!! A little on the expensive side though
P. T.
The food variety is excellent as is the staff friendliness. They're extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their food.
The only real downsides here is that you can often end up waiting a while to get in and the food isn't cheap - but it's worth it.
W. L.
Excellent food. Very diverse menu. Argos catapulted the brunch boom in Adelaide and yet they are still ahead of the game.
Yes- sometimes it is a bit busy and hectic- but that is what happens when the food is so good!
H. G.
Tasty food, halloumi fries were delicious. The burger was a little oily and had to sit outside with no patio heaters and only one blanket for the two of us. Would not have the beef burger next time and would definitely book well ahead of time to sit inside on the weekend. All up a very enjoyable meal though.
C. A.
Great place to eat or get takeaways/snacks or coffee!! It is very popular though, so be prepared for a wait if you want to sit down or get there early! :) for gluten free people, pretty much 99% of the cabinet and menu is gluten free and the takeaway treats taste amazing!!
T. T.
The food selection is awesome! Clean feed 😋
A. S.
A very Bustling Place in Adelaide. I was visiting from Melbourne and a local friend of mine insisted that this was the place to go for brunch. We had to wait a short time, 10 mins to get a table, but once we did - I totally got why. The menu is incredibly VAST. With LOTS of GREAT OPTIONS. I ended up selecting the ACAI bowl and a smoothie. My Acai bowl was DELICIOUS. We did have to turn our table over in 60 mins for their next table to sit which sort of took from the enjoyable experience. But hey good food, good ambiance, maybe that's just how it goes here. Definitely recommend Argos on the Parade. There's something for everybody and it's really yummy. Thanks guys !
M. F.
Trendy cafe with lots of healthy foods for breakfast and lunch.
Vegan, gluten, keto,vegetarian options.
Very busy and be prepared to wait for a seat.
Can be very noisy.
Many, many options of drinks, shots, cold juices, health drinks, teas, coffee, milk etc.
Nice food, but too busy and over the top in food choices for me. Prefer a quiet cafe with the basics and not as expensive.

Opens quite early, went in to get a coffee. The staff were really friendly and happy so I decided to order breakfast. Delicious breakfast, large portion which certainly pleased this hungry construction worker.
The wireless charging station at the table a great touch. Will definitely be back with my wife.
D. H.
Great value for money. Large meals using fresh locally sourced ingredients.
A. R.
Delish as usual, new virtual line and ordering system is great!
C. H.
It's a charming spot with a fantastic outdoor area and an extensive menu with options for everyone. The coffee and food is great, but we waited over an hour for our food. There was no communication about food taking longer than usual, and even the chips we ordered took far too long.
Don't go if you're not prepared to wait a bit, but otherwise this a great spot for kids, dogs, and everyone else!
T. M.
I must admit after going there again this week I was pretty happy with our coffee which was nice a creamy and the slice was delicious our son was most impressed by the chocolate milkshake. The staff are very friendly too. The sparkling water on tap is most impressive. The only negative which is no reflection on the business is some of the clientele have their heads up their backsides.
N. M.
Very cool and hip cafe that was buzzing. The outside plants and vertical garden quietened the busy street. I didn't eat but the food coming looked very enticing and the coffee by Monetary coffee roasters was on point 👌☕
C. H.
Good location, great seating options inside and out. Very nice on a nice sunny day. Service was very friendly and efficient. Coffee was delicious and high quality, brought out fairly quickly. Enjoyed thoroughly.
Food options are plentiful, with meals breakfast through late afternoon. We had burgers with fries and both burgers were exceptional. Tasty with homemade ingredients. After lunch we purchased a couple of slices (Snickers and a Nutella/caramel one) and though a little pricey, were amazing.
Probably one of the best places I've had coffee and a meal in Adelaide. Prices would be average to above average, but happy enough to pay with all of the above. 🙂
J. W.
Amazing menu, and space. Got in in reasonable time even though it was pretty busy. Desperately slow service for food though. Came out lukewarm too. Worth a try
S. G.
A lovely place of a specialty coffee, an extensive menu with many options catering to different dietary requirements. Their parking is only on the parade but if you go at the right time, no issues.
We had the keto omelette and the breakfast dumplings. Whilst the omelette is something i have fallen in love with and have attempted to recreate at home, the dumplings were bland and not a good choice. They have so many options available, so choose another one.
