Stopped for lunch a dozen oysters and hubby had the salt and pepper squid and chips. Both the squid and chips were excellent. Will be hard to beat. The oysters were delicious and fresh. Had the same oysters at a restaurant for double the price. Coffee good too.

This place didn't seem to have high reviews and so we were not expecting too much. That said, we were truly surprised with the friendly customer service and tasty lunch for a great price. We actually enjoyed it much more than an expensive 'trendy' place we also visited. Great for a quick stop!

Simple but delicious seafood. Seafood platter for two is value for money which is like a tasting platter which consists of Oysters, fish and chips, squid and prawns. However the the fish and chips is quite a small portion. We added an extra fish and still thought it was too small!

Very good service, relaxing outside dining. Had a dozen oysters with a cider so it was salty, and a little sour with the lemon and then sweet cider. Try it for yourself with Coffin Bay oysters at the Beachcomber.

Dine in or take away. Good coffee. Some supermarket staples. Fishing tackle and bait. A small amount of clothing. Souvenirs. Pretty much cover most things. Meals were nice but slightly pricey. Staff pleasant. Place was well laid out.

Don't go here when busy. Guy has no idea how to run a kitchen and the poor girl working there was run off her feet. Waited an hour for a wrap and 4 burgers!! They were really nice though.

After being denied service at another restaurant down the road the wife and I popped in and fair to say we made a good choice. Despite being very busy we were still served with a smile and a nice little chat and the food...... Absolutely outstanding! We had oysters kilpatrick because why wouldn't you in Coffin Bay and they were excellent. Despite looking like your average fish n chip shop / general store it is truly the place to visit when you want some quality seafood and service. We'll be sure to stop by on our next visit 😉

Good location with a nice deck. Had the full breakfast which was perfect for a long drive back home. Ennkyed the service thoroughly as it meant we didn't have to go back to port lincoln for necessities. Thanks for all the coffees guys!

On a motorbike trip around South Australia recently and did a similar trip last year and made sure we had breakfast at the Beachcomber Cafe at Coffin Bay. Muesli with fruit, yoghurt and milk plus freshly made juice or hot coffee. Very friendly staff. On a lovely morning looking out on the bay is great place to have breakfast.

Very good choice for breakfast, if you like delicious food. Bacon was outstanding (some of the nicest I've had), eggs perfectly cooked and staff were super friendly. Coffee was also excellent. Not sure what else you could hope for. Highly recommend.

This spaghetti is really delicious and has lots of ingredients A serving of 18 Australian dollars contains mussels, shrimp, squid, fish...very good value I have never liked eating oyster raw But because this is the place of production, plus happy hour is only 1 Australian I ordered half a dozen nature and it's delicious with lemon I want to try something else if I have the opportunity!
