This is an I(sans serif) shaped coffee house. A few tables outside n long bench+table top inside provide succour to aching legs+ incite conversation. A brick, wood, high ceilings add to the verve. I wanted a quick- pay-grab coffee n rush outer; was bestowed with one. The gentleman making my coffee rationed his words. Fair enough. I didn't know what to talk either. What mattered was that the coffee tasted warm and mellow, definitely needed on an early Spring morning.

The coffee is always excellent. The service always friendly. It's a lovely little nook on Leigh St is well-established. They also serve breakfast, there's a selection of deli sandwiches and small desserts. Outdoor seating is available, as well as an undercover area for those rainy days.

The chilli scrambled eggs (recommended with added avocado - which was the best presented avo I've had, topped with chia seeds) were so fluffy and absolutely delicious and the toast was perfect (I hate cafe toast that's too hard to cut) I also had a cold brew coffee and it was perfect - brilliant notes and taste and not acidic at all. Really great quality food and coffee here, but service was a bit fragmented and flustered for a quiet Saturday morning. Venue is small so I recommend sitting outside.

Love this hole-in-the-wall cafe. Beautiful coffee, attentive staff and laid back atmosphere. They serve some the most consistently delicious coffee in the city. The baristas here are knowledgeable and make great recommendations. They also offer some discount if you use/reuse keep cups.

I'm slowly making my way through the menu. I can say their chai lattes, caps, lattes and mochas are great. John is very knowledgeable about the coffee too and more than happy to chat to you about it. The service is always lovely. It's become my new favourite coffee spot! Re food. I've only tried the burgers which are reasonably priced. They were fresh and served quickly! Yum!

I came on their re-opening day after a re-fit and though they were having some teething problems and the wait was a little longer than you would expect because of that, the staff maintained their cool and the $2 coffee opening special certainly made up for their opening day hiccups. Well done guys and here’s to a renewed success!

Coffee Branch is definitely a popular and favourite coffee house in the Adelaide's City West. The staff are hip and always very friendly. There is always a crowd waiting for their coffee, sometimes a line is coming out the door! On a Friday, they offer fresh locally made pastries that are to die for (but not good on the waist line!). Great location and easily accessible on your way to the office. Also a great little spot to catch up with a client or team mate as they offer tables outside.

I’ve been buying coffee from coffee branch on and off since it first opened. I rarely go there anymore as parking is super restrictive and the council have essentially destroyed the ability to call past and grab a coffee due to traffic restrictions on Currie Street. That aside I had a meeting in the city this week that allowed me a little more time so I ventured down to grab coffee and was so happy to return and have 2 absolutely fantastic coffees. The clincher for me was watching the barista re pour my ristretto as he wasn’t perfectly satisfied with the first result. You really do not see that level of care that often these days. The service was as friendly as I remembered and the food options though small in quantity are high in quality and would cover most people’s needs. Kudos for caring 💕!

Best coffee and breakfast in Adelaide. We came over for a girls trip from Perth and stumbled on this place by chance. 100% worth the visit. I had the waffle basket with bacon, tomato relish, egg and avocado. Would come back again and order the same thing...... absolutely AMAZING!

Single-estate coffees. Barista duties taken seriously; what comes in the cup is silky smooth. Cheerful, personal service. A “local” worth travelling for.

The first thing that one notices about Coffee Branch is that the baristas use Five Senses beans. This is already a good sign; Bar Nine on Glen Osmond Road, the established king of Adelaide coffee boutiques, swears by them, and I have yet to have a coffee from Bar Nine that isn't outstanding. The same is the case here. My standard fare is either a cappuccino or a mocha, and both have the texture of velvet. Like Bar Nine, coffee at Coffee Branch is dangerously drinkable, and you could go through a huge number of them without a second thought. The shop always has a good selection of sweets - including some pretty enchanting macarons by local Adelaide "food scientist" Alex Crawford - and while I haven't yet sampled the savoury options, they seem popular. The shop itself is small, but don't let that bother you. It's clean and vaguely minimalist, but with just enough crammed in to make it feel like the trendy-yet-cosy favourite cafe that it aspires to be. The staff are always friendly, with that right mix of professionalism and fun, and they don't keep you waiting. If you're in Adelaide CBD and desperately need coffee, Coffee Branch on Leigh Street is not just a good option. It's really the *only* option.