The staff are great, the layout for some tables means you are in a direct walkways for patrons, but with the covid distancing, this was a necessity. Their ethos, environment and location make them a great standout cafe that i am confident will continue to thrive in the adelaide community.

Visited for the first time today, 06.02.20, and was very impressed. The venue has an energetic-open feeling with lots of food beautifully displayed. Staff were very warm and friendly, menu is fantastic, food was excellent and good value. I’ll be eating here again soon!
S. O.
Fabulous food and attentive service. Loved it!
B. B.
Great place. The food was delicious. The menu had extensive options for brunch, lunch and drinks. Be prepared to wait if you go on weekends. Vegetarian friendly. Will definitely visit again!
G. G.
How lovely can a cafe get? The setting is great with the outdoor dining area covered in plants heaps of seating inside.
The food is great and the selection is outstanding!
The drink choices are head spinning. Try the dirty chai.
And of course the fact that it is dog friendly seals the deal.
J. D.
I don't know where to start. The food is amazing, healthy, varied, huge portions, innovative, fresh, amazing. The choice of food is staggering, I honestly don't know how they do it. The service is top notch and the staff know the menu like the back of their hands. Even when I've been with large groups, the kitchen has successfully managed to get everyone's orders out at the same time. Dog friendly outside with water bowls, and winter friendly for humans as they have blankets. The only thing I don't like, is the birds in cages out the back; makes me sad. Otherwise, probably the best breakfast/brunch/lunch venue in Adelaide.
A. S.
Always very busy and huge line up. (I usually wait an average of 30 mins and that is not even at rush hour). Very noisy inside as well. However food is delicious - highly recommend the waffles!! Inside is very well styled and looks very aesthetic. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options so a great place to go with family if they like there is a mix of dietary requirements. Overall great experience once inside.
L. N.
Killer menu, great food and service. Always busy so be ready to line up but it's worth it.
L. H.
A great establishment with the tastiest menu to satisfy everyone. A family favourite of ours from my 6yr old son to my 81yr old Nan. The team are friendly, passionate and put love and care into everything they do.
m. a.
The menu here is extensive and everything looks totally delicious. I had the purple toast which was very satisfying - the poached eggs were perfect. Lots of lattes and hot chocolates to choose from and the cinnamon donut hot chocolate tastes amazing, exactly like a donut! It was pretty busy but on a Friday morning we didn't have to wait long and the service was fast.
V. R.
Always love it here. The food is amazing as is the service. We were particularly well care for by Aaron today who was very friendly and so good at his job.
S. M.
Great place for vegetarian and vegan meals
S. J.
Argo always has great food. An overwhelmingly extensive menu means that you can take guests with any dietary requirements here and everyone will be pleased. The take-away wraps are delicious but a little expensive at $15. They are always fresh and with quality ingredients.
K. 1.
Amazing place by all mean, test, presentation, environment and service
T. S.
Great Gluten free options
B. B.
Great coffee, good food and welcoming staff
J. C.
No signage, took me ages to find it. Ordered breakfast dumplings, they were still frozen when I finally got them. Staff were nice though.
B. X.
Great food and drinks however a rather long wait for food to come out when it was pretty quiet.
J. L.
I love this place. The variety is incredible. There is so much to choose from especially for vegetarians/vegans. Every meal I've had here has been outstanding and the staff are always friendly.
W. L.
Excellent food. Very diverse menu. Argos catapulted the brunch boom in Adelaide and yet they are still ahead of the game.
Yes- sometimes it is a bit busy and hectic- but that is what happens when the food is so good!
H. V.
Fantastic place with delicious vegan options. Marinated tofu, highly recommended.
A. T.
Busy, in a good way. Happy, helpful staff. Good food, delivered quickly to your table.
K. D.
Lovely place. Nice combination of quality food with nice seating admixed with a Fine Delicatessen.
Had breakfast there for the 1st time, and tho I'm from Melb, this will be my preferred go to place for breakfast in Adelaide, nearby to the CBD.
J. B.
Prepare to wait, but there is good reason we do! The staff a great and the food is fresh. This Argo is always busy but they have perfected the art of running a busy popular cafe. Smoothie bowls are 🙌🏼 and surprisingly filling!
L. T.
The quality of food isn't consistent. The very last time I visited, I ordered the same plate as the time before and was greatly disappointed. The mushroom which was supposed to come in one-piece was chopped into tiny pieces and scattered all around the plate, covered in watery sauce that flooded my plate. The latte that I ordered was cold, and had strange ginger/chai taste. Never returned since.
