Comments of Crack Kitchen
J. K.
Crack Kitchen is an clean, established joint with a well thought menu. I had ordered an iced coffee, which was so refreshing I ordered a second, and a brioche burger. The burger was also very tasty, which a nice combination of flavours and textures. Definitely come here for a date, or a vibrant catchup with friends.
N. A.
Went here for brunch and enjoyed a delicious coconut rice pudding arranged so nicely it could have been a bouquet of flowers. Super tasty and great balance of flavours and textures. The wheelchair accessible toilet has the old bank vault for a door which is an interesting feature and talking point.
A. L.
Quite busy, but the food was spot on.
Rice pudding was absolutely fantastic.
Cool little spot with a nice interior, right next to two multi storey carparks which is convenient, too.
M. L.
Service was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Food was awesome - bacon was very tasty, eggs perfectly poached, chorizo excellent with a nice heat and the home made hash browns so tasty. If we hadn't already been full, we would have had dessert.
K. L.
Amazing food, great service, very cool atmosphere. The food was incredible, will be back for the relish alone! Get the fresh orange juice!
F. P.
it’s crackin’ good
🧇 waffle with milk sorbet
🥪 chicken katsu sando
🥙 falafel bowl w/ extra chorizo
🦆 crispy duck lasagne

📍: 13 Franklin Street, Adelaide
📝: It’s a crackin’ good day for brunch. Shoutout to this super cute brunch place in Adelaide. Enjoy a range of sweet and savory dishes that will fill you up and satisfy your tastebuds.
❤️: Really loved the Sourdough vanilla waffle with milk sorbet, soft chocolate, salted caramel, oat biscuit. The flavors went amazingly well together, perfect for a sweetooth. The Falafel Bowl was super tasty and wholesome. And don’t miss out on the Crispy chicken katsu in soft and fluffy thick-cut white bread.
E. D.
Very friendly, modern, and vibrant cafe in the heart of the city. Food is delicious and coffee is absolutely sensational!
A. P.
Really tasty and huge servings for brunch with a great selection for vegans or vegetarians. Quick friendly service and really good coffee would recommend the comfy banquette seating downstairs.
A.
Great breakfast, looked basic but was very tasty. The hash brown, grilled tomato and toasted bread was awesome. Fresh juice was nice too. Takeaway coffee was disappointing. Reservations required for mornings especially weekends
J. H.
Lovely food staff and coffee :)
Beautiful old bank venue!
E. M.
Absolutely delicious coffee, food and great service. The cafe itself is in an old bank building and has been fitted out beautifully. We visited twice during our short trip to Adelaide - completely recommend!
S. G.
Superb long macchiatos.
For breakfast we shared the smoked mushrooms and the Mexican beans with chorizo. Both were delicious but I’ve never tasted anything like the mushrooms- a flavour experience that I can’t recommend highly enough. So glad we booked for lunch today when we couldn’t get in yesterday.
S. G.
This place deserves all the hype it gets. It is beyond expectations. The coffee is incredible, the food is so interesting in the best way possible. The dining experience is one of the best ones I have experienced. The staff make the place even better and the parking is accessible around the place. They are wheelchair friendly and accesible for all including tables upstairs and downstairs, the menu is small enough to be perfected, but large enough to offer a wide range for everyone in the family. The seating is plentiful and wide, airy and light filled. The plants make it aesthetically pleasing and the price range is worth the money just for all of the above. Please, go and try this place.
C. M.
We came back three days in a row. The staff were bubbly and friendly but not too in your face. The menu is so full of interesting flavour combos it was difficult to pick - but the falafel bowl was excellent, and the treats cabinet is stuffed with deliciousness (the pistachio honey cheesecake really took the cake). Nice robust batch brew to round it off.
H. L.
Lunch at @crackkitchen! Overall the food was good, and the service was prompt. Nice and trendy ambiance as well.
.
Southern fried crispy chicken burger, with cheddar cheese, honey mustard slaw: the chicken was nice and crispy, and was tender. Overall good fried chicken burger. The fried were excellent too!
.
Money mushrooms: seasonal mushrooms, tomato, and walnut crumbs, with poached egg: this was super delicious! Loved the mushrooms 😁.
.
The heist: kind of like a big breakfast - all components were nicely done.
.
