The owner is so kind and the food well served and with a good price. I had the scones and into was just perfect! We were in our way to mount Gambier and stop by for breakky with my family. The owner gave us tips and she was so open to share a bit about the place. It was a lovely break.

Heidi was such a gracious and delightful host even though she had a full cafe catering for a Christmas party. Without a moments thought she served us a delightful carrot cake and cup of tea, which she served us outside. What wonderful service and happy person. Thank you Heidi.

A little gem discovered by "accident" or was it faith?! As I was traveling from Robe to Adelaide and was looking for a quick stop out of the highway, I spotted this place on my phone which had really good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Not only the building looks really beautiful but I was amazed by the great service (the owner and her staff are absolutely lovely) and so is the quality of the food, coffee, cakes and tea. What was supposed to be a quick stop for coffee became a beautiful lunch and a nice break during our roadtrip. It is located on a quiet road so it is very peaceful and there is a nice outdoor deck for sunny days or you can also enjoy indoor which is really nicely decorated. I bought also local made jam there and almost regretted I did not purchase their homemade sourdough as well as I read great reviews about it (maybe next time). I highly recommend this charming cafe for lunch, cakes and tea/coffee and everything in between, you will fall in love with it and the people!

I ordered a delicious vegan mushroom tart with a fresh salad which was amazing and my friend ordered a serve of their pancakes. Would recommend!

Absolutely amazing, the owner of the hall welcomed us to Wellington and kindly explained to us all of the options for lunch. The chicken ceasar Turkish was delicious! Quality of the food was fantastic. The coffee was also delicious. The lovely owner then offered us fresh fruit to take home with us as we left! If you are passing through wellington you must stop here :)

We were surprised to encounter this excellent cafe just off the highway, on our recent roadtrip. We were intending to pick up some takeaway, but when we saw inside this nice cafe we decided to stay for lunch. I had a delicious salmon and veg frittata with salad. The coffee was good and there is a lovely selection of cakes in the display cabinet. Great service and ambiance.

The Hall Cafe is a must if you’re in the area. We stopped here on our way from Robe to McLaren Vale. My husband had the fig and blue cheese tart and I had the capsicum and cheese tart. Both came with fresh salads which complimented the tarts perfectly. The cakes and desserts looked absolutely delicious but we were too full. Bought locally made sourdough loaf, cauliflower relish and mixed berry jam too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return again when next in the area.

What an incredible transformation that has taken place to this lovely old building. So good to see after driving past it for so many years watching the pigeons take over.
It has been lovingly restored into a cafe that offers great coffee, yummy food as well as local wares.
We look forward to visiting again soon. 😀

We had a very special visit here. Two puppies, three couples, one of whom wanted to steal the tea pot. Food fabulous, staff exceptional who love dogs. Sheltered picturesque spot in a wonderfully restored historic building. Thanks for having us, we will be back from NSW when we can travel freely again

Lovely friendly little cafe. Good service and had a great chat with the lady who runs it. Has a book exchange (donated books always welcome) and the air conditioning inside was very welcome on a 36 degree day. Will make this a regular cafe stop on our travels in future

I was astonished. A quick stop just off the highway, this is city quality coffee in a remote location.

Loved this place. A real treasure if you are driving to the Coorong. Not far out of Tailem Bend and you can visit the Panagrida Botanic Gardens and the cafe before or after. Lovely friendly staff who do the cooking on site.
Enjoyed sausage roll, asparagus and salmon frittata and salad with pot of tea. All fresh and delicious. No space for the cakes which also looked good but I did take a melting moment cookie with me for after. The chai latte was a bit sweet but a minor quibble. Highly recommended.

Delicious eggs benny from this place. Such a good luck to have this closeby to the accommodation because despite as not being many options around, this place has great service, delicious food and beautiful decoration.