D. S.
Absolute best restaurant! I have visited many good places but no place that I could compare to this. The food is amazing, fresh and healthy. The smoothies are incredible, employees are friendly and helpful and overall I couldn't give this place enough stars. The wait can sometimes be a bit because of how busy this place gets but the expensive and wait is all worth it! Highly recommend! Keep up the great work!
B. R.
We will always visit Argo when coming to Adelaide! The menu is extensive and each item we have ordered is delicious (drinks included). If you come during peak times (weekend brunch) there will most likely be a line but I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seated. I also prefer this Argo (The Parade) over the city location as it seems to have more charm and character.
r. c. (.
This place is amazing highly recommend this place the meals are so good creative flavours that blow you're mind and tastes so good together it's a very busy cafe but the wait was minnimal which made it a really great place to go plenty of different seating types. vertical gardens compliment the side of the cafe and they were painting a mural for those amazing instagramable shots loved it!
N. N.
Love it! Their sweet potato fries with vegan airlines are amazing! Worth a trip. Gets very busy because their its so. Great. Lots of choices such as vegan, gluten free, dairy free etc. Salads as well. Inside and outside seating.
J. C.
No signage, took me ages to find it. Ordered breakfast dumplings, they were still frozen when I finally got them. Staff were nice though.
G. T.
We ordered the matcha smoothie bowl with keto granola, the pulled pork benedict, and the articado. All of them did not disappoint as each was well-sized, tasty, and nicely presented. Service was prompt and friendly.
L. P.
Insanely big menu with vegan, gluten free keto, paleo and FODMAP options. Must say it is always busy so if crowds scare you either sit outside or look else where. Food and coffee are great. Has become a great regular visit when we are in the area.
M. L.
This place is a must on anyone's list. They have an extensive menu that it would take a very long time to completely sample everything. However, the best part is that you can't actually go wrong with anything on the menu! Everything I've tried has been amazing! This includes the coffees! To compliment everything else, they have free sparkling water on tap and service would be considered quick for the number of people they turn around.
J. B.
Great find. Loads of drinks for the misses to pick from. Food looked good coming out & plenty. Nice feel to the place & inside was packed. After a while, there was even a queue to get in, to a cafe! Says a lot. Impressed & will be returning.
V. P.
Very cool place and value for money! Staff are friendly too! Would love to be back!
J.
There literally isn’t even enough words to describe this place! Dan and his family run an amazing business with great staff and amazing food. Your literally can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! There smoothie Bowles are my absolute favourite though!
P. H. a. G.
Often order food via Ubereats. Can confirm quality items and great food.
M. V.
Love this place!!! Awesome cakes and shakes and pretty much everything. Best strawberry shakes ever! Staff are always friendly and extremely efficient. This place is always inundated with people and always has a line. The wait time and small table sizes would be the only thing to be discouraged by. Always speak highly of this place and will certainly be back for many future shakes amongst other things.
J.
Extensive menu with a great variety of food that tastes fresh and provides a generous serve. Friendly service and great atmosphere. Definitely worth it for a healthy fresh feed, well worth the price.
H. B. -. B.
Great service and a beautiful cafe. Was excited about the range of vegan options, but the dishes we ordered were a bit confused and over the top. Sometimes simple is better.
T. B.
On par with the best made mocha coffee in Adelaide, with a menu longer than you could imagine, and a plethora of symbols for every dietary requirement that has been or will ever be, in vogue. Great food, mostly all very healthy, and friendly staff. The queue always moves quickly so don't be put off by that.
L. C.
They have so many different amazing breakfast options. The staff are very friendly and the coffe is great. Get there early as there is usually a line up out the front for a table.
R. P.
Perhaps the most popular cafe in Adelaide and rightfully so! The food is absolutely delicious and the menu is highly varied. They mostly cook with wholesome ingredients, which explains the slightly higher price. Argo is my best recommendation when looking for a cafe in Adelaide. The place is extremely popular with locals, so you may have to queue