Enjoyed our ice coffee and hot chocolate too!
T. M.
Amazing venue, great service team and the coffee was very good 👍 Went there a few times in my time in Adelaide, and would recommend for breakfast, brunch or just coffee!
M. C.
Coffee was fairly good, menu was appealing but food didn’t particularly shine. Few items missing from our order too. Overall, pretty good but could be excellent.
C. L.
Amazing coffee, super friendly staff, lasagne to die for.
B.
Nice and fresh food. Had the bacon and egg sandwich with a hashbrown on the side. The hashbrown was not what I expected and was quite flakey and brittle, but fried well and tasty.
T. S.
This has all the potential to be a new favourite Cafe. This place is located just off Victoria Square and has its own unique charm as a craftily converted bank building. I loved the multi-storey options and the retention of some of the old bank features. It has a very light and airy feel but definitely a positive vibe.
There seem to be plenty of sandwich and pastry options available but today was about a coffee date for me. While the coffee didn't pass my no sugar test, with a small coconut sugar teaspoon the flat white I had was lovely and hard to drink slowly!
Definitely worth further 'research' visits to the Crack Kitchen.
T. H.
I absolutely love Crack. Anytime someone suggests brunch I immediately think of this place. The aesthetics are amazing and the food itself is great. Coffee is one of the best I’ve ever had. Prices are also really good considering what you get and the location. I recommend booking in advance during the busier times though.
I. D.
Quite possibly the best shard i have ever received. It put me on a different planet. Good price and even better service, the presence of Laingaz within Crack's food was an absolute game changer.
E. A.
Lovely looking place and nice staff. However food was pretty average. Mushrooms were quite bland, and flavours weren't very exciting, baked eggs were under-seasoned. Portion of the waffles were small, even considering we added the additional buttermilk fried chicken.
C. S.
Its no surprise why we had to wait to get seated at this place. Not much of a wait though, about 15 - 20 minutes.
Friendly service, delicious food and nice coffee.
The curry crab scramble was very mouth watering 🤤
A. N.
Delicious food! I will give 10 starts if I could
A. K.
We love this place! The food is always so delicious, can recommend the brioche bun with avocado, and also the hash browns are really good.
M. L.
Brilliant venue with lovely staff, delicious menu items and incredible coffee. Highly recommend the cold brew, was refreshing and delicious.
J. M.
One of the best brunches I have had in Adelaide. Extremely central with a great menu where you can choose what you want and make adjustments without complaints.
Hash brown was the highlight! Crispy on outside and warm/soft on the inside.
Three storey building with trendy lamps and burrista space.
Will be back!
F. K.
Staff are friendly, place has a simple, clean ambiance. Coffee is very good. Really enjoyed breakfast. Food is a little pricey but servings were huge and we'll worth it.
m. l.
Had excellent rice pudding for breakfast, delicious! Nice light airy space in re-purposed ex-bank building.
D. M.
What an amazing venue? Who would have thought that a colonial era bank could be turned into a modern, crisp and funky cafe space. The bathroom door is even the old bank vault! Apart from that, awesome food menu complimented by a tonne of baked sweets and savouries. Great service, perfectly poached eggs and coffee that’s delicious and will keep you coming back!
J. S.
An unique building and nice vibes! :)
I had pudding which was awesome.
Staff seems to be nice to customers as well☺️
K. T.
The food looked amazing, had a cracking good time. Sadly lost my appetite and look forward to going in three days time while I’m still awake. Highly recommend
M. A.
A nice place. It gets crowded at lunchtimes and weekend. I had a coffee latte, and it was perfect. The only thing they may need to take care of is to clean a table and seat regularly.
L. B.
Breakfast was fabulous had the mushrooms with haloumi yum!!!
A.
This is a great spot for breaky if you're in the city. Location is central, staff are very friendly and accommodating, coffee is delicious! Today we shared the avocado and baked egg breakfast. The smashed avo was nicely balanced with dukkha seasoning. Poached eggs cooked to perfection. Unfortunately the baked eggs with cauliflower was very salty and the eggs a little hard. The concept was nice however, I would return for a second try.
y.
friendly staff, excellent coffee, yummy food
P.
