Argo on the square is simply awesome!!!! These folk love their food and just as importantly, coffee!!!! Went there because it was conveniently located to our hotel and rated high on Google and we are sooooo glad we did! The coffee was excellent and the food excellent and generous! Make sure you check both sides to ensue you do not miss out on the specials!!!!

Great breakfast place if you fancy something a little different, or even if you are after std breakfast options. Pic 1 is slow cooked pulled pork Benedict and ill definitely be ordering that again! Pic 2 i think was the, well named, big breakfast. Never seen my colleague not finish a meal v Before :) Friendly staff and good coffee was a bonus

As a mushroom lover, I couldn't go past the Mushroom Ragu when I came here for breakfast. It did not disappoint. Everything on the plate tasted delicious. The amount of mushroom on the plate was generous and simply a delight to eat. I've been here twice now and will highly recommend this place for breakfast for anyone visiting Adelaide.

Massive range of options for both food and drinks. Coffee lovers have plenty of choice of milk including soy, almond, coconut and macadamia. Lots of yum food with plenty of variety. Plenty of seating which is lucky given it gets pretty lively during rush hours. Good choice for breakfast or lunch. Mushroom Ragout is a cracker of a dish. Paper straws very much appreciated!

I have never eaten a burger such good it was name Love( something like this it was too delicious to remember the only thing I was thinking was its juiciness) The rest of the food was amazing also and their staff were really kind 👍. Beaware during lunch time there is loads of people.

Consistantly delicious food, sweet potato wedges to die for, but lack of soft furnishings- making it really loud inside. Outside has a very nice seating area, but you'd need to bank on the day being nice.

Really great service on a friday morning for breakfast, the coffee and cinnamon donut hot chocolate were delicious and at our table within 10 minutes of ordering. The food was really good too! Very much appreciated having the option to try any dish that had bacon (which we don't eat) with their vegan bacon instead. Usually I have to forgo most dishes on a menu (particularly for breakfast) because of this but not this time! Thank you Argo, Great experience.

Generous serving sizes, including the coffee is you ask for a large. No butter on the toast. Poached eggs cooked to perfection. The glass store front faces east, so expect sun glare really early in the morning. Menus are hidden by the front door, somehow you're expected to know that as a first time customer-no signs saying "take a menu" or "menus here".

I heard about good coffee here from friends so I Visited few days ago for the first time, it was too busy seemed a bit short staffed then I left. Came back today ordered a latte takeaway, I was the first one in the queue but after at least 5 mins they gave a flat white, I said I ordered a latte, the waitress said “they’re the same thing, have you had flat white before?” There’s no apologies, I asked for refund

Where do I begin! What an absolute gem of a cafe, situated just across the road from Victoria square. Coffee is wonderful, as is the food. A great selection of delicious meals and snacks, some healthy, while others are a little naughty, but even those are filled with plenty of fresh ingredients. I cannot recommend it enough. It's brilliant. Be warned, just like the Argo On The Parade, it gets busy, really busy. Finding a seat is not always a possibility. If so, head over to the square and get some glorious sunshine, while you devour the deliciousness of Argo On The Square.. Highly recommend!

Their white chocolate Mocha is fantastic. I've been going to this cafe for over 2 years & wouldn't go anywhere else. I will definitely visit again soon. 1st class - Mocha and great pricing. Highly recommend everyone to try

Food was nice. Chicken may have been a bit dry. Don't be in a rush, as it took more than thirty minutes to recieve meals at lunch. Could have just been a bad time but it wasn't overly busy.

Very friendly staff and were greeted as soon as we stepped in the door. The food is always delicious considering how busy Argo's can get. The only nit-pick would be how close all the tables are together, when it's busy it's quite tight, however, you need to work with the space you have so it's really a minor issue.

Really nice decor and a good atmosphere. It is on the more expensive side imo - I ordered John's Special with a side of fries and it came to $20 (with no drink). Having said that, the burger was huge. I'm talking huuuuuuge. I could only eat 3/4s of it, and that was really pushing the limits of my stomach. The chips were quite nice too. The whole place is v health concious, so that's a bonus.

This is a great place - the atmosphere is friendly, the location is good, the staff are smiling and personable, the music is great. Ordered a hot chocolate which was absolutely beautiful, however unfortunately the Argo Club Sandwich was a let-down - while the ingredients were nice (onion jam particularly), it was dry (both the bread and the chicken), the bacon was not good, and it was barely warm even though it had been toasted; if it wasn't pre-prepared far before and left sitting around for someone to order it, that's unfortunately what it came across like. Guys, please take the constructive criticism in a positive spirit, the central part of your meal was a big let-down and a deal-breaker on an otherwise very positive experience. Just to mention, a chicken burger they brought out for another table earlier looked delicious and fresh, as did some wonderful-looking pumpkin (?) soup! Lots of wonderful looking snacks in the window, some home-made. Worth exploring.

Good food with a great variety of menu items. For example, my burger had a handmade pattie with Cajun spices, and my juice had ginger in it. There are also more standard options like caesar salad and coffee. The only downside is that the place is always full.