M. D. B.
Hiya. I went here this morning, for breakfast. I only wanted something simple so ordered eggs on toast, pot of tea. But I also thought I'd give their "Digestive shots a crack. Top idea. It's something that hasn't caught on in Oz yet, but it should. As the name suggests it helps get the "juices" flowing, ready for the breakfast proper. Today was extremely busy with MAMIL's and NARWIL's (Normally Athletic Women In Lycra!) enjoying their coffees etc, in preparation for the day's Tour Down Under event. It was an extremely gusty day, and the only thing stopping me giving Argo on the Parade more stars was the very heavy door leading out to the rear of house dining area, constantly slamming from the wind (this door has been like this for quite a while. I am stunned how that heavy glass door has not brought the glass wall down yet as the wall moves quite a bit from such anevent!). The door handle was very much not fit for use. Customers were constantly jumping everytime the door slammed. Get it replaced, and this cafe would be the bomb! Food = fabulous
Inclusive food selection for all = amazing
Beverages = great
Prices = very reasonable
Atmosphere = European
Building maintenance = could do better
Door aside...get down there and try the food and beverages. You won't be disappointed!!
My apologies for being verbose
C. L. (. K.
My favourite breakfast and lunch café! They cater for my dietary restrictions so I know when I order something, that it will not only be good for me, but taste fantastic as well. They have a large variety on their menu which caters for many tastes. They always use fresh, wholesome ingredients, so you never feel too guilty even eating their delicious cakes and desserts.
The only downside is that it is very busy, especially on weekends. They have a lot of staff on hand though, so the wait is usually not too bad. If you hate lines, they also do takeaway as well.
They are also now offering reward points for regular customers, so get down there and try it out, you won't be disappointed :-)
T. L.
Worth the short wait. The Hot Piggies Hotdog was fantastic! Service was prompt and very pleasant. We’ll be back again.
T. J.
I have tried to get here couple of times in the past but system of waiting outside their entry, on the street, is very off putting. I decided to wait for a free table this time - glad I did it. Gnocchi’s were perfect, broccoli crunchy, coffee perfect, will sure come back again.
R. W.
Really nice place with so many healthy and tasty options. Paradise for gluten free and vegan.
A. L.
Incredible range of breakfast and lunch menu choices. Interesting acai bowls as well. Quick service and lovely ambience.. Gets really busy on weekends. Also has a talkative resident parrot. Recommended place.
D. P.

Argo is an appropriate name as it held my senses hostage. With a gourmet selection of foods, aid digestive shots just to cram in more (thoughtful) and good coffee (must). This place is laced with good vibes, good people and good food. The menu with diversified options to please any palate from vegan, veges, carnivals and the pure gluttonous need for bacon. There's a queue for a reason and Argo will not disappoint
s. r.
Really nice place. They cater vegetarians and vegans as well with variety of options. Will definitely visit again.
C. M.
Food is fine and you know what you're going to get as it's always consistent. Would prefer the menu to be smaller and have a few special dishes but the choice obviously appeals to many people and the crowds continue to come. Coffee here is good.
J. A.
Love Argo! It’s one of my favourite spots for breakfast or lunch. The staff is fantastic and food is delicious and stunning! I highly recommend a visit but there may be some wait involved as it’s a popular spot.
S. B.
Very nice/healthy food! Very generous serves as well
G. D.
Only tried hot chocolate here.. but it was amazing!!
Try S'mores hot chocolate.
Also the staff is very friendly and this place is usually crowded. Good vibes!
S. M.
This place rocks... they know coffee, they know service, they know people. I’ll keep coming back over and over and over again...no matter how busy. You have a real understanding of what running a customer-focused business is all about!!!✨
T. O.
One of those places where you wonder why you’ve never been before! Will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu. Great food and service 10/10
N. “. M.
The food was really nice - I had the 'Argo Special' salad on recommendation from a friend. The menu has a few basic categories and lot's of different options so you're definitely spoilt for choice. We did have to line up to get a table and the wait for our lunch was a little long but that's the price you have to pay to eat at a popular place that I guess was even a little more busy than normal.
N. J.
I am absolutely obsessed with this place. I am love how the menu is created , the people here are always stunning and the food is so fresh and healthy it's to die for. My partner knows that if I get to start my day here it'll be a fabulous day. We drive all the way from hallet cove to just have breakfast here ;)
E. F.
A visit to the Norwood Parade would not be complete without visiting Argo. Still the go tom place on the parade the restaurant/cafe has expanded into the adjoining shop front. We were here for Breakfast & took Nos 1 eggs & Nos 3 eggs with salmon. Amazing bread kibbled rye. Food is really sensational & so different from the normal cafe. Juices & smoothies read great. Always busy & frantic yet the experience coupled with super food is a must do. Cost $33.50 for 2.