Lovely place for coffee and brunch. Although I wasn't a fan of the duck lasagne the service, atmosphere and BROWNIE get 5 stars. Get the brownie
J. S.
I’ve ate here twice during my 3 day trip to Adelaide. Absolutely delicious food and cold brew
H. J.
I ate my food to quickly to take a photo it was that good! Coffee is great and quick service, plus staff were very lovely and friendly.
S. B. (.
Great food, good coffee and friendly staff.
Love making the trip all the way from Murray Bridge, just for breakfast with one of my best friends. Keep up the good work!
F. D.
Very vibrant and delicious breakfast. Iced coffee was amazing and the service was very friendly with a smile. Atmosphere is also really good. Doesn't feel like you in a compressed cafe. Highly recommended for anyone in the area
F. F.
Just amazing! Simplistic and stylish interior plus phenomenal food and coffee - can’t endorse this place enough! 🤩🤩
B.
This cafe was a great little accidental find on our trip to Adelaide. The brunch is exceptional. Massive servings and such good quality food. The service here is also next level great. We ended up returning a second time because not only was the food awesome, and the fact that they serve cocktails too, but the staff working here are so friendly and welcoming.
A. R.
The term 'excellent' truly applies to this place! The staff were super courteous and friendly. We could only find seats on the upper level when we walked in on a busy weekend but the staff went out of their way to prompt us to occupy seats on the happening ground level as soon as they became available! The coconut rice pudding, Jail bird and prawn toast (specialty of the day) were an explosion of flavours and we devoured every bit with relish. The Green Juice or smoothie (can't recollect which one I had) was THE BEST ever! We definitely would pop in again on our next visit to Adelaide!! Keep it up people and thank you for the wonderful experience.
S. W.
Staff are nice and environment is pretty chill, but the space might be a bit packed. Salmon dish is appetising but the lemon is overly acidic. The coffee doesn't look as good as the Instagram photos... Slightly pricey too.
W. G.
Last visited this place 2 years ago when last in Adelaide. Pleased to say that the food and service have not changed. Coffee was on point and the breakfast I had was great, everything worked well on the plate and was purposefully there. Still recommend this place for their all day breakfast!
R. S.
Amazing food and really good coffee. My favourite of the cafes I went to in Adelaide. I would suggest the pancakes and cold brew. Also really friendly staff!
V. V.
Great Ambience, amazing coffee, amazing food, well mannered and disciplined staff. Very neat and clean. Highly recommended!
L. E.
Really good food and coffee. Guys just please turn down the music got a headache having my breakfast at yours.
Y. “. R.
Great atmosphere, tasty food, beautiful coffee and caring staff. Definitely lovely place♡
H. W.
Amazing food. Fantastic vibe. I’ll be back, for sure!
M. B.
Went for breakfast on a sunday. Was pleasantly surprised it was so busy for the CBD on a cool sunday morning. Our coffees were well made, right temperature and great tasting. The breakfast burger was really fresh and was made with good ingredients. Service was friendly and efficient. Would return again when we are in the CBD on a sunday.
G. P.
This place is a must visit for lunch, if you love food or cocktails or cakes or chocolate milk check it out.
o. o.
Love this cafe and will defo be back! Nice vibes, tasty food and friendly staff 💗
P. S.
Great Coffee, really good atmosphere and food is exceptional - breakfast items are all good - come back for lunch but try and save some room for the cheescake!
G. E.
Very nice cafe with a very interesting toilet door. The lad serving was super friendly and welcoming. Coffee was strong and rich which is just how I like it.
M. S.
Great specialty coffee and delicious breakfast.
The blue swimmer crab scrambled was fantastic 👏
T. B.
Fridays are for the girls 💖 Crack Kitchen was our venue for last Friday's lunch. I ordered the Pork Belly Sandwich ($18), which is clearly a sandwich in the American sense of the word. I didn't realise it had kimchi which was an unpleasant surprise for me, but the kimchi eaters at the table enjoyed it so it must have been decent by kimchi standards. The pork belly was super delicious and soft :) I also had the banana bread to go, which was nice but not amazing. The decor of the place itself is really lovely, with lots of white and plants.
E. B.
Great menu, service was great. Friendly staff and attentive!
S. T.
Great place for brekkie with friendly staff and modern dishes. Coffee was amazing as well. We had the potato dish and the unsmashed avocado dish which were good but not exceptional. The potato dish could do with some bread and the avocado dish had way too much beetroot and feta on it. But all in all, good little cafe to come for a quick brekkie.