R. S.
Good food options for all.....very busy always. Can't book.
T. R.
Been here a couple of times. The staff are extremely friendly. The food is absolutely Delish!!!
A. L.
Simply good ,fantastic coffee, always fast and friendly, I highly recommend
ANDREW L
T. E.
Amazing food. Such a large variety to cater everyone. Standard pricing. Would love to go more but it's so popular that going anytime after 9am is a joke because you'll probably not get a table or have to wait for one. Needs more locations
N. S.
Great food here. Had lunch and it was fresh and filling. Coffee was also enjoyable and full of flavour (they also do some pretty outragoeus custom flavoured coffees) Definitely would come back again.
E. S.
Food wasn't bad. Coffee tasted like milk. So went up to order another two with an extra shot after I advised the coffee was below par for what you expect when paying $8.00 for two coffees they didn't offer any refund or replacement. Very happy to see me pay and extra 9.00 for another two coffees.
F. D. A. (. D. A.
They had left bacon strips in the veggie eggs on toast. Yikes.
B. S.
Great service. Very popular and as such quite busy. You get seated then order meals at the counter. Breakfast was good. Watch out for those green eggs and ham! :)
N. C. J.
Cramped when busy. Poor form stacking chairs on tables/moving tables since they are 40 minutes to close hence people around us felt rushed. Food good but pricey. Comptetitors offer more value.
J. C.
Really great food and helpful staff. They also have some talking birds which is always a good addition to any dining experience. Highly recommended to anyone who likes good food or talking birds.
C. S.
Hi guys, I had the hangover cure (black drink) and it was really nice but maybe with less lemon pieces (just use lemon juice?). I kept getting a mouthful of lemon so that was my only issue aha. All the food was top notch and my friend and I really enjoyed it.
J. M.
Good food and coffee, massive menu with something for everyone, caters well to the vegan, vegetarian and health food conscious just as well as to anyone looking for a a good breakfast, brunch or lunch. Coffee from local roasters Monastery Coffee, with everything from flavoured lattes to cold drip and filter coffee. Expect to wait 15mins during busy times for a table.
K. D.
The menu was overwhelmingly huge and a chore to read, with the vegan options scattered throughout which meant I had to read through the entire thing. Once I got through the menu and decided what I wanted, food was delivered promptly and tasted good.
V. D.
This food place is perfect among those who wish to stay healthy or are vegans/vegetarians. Having said that, they do serve good meat burgers and non-végétariens selections. The wait can be long, but to compensate, they have trivial games to pass time.
R. V.
Great for a quick bite and drink, however not sure why people feel the need, to file in line, for a seat, just to grab a quick bite. Plenty of other places. along this strip, that are just as good. Ok food and drinks, much suited to those that like noisy-bustling and have plenty time to spare
N. T.
Delicious food and fantastic service! Came for a late lunch at about 2pm and ordered the Black Rose Salad with added chicken to make it more filling. Most places give you the tinniest portions of extras but I was pleased to receive two large pieces of chicken and a generous serving of avocado! (Most plaves are skimpy with avo). The cold-dripped coconut coffee was to die for! Definitely reccomend. Very impressive, large menu too! ❤❤❤
T. R.
Great variety of quality food. Very good selection of vegan/vegetarian meals and the usual chicken / beef / pork. Even your pet dogs are catered for.
B. B.
Great coffee, good food and welcoming staff
T. T.
Great coffee and a great range of food including vegetarian and vegan options. Quick service. There is generally a 10 minute wait at peak times to get a table. I think it's worth the weight
M. A.
It's really yummy! Especially the chipsss😍😍😍
A. H.
A fresh vibrant environment a great healthy approach to dining out with friends. Great staff and fabulous food. Vegan and vegetarians will love Argos
A. N. G.
Busy to the point where there are lineups down the street at peak-brunch times, and with good reason. Hip cafe with very good food and timely service. It's surprising there haven't been more attempts to emulate the Argo formula at other cafes on The Parade.
M. C.
I love Argo’s for its many delicious vegan options first and foremost, but it has a great atmosphere and super friendly staff too. I have never been when it hasn’t been busy though never wait long for a table.
R. W.
Excellent food although the coffee is fairly average. Be prepared to wait but if you're here for the food you probably won't be disappointed. Nice natural decor.
S. B.
TL;DR: Basically it's the new Cibo. High volume, average quality, at best.