B. C.
Amazing food matched by a crack team. A must stop for brunch in the CBD
R. L.
Stunning food and amazing coffee but was pretty slow and seemed unorganised. The staff were really nice but I think they need a bit of extra training and need to communicate better between them to help everything go more smoothly. We saw lots of people have to ask to have their order taken. Was pretty pricey too. - but nice atmosphere, nice music!
H. Y. C.
Ordered a full breakfast on that day. I was so satisfied with the food and coffee here. Everything on my plate was excellent!
J. S.
Really well done with the fit and finish inside. Service was great and so was the food. Coffee was amazing and all came out fairly quickly. Would highly recommend.
J. C.
Only cafe open for miles on a sunday. Over from Melbourne and glad this place was open. Had the breakfast burger with hash brown and an iced long black. Burger was delicious however there is a large amount of bacon in the burger. Took some out and was perfect. Also ordered sourdough scrambled eggs, added spinach and bacon and this meal was huge. Definently bang for your buck here even with the sunday surcharge. The five star review is for the customer service, friendly and attentive staff and kind enough to give us a piece of paper with staff recommended eats and coffee around Adelaide.
A. S. (. f.
Great little nook in the wall serving simple and reasonably priced meals, with great coffee to boot. Friendly service tips it all off.
B. B.
Quiet at 9am on a Saturday. Lovely vibes. Very yummy cocoa nib granola with fresh fruit and yoghurt. Chai latte was well done too. Lovely bathroom and great service.
D. J.
Excellent food, great coffee and a great location while still being reasonably priced. Service was very good and staff were nice.
S. S.
Got the shrooms on toast. Was fairly pricey for what it was. Would have liked more flavour and more depth of flavour.
K. C.
Food was banging. So much more than your standard brunch - bravo!
S. H.
Wishing I'd doing this place sooner in my stay!
The best coffee I've had in Adelaide so far. The Spanish chili brand with haloumi were every bit as good as i was told and the pastry cabinet (thanks to Mayfield) was torture to look at. The staff were cheerful and personable and really rounded out a great experience. Very highly recommended.
M. F.
Fantastic setting, amazing natural light which makes you feel warm and cosy even during the colder months.
The food was presented well with a good amount of food for a reasonable price!
The staff made us feel welcome and served us coffee to start!
Definitely going to recommend this Cafe to friends and family.
J. B.
Great brunch spot. Went multiple times during our trip to Adelaide always a great experience
M. H.
A must every time I’m in Adelaide for Tour down under. Great coffee
K. P.
Very modern place, perfect to pop in and quickly get some work done when it’s quiet. Food are absolutely divine, and so many to choose from.
Definitely recommend and will be back for some more👌🏼
A.
Good breakfast, nice staff, pretty decor. Food was delicious and generally generous (the heist, the hot cakes not so much). Staff friendly, food came after long time and seemed cold. Charged 50 cents extra not sure why.
k. i.
Enjoyed having brunch here. The menu had a lot of variety and the atmosphere was nice. The chicken katsu sandwich had a bit too much mayonnaise, but it was still tasty!
D. H.
Great service and a tasty breakfast with fresh juice and perfect coffee. Highly recommended
l. f.
Great food, friendly staff, amazing pancakes!
A. J.
Great environment, very friendly staff and excellent food options. Staff were more than happy to cater for all food requirements in the group. Definitely will be returning.
V. H.
Had the scallops
The scallops were tasty but the rest was a bit mushy and too salty felt sick afterwards
Would return with higher hopes
M. R.
Quick, friendly service. Food was brilliant, well balanced and tasty. Excellent experience throughout. Highly recommended
S. J.
Wonderful food - fluffy eggs, delicious sourdough etc - and great service, highly recommended. Their banana shake with peanut butter was amazing. And excellent accessible toilets fwiw - good for prams and for those who can’t get around. We’ll be back.
L. C.
Great staff and coffee in a renovated industrial space. There is a Roastery upstairs so it smells delicious all the time. Fantastic first coffee for my Adelaide jaunt.
J. C.
Highly recommend. The vibe and layout is fantastic and the food was great. Little twists on your standard brekky menu. Hat off to the chef, flavours worked perfectly together.
B. C.
Great aesthetics! My partner and I came in on Saturday. He had the mushrooms and I had the waffles. TALK ABOUT MOUTH WATERING!! 🤤 We will definitely be back again. The coffee was so good I had to buy a bag of beans to take with. And the staff working deserve an A++
C.
This place is amazing. Good music, a nice atmosphere with some sort of a comfy-industrial vibe. Staff are very pleasant and the food/coffee is great.
N. H.
Absolutely love Crack Kitchen! Every time i visit i am always greeted with a smile. Love the atmosphere of the place, the coffee is the bee's knees and the food is top notch! Have a bag of their coffee roast at home for the times i can't make it in. Keep us the good work Crack crew!
B.
A beautiful big breaky💜
With a perfect grilled tomato and juicy mushrooms. And it has a comfortable and good interior
F. T. A. C. W.
Crack Kitchen hosted an amazing end of Challenge event for us, they were very easy to deal with and the event went exactly to how we wanted it. Everyone that attended was overwhelmed with the variety of options they had to choose from for different dietary requirements (vegan, vegetarian etc). The food in general was sensational and we couldn't recommend Crack Kitchen highly enough for future events.
Thank you guys we will definitely be seeing you soon!
H. Y.
Staffs were so friendly and the pancake was great:)
T. B.
Amazing. Best brunch in Adelaide imho
P.
Such an amazing place for breakfast. I highly recommend; delicious coffee too.
C. P.
Service was excellent. The coffee was really nice. The Vault breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommended.
M. G.
Delicious food and great coffee! Unique and exciting menu which caters well to dietary requirements. Service was fast and staff very attentive.
A. B.
Cool place, pretty slow service (a very confused waitress) but the food and coffee was worth the wait
K. C.
Always go for the scrambled eggs on toast.
Simple comfort breakfast done right!
R. W.
Great experience, the team were really lovely, the food was fantastic.
T. T.
I’m not normally one to leave reviews but I am consistently floored at how fun and high quality this place is. Staff always wonderful and seem to be enjoying themselves, I love the food and the coffee and the decor! Going recently on a Friday night for delicious local wines and snacks was a highlight. Can’t see this place ever not being my regular
C. J.
Great food and coffee, lovely staff
J. K.
Really enjoyed the food and coffee. Prices are what you expect from a GOOD, funky breakfast joint and when my $24 smashed avo on toast came out, I could see why it was $24... well worth it (and I’m full so that’s a plus!!). Can definitely recommend and we will be back.
B. F.
An amazing full breakfast with delicious, juicy mushrooms. Being close to the Market is clearly a bonus in terms of fresh ingredients. Coffee was great and the service was perfect. The warm sunshine through the side windows was lovely on a cool morning.
C. L.
My partner and I are visiting Adelaide from Melbourne for a four day stay and have ended up coming back every single day.
Nice fit out, delicious food, coffee is the best we’ve had in South Australia and the staff are super friendly. Particularly the brunette girl with the bob cut 👌
C. B.
Lovely food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I was impressed with how quickly our meals came out to a table of 11 on a busy Sunday morning.
T. D.
We had a beautiful breakfast this morning, the bacon was so tasty and eggs delicious! The service from the staff was awesome! We will be back.
R. H.
This was a great café to have brunch at when we stayed over in Adelaide just before the Covid lockdown.
Everything was very tasty I had the Vault breakfast and a latte which were both absolutely delicious.
The only negative was that the cutlery wouldn’t cut the bread.
Might I suggest offering customers cutlery that is sufficient for the purposes of eating their entire meal.
p.
Lovely cafe experience plus nice collection of craft beer by can
R. “. N.
Very nice venue. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
V. N.
Wonderful pancake dish I had this morning. Not overly sweet, just about right 😉
R. R.
Good food, nice ambience and friendly staff
Y. M.
Really delicious food! So many good options it was hard to choose. Bonus points for being open on a Sunday too unlike most other spots.
T. B.
The seasonal mushrooms were the most delicious veggie option I've eaten in a very long time!
N. W.
Very nice coffee, and a delicious breakfast. The mushrooms in particular were fantastic. Slightly on the pricey side, but the food more than makes up for it.
C.
Nice coffee and friendly staffs!!