Suffering from the same fate as all places that become too popular; volume of sales being more important than quality. Where once you would know you'd get a great coffee, the last few have been sloppily made and very, very average. An ok place if you want a spot to sit in a lively place. Not somewhere you want to go if you want the food or coffee to be the star of the show.
S. N.
Love this place. Fresh and healthy options - vegetarians would like it too.
The staff are friendly and offer great customer service.
A modern twist on some foods.
T. R.
Always a favorite place to eat. Love the amount of gluten free food on the menu. Never dissapointed!
S. S.
Lots of selection on foods and juices that makes you feel like you’re a kid in a candy shop. I don’t think anyone could finish the menu but they are very creative to mix different flavours and surprise you.
T. C.
One of my favourite spots on the parade. Lovely staff and great coffee & food. Highly recommend
M. M.
Very delicious food was provided! I liked it however it could be better!
N. R.
Food was average. They were busy though so maybe will be better next time
S. S.
Excellent food. Very busy. I had lunch there and the place was overflowing. Obviously a favourite of the locals. Generous servings too. Affordable
T. S. O.
Excellent friendly service, brilliant barista and quality beautiful food!
A. W.
Massive menu, I wanted to order one of everything everything because it all looked and sounded delicious. Our meals were fantastic with generous portion sizes and great flavour... We'll be back
R. J.
My go-to when in Adelaide. Amazing selection of healthy fresh food. Always the same great quality food. Big menu to choose from with plenty of healthy snacks, smoothies raw balls etc
B. X.
Great food and drinks however a rather long wait for food to come out when it was pretty quiet.
P. D.
Great Sunday spot in Norwood. Fully automated ordering takes away abit of the experience but keeps you from having your conversations interrupted 😄
E. B.
Disappointing Hot Dog,? microwaved?
Inelegantly presented, have been much better previously ! Will return for second chance!!
R. D.
Very overpriced- some of the breakfasts have egg and an optional extra to buy. Coffee good but not the best I've had. I would not line up for this place- unless you need to be seen with the in crowd
A. K.
Argo is PRETTY GOOD. Great range of food including vegan options. Can get VERY crowded and its wise to get there early in case there are queues.
Staff are young, courteous and efficient and in the kain know their product and are helpful with enquiries. Decor is 'cafe'
m. l.
Friendly service, delicious food, nice atmosphere.
K. E.
Visiting from Melbourne, loved this place. I had banana bread dish; very tasty and they were able to remove the nuts for me with no issues. Will return again
Z. L.
Food is fresh and delicious. It is always very busy but the atmosphere is great. Cost of food is a bit on the pricy side.
A. K.
Never disappoints. Food and drinks always delicious and staff always friendly! Keep up the good work!
D. E.
Excellent coffee slick and welcoming service. sometimes have to pass it by as no available seating.
H. M.
Amazing healthy and tasty food, with something for everyone
K. A.
Delicious food and good service!
Only reason I havent given it 5 stars is I felt quite claustrophobic by how many people were there and how close everyone dining is.
R. J.
The vibe is really good, staff are friendly. Have to try the famous smoothie bowls and take photos with the artwork on the walls. Very happy with this place
V. O.
Nice food. Different large range of smoothies. Good to try different ones another time.
Very popular, so it was loud.
E. B.
Great place awesome food :)
G. S.
Great trendy food always, Good vegan selections as well. Food Presentation is excellent. There’s a line-up most of the times so book ahead.

Love argos! staff always friendly and do whatever they can to make you enjoy yourself. Huge thank you and love to Melinda and her staff, beautiful bunch xxx Issy & Ross

100% spot on coffee! I havent tried the food but will do at some stage!
J. J.
Great selection. Argos do so much for the community and donate any profits on Boxing Day. Love supporting this family owned business
C. a. D. M.
These guys are awesome they have a huge range of gluten free treats for my fellow coeliacs or gluten intolerant brethren...they are really great towards allergies if you are lactose intolerant they will make a suggestion for an alternative 100% recommend 👌🏼
L. l.
Love the ambience, quick service
C. M.
Service really good even though the place was packed out. Smoothies were great. The best thing is probably their range of options from foods, to drinks, and desserts.
L. E.
The best brunch spot in Adelaide, they can cater to all sorts of dietary requirements
C. R.
I loved it here, they had a great menu and the staff were really friendly, I’ll definitely be back! Thanks guys 😊
J. T.
Nice place. Had mixed experience, it all really depends on what you order on the menu. Great vibes and amazing service.