T. B.
First impression was that we were entering a nightclub albeit at midday on a Sunday with the music blaring heavy beats however once we acclimatised, we were provided with tasty coffee; fresh, well-portioned brunch choices; all in a brightly lit setting with just enough green plant foliage to offset the loud "doof doof" vibes.
A. H.
Love the melted Parmesan slice on the Breakfast brioche bun. Great opening hours for sleepy Adelaide. Fast service even though the place was packed.
T. T.
Went early on a Sunday morning, had no issues getting seated and the service was quick. Had the eggs and sourdough which was good. The lemon ginger tea was not very strong, but definitely a unique take on the tea. Most entertaining part was watching people try to get out of the door. Here is a hint there is a green button to push.
Z. C.
nice food and great coffee :)
N. S.
Walked in on a Sunday for lunch even though it was clearly busy the staff were friendly and informed us of the wait time, we didn't have to wait long at all to be seated. They have a good range of food at really affordable prices, I had the Breakfast Burger, it was amazing, the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger my friend had was awesome the flavor was perfect. The meal sizes were perfect and left us full and happy. I also tried their nutslice ot was perfectly sized and not too sweet either. Definitely will be coming here again!
M. B.
We went here twice for breakfast/brunch whilst visiting Adelaide it was that good..!! The rice pudding for breakfast was awesome and their own roasted coffee was smooth and delicious. Great location in the old bank and using the bathroom in the old bank vault with the solid steel vault door was interesting although a little disconcerting...haha
The staff were friendly and efficient and helped recommend some places for dinner later on as it was a public holiday and many places were closed. Highly recommend this place..!!
M. D.
Pretty great, loved the coffee
P. H.
Excellent strong coffee but a bit pricey. My wife has eaten there and said service was slow and food not great
D. B.
Great food, very friendly staff. It was a pleasant experience. Thank you
N. H.
Good food but they were busy and we had to sit upstairs we were kid of felt we got forgotten about. I get they were busy though. Check it out for the food and coffee!
L. P.
Great food. Great coffee. Great staff. We had the Schrooms and the Salmon bowl and both were delish!
R. Z.
Service is friendly, been there twice, orders been messed up twice.
K. F.
That rice pudding. Freshest most vibrant biz one could put in ones mouth really.
Good coffee too - 15% surcharge? Fair enough,
Good job to their staff too 🤘🏻
S. F.
One of my favourite breakfast places. Great batch brew. Always a top choice for my boyfriend and I whenever we come up from the Riverland.
J. M.
Great spot for delicious house roasted coffee, breakfast, brunch, lunch or a sneaky little afternoon pastry dessert.
k. h.
Loved the banker bowl with salmon, rice, kimchi, rocket and pickles - a delight to behold and eat. Hubby enjoyed the avocado, eggplant on sourdough. Kid enjoyed his burger. Place had good staff, great fresh Food
T. W.
Best cafe in city.
R. C.
Amazing food, beautiful interior & very friendly staff.
K. M.
Trendy and bright atmosphere. Modern interior. Fast service. Good choices on the menu and lovely staff.
J. R.
My daughter and I had a fantastic meal here. Trendy and lovely staff. The food is amazing. Do yourself a favour and eat here!
E. E.
Excellent coffee this morning and very filling and tasty breakfast. Venue is bright and clean, with friendly staff.
B. L.
Really good coffee here. Service was great and quick. Food options are quite healthy with a range of add-on's to suit. Eggs were excellent, as was avocado and mushrooms with whipped goats curd delicious!!
Modern funky decor fitted out in a n old bank utilising the original vault door as the toilet entry
O. D. y.
Lovely place to stop by for a coffee and cake, especially the cheesecake! I love that you can get complimentary sparkling water and the staff are always very friendly. Only negative is that the food is a bit hit and miss, somethings are great, others lack in flavour
J. O.
Very busy so I didn't get served for 20mins but thats understandable, eggs were cooked to perfection and the hand made hash brown was amazing. I would go back here 100% but maybe not on a Sunday morning
C. M.
Came here for a sneaky weekday lunch. Had the green eggs and ham dish which was delicious. Thought the menu was great with a few different options from your standard Cafe fare. Great coffee too, would recommend for brunch
J. P.
Great coffee and nicely done new-style-casual-fancy-cafe food (you know what I mean). Great for brunch.
Y. Y.
Well fed with The heist with haloumi but Jail Bird was tend to be mediocre. Decent coffee with nice ambience. In terms of price-wise, prolly little bit high but still affordable. Overall, great brunch place in heart of Adelaide!
B. C. D.
Crack is a fantastic spot with great food, coffee and juice. Highly recommended!!!
C. C.
Ordered a salmon bagel and cappuccino.
Good caffeine. Loved the pickled onion on the bagel. However, why only cream cheese on one side of the bagel? Makes it really dry and had to Chuck most of the top (best part)
A. C.
Food was OK. Service was reasonably quick. Pricing is a bit high for what they serve. The big table on the mezzanine/landing is off limits for small groups but never saw anyone use it while I was there. Not a bad experience but wouldn't rush back to it.
C. B.
best coffee I've had in a long time but I wouldn't recommend for lunch, average
S. M.
Here on a Sunday morning . Coffee arrived cold after waiting a fairly long time. It was quite busy and we were directed to a table upstairs but then told we may have to be moved if a large group came in. What a way to have a relaxing Sunday breakfast. Left with out having breakfast.
T. B.
One of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time
A. P.
great food, service and coffee
N. H.
Good food but they were busy and we had to sit upstairs we were kid of felt we got forgotten about. I get they were busy though. Check it out for the food and coffee!
A. I.
Amazing breakfast.
E. D.
So so good. Great food, variety, price and service.
A. D.
Superb! Especially Palmers special sauce 😉
M. B. (.
Great breakfast choices and an amazing building!
N. S.
Very aesthetic place, great coffee, good food.
L. F.
Really good vegan meals! Coffee was delicious too, will be back 😍
A. I.
Cool venue and impressive menu but prices are high ($5 for a small coffee), quality is average the service was abysmally slow (15+ minutes for takeaway coffee).
N.
The Vanilla Bean Pancakes and cappuccino were amazing!
J. H.
The best coffee I have had ("Flat White"), nice atmosphere. Great Place! Little pricey though, but it is worth it
A. K.
I've been to Crack a couple of times now and it's very nice. A little on the pricey side, but the service is pleasant and the food is great. The interior is fun and comfortable. Coffee is strong and well made.
G. L.
Food is good quality, flavour is ok. Ambiance can get a bit loud as the place is popular with families, especially on the weekend. Overall a nice place.
G.
The coffee here is delightful. I'll be back at some stage. Would have been nice if the milk was presented with the coffee initially though.
J. F.
Great coffee, every time. Fast and friendly service. Haven't tried the food, but looks pretty good.
T. C.
The money mushrooms was excellent and very filling. I'm looking forward to having it again.
D. B.
Food is really good, but the coffee was a let down, coffee was burnt and milk was over cooked.
W. I.
Need blinds to stop intense morning light shining through. Otherwise very nice place. Love the toilet doors, makes you feel SAFE. Need to see it to understand what I mean
J. M.
The coffee and the food were certainly reasonable however the service was pretty poor. Staff are not wholly to blame as the place seemed ill-equipped to handle the busyness of the morning rush. Coffees and food were forgotten for concerning amounts of time. Was a little unpleasant, but hopefully will be better next time.
B. G.
Best Cafe I have ever been to for breakfast and coffee a must when in Adelaide you won't regret it.
G. B.
Unbelievable. Had the most stunning breakfast here today. Poached eggs, beatriot purée, salsa verde Abdul’s crispy bacon. Off the hook.
Green juice was a fabulous compliment.
Additionally sensational coffee.
j. P.
Excited to come back and try more of their menu. Amazing coffee with in house roast and awesome service
K. L.
Has cool decor and nice staff, but that's about it! If you're in the area, might be a good choice for lunch but not worth going out of your way to visit. Typical overpriced and mediocre cafe!
T. P.
Awesome coffee and great food options. Can be a little bit busy but it’s well worth the wait. Try the liquorice bread!
M. W.
Great coffee, great service. Also not too far from the office. I probably should try the food one day!