S. N.
Food & coffee is great but be prepared to wait for a table and your order.
K. P.
I don't need to say anything. Look at the photos :D
M. H.
Always busy at Argos, don't be surprised to find yourself queing for a table on a weekend. Food is always top notch with plenty of options for the gluten free/vegetarian/vegan in your friendship circle.
꧁. M.
Had a negative experience, but the way in which it was handled by the manager ... was exceptional! Happy to return ...
J. S.
Lovely place with vegan food! I had the raspberry lemonade drink, very good! Get the Vegan food!
V. P.
Nice food, good atmosphere, staff are friendly all the times. Feel enjoyable to have a meal at here.
H. V.
Fantastic place with delicious vegan options. Marinated tofu, highly recommended.
T. S.
After a years absence returned today to the Argo Cafe on the Parade. The cafe was packed out, with people waiting for a table outside.
When it comes to food choices, amazing, nothing short of staggering, The menu options seemed endless. Eg Classic Plates, Breakfast Sandwiches, Small Argonauts Breakfast, Breakfast Desserts, Focaccia's, Piadina,Wraps, Rolls, Salads,Light meals, Hot Stuff, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Cold drinks & Gelato, and the list goes on and on. From the display cabinet I chose a very well prepared fresh home styled Frittata. We enjoyed or lunch and coffee, as we sat outside in the spring sunshine, watching the array of pedestrian traffic walk past.
A. T.
Busy, in a good way. Happy, helpful staff. Good food, delivered quickly to your table.
C. L.
Yep, this place rocks, in services and flavour, but the eggplant was raw and bitter, and the piadina was too dry and biscuit like, both a no no in Italian cooking.
M. W.
Extensive menu, all delicious. Fantastic coffee and great atmosphere. My favourite place for weekend breakfast - highly recommended!
R. E.
Great coffee and meals with vegan options, I enjoyed a burger. Very popular.
L. A.
Holy guacamole what a place! Huge selection of food and drinks and the best hot choccys in town. Make a booking cos this place is popular!
M. G.
Really enjoyable lunch and a good variety on the menu. Drinks were also great and sparkling water on tap is a welcome addition.
M.
Great food, good coffee, friendly staff, owners actually care about their customers, can be extremely busy almost every day so be aware you may need to wait on any given day at any given time.
J. Z.
Their Snickers smoothie is amazing. Also their Buddah bowls are very filling, probably enough for two people.
B. L.
Super busy place. Prepare to wait. Has both outdoor and indoor area. Little bird cage at the back. Very friendly staff. Recommended.
G. E.
Great..... but a money spinner and a trainee carrot and stick / dog and pony show. Exploit the last of the govt funds. Caveat Emptor. Why can't they make Vic Square tick? Don't do a boost juice and water down the juices. It is as plain as daylight.
C. B.
Great food but prepare to wait a long time for it. Soooon much to choose from with catering to all food requirements. Smoothies are great too
B. S.
Amazing service despite being so incredibly busy. The pulled pork Benedict is to die for. I'd visit Adelaide again just to eat here! Thanks guys!
M. C. (.
Always get the best tasty breakfast here as well as fantastic coffee. The only issue is working out what to have on their huge selection of food on the menu
N. F.
Awesome place, really good food if you can get through the menu. Enjoy watching people eat half a meal just because they bought it for Instagram
A. M. (.
Best café in Adelaide as far as I'm concerned! I'm not a vegan, ceoliac or have intolerances but Argo's does cater for everyone. Try the vegan hot chocolate with coconut milk, it's crazy good.

Amazing, but always so busy! But then that’s because it’s amazing so you know, book ahead to get a table!
L. T.
Argo does something no other Adelaide can quite conquer. Not sure if it is the incredible taste, presentation or how hard the staff work non-stop. Its these things that make me come back 4+ times a week, in awe upon every visit.
S. V.
Whilst it does have a strong hipster vibe and is a bit overpriced, the range and quality is great. Vegan+vegetarian options galore, and plenty there for the omnivores too
D. W.
Friendly staff, great food and great service all round. Nice place for a lunch date with friends.

If you are prepared to wait to get expensive hype / healthy food on a date, that's the perfect spot. If you're on a rush or know how to cook basic healthy food, you won't be amazed...

Too busy, too noisy and too expensive. Great for the hipster set but not if you're after a quiet spot to enjoy a meal or coffee.