K. C.
Went for brunch today and had the Vanilla Bean pancakes, delicious. Coffee perfect. Service excellent. Will definitely be back. Thanks Crack
S. “.
The crack breakfast has everything a big breakfast eater wants
I. F.
Had breakfast there two days in a row. Great menu and we all enjoyed the food, potatoe rosti with poached eggs and salad, classic unsmashed avocado etc and excellent coffee.
K.
Food is always good here. Roast their own coffee, staff friendly, cool building and ambience. Often a wait, but still worth it
E. B.
Good coffee, roasted on site, and nice food. Clean and open with big windows letting in a lot of natural light so it creates this nice bright space to either dine our just have coffee.
A. C.
great food a little expensive and on top of that be aware of the surcharge on weekends. ended up being $74 for my partner and i 2 meals and 2 drinks! most expensive brunch ive ever had i think.
H.
Nice food and friendly staff🥰
L. J.
Had a really awesome breakfast meal, The Feist. The mushrooms were astounding and my favourite part. Will be going again
R. L.
Really loved their coffee and breakfast I had was called magic mushroom, it did not disappoint. The serving portion was a little bit small, but that's just my opinion.
M. W.
Loved the selection, nothing less than stellar for all three of our meals. Great service, friendly staff. Will be back!
M. G.
Really nice food, coffee, atmosphere and building. Food took a long time to come out but it was a very busy Sunday morning. Worth the wait
A. R.
Good food. Music was a bit loud for my liking. Food took a long time to come out. They were busy, but 30 minutes for egg on toast was a bit long.
H. B.
Great food however the bread crusts were even too hard for the knives to cut through.
B. K.
Great coffee. Great service. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Little bit pricey but it's very popular.
P. S.
Best Breakfast in adelaide! Healthy, fresh and great vibe! Love that is in an old bank building. The staff are also extremely helpful and friendly
D.
Great friendly service in a beautiful setting, a nice place to sit down for a coffee and some cafe food. Sadly the coffee wasn't up to scratch and overly milky and a weak.
R. M.
Excellent coffee, and I've had a couple of their sandwiches too, they're fantastic. Recommended.
T. M.
Good southern fired chicken burger and most.of all great coffees. Went there on a weekend and just managed to get a seat with a few friends. Early bird gets the worm.
L. F.
Really good vegan meals! Coffee was delicious too, will be back 😍
P. H.
One of the best coffees I’ve ever had, the service was second to none and my family and I loved the happy staff
J. B.
Bright and comfortable space, and friendly attentive service. Very happy with the black pudding salad. Nicely balanced and tasty.
T.
Average Food and Coffee, don't expect service on Sundays (definitely not worth the surcharge)
T. T.
Fantastic staff very friendly. Food excellent. Highly recommended
T. W.
Food and drinks were good, staff were polite but then wait time was quite long and a bit pricey for the quantity of food.
M. H.

Loved it. Perfect Sunday morning breakfast. Lovely atmosphere. Great food, coffee and service.
T. B.
Good food and coffee. The wait staff coped well with a somewhat frazzling group of about 10 that came in on a Saturday morning while still juggling all of their regular weekend rush.
S. P.
Fantastic food and coffee. Staff were kind and professional.
L. G. M.
Went in today and received amazing customer service from all team members + the food and drinks were delightful. Would definitely go back 😁
H. J.
Went mid afternoon. Lovely and quiet. Very friendly staff. Drinks came out quickly. Cakes look sensational
R. C.
Great place but really need more or faster staff. I sat down at 9 and by 9.20 still didn’t have my simple brekky. If you’re not in a rush definitely recommend.

M. P. M.
Very good food!
E. D.
So so good. Great food, variety, price and service.
T. W.
The food was nice, but the beverages were very watery and would not be listed among my favorites.
M. F.
New go-to place for brekky! Wow! Serves are generous, the food is delicious and the service was great too. If only parking was better!
J.
Great coffee and breakfast food. Nice and central in the city.
R. R.
Good food. Seemed a bit rushed or micro managed with the seating, even though there wasn't too many people around yet.
T. W.
Great coffee and interesting/ delicious food options. Friendly staff and attractive decor.
M. G.
Great tasting food! Too much of a long wait though. Had to wait 40 mins for brunch.

Super enjoyable experience, for me though the plain scrambled eggs were the highlight. A great balance of flavour, texture, wetness. It’s great to see such a staple executed so well.
Great variety of coffee styles on offer to try something different.
