Best Brekky we have had south of the city in a long time. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our Chai's were just warm and we asked for them to be heated in the microwave, but they replaced them with 2 steaming hot new ones - great service. Thank you - we will be back.

Had a very enjoyable family meal at Deep Blue last night. They happily accommodated my request to change a medium to mild Thai Green Chicken Curry. We came here for breakfast and we left very full and satisfied after a delicious meal. Coffee was great, the food was so tasty and in generous serves - so much so that we couldn’t finish everything. Our server was friendly and attentive and being 100% table service (from ordering all the way to paying) was definitely a nice touch. Beautiful view and although it was windy, we chose to sit outdoor to enjoy the sunshine. We’ll definitely be visiting here again!

Quaint coffee shop by the beach. Excellent location, friendly staff, reasonable prices, good food. I would have like to see more vegetarian options on the menu. I had the gourmet vegetarian pizza, which was really nice. However if you're not wanting pizza, there were only few vegetarian/vegan options.

The food was super delicious, and the prices were reasonable. This place is beachfront, so the views from the outside dining areas are super! There is a batbroom if you need, and it is very clean 🙂 Also, given how the business had a lot to deal with, with all the covid restrictions currently in place, the staff did a superb job and were polite, calm and friendly. Popped in here just looking to have a relaxing coffee by the sea after anxious morning.. warm & friendly staff took me to a lovely sunny, protected corner inside looking at the beach. I decided to have some freshly grilled garfish, which the chef allowed me to have with a bright fresh salad with feta cos of my food allergies, & a glass of savvy. I'll definitely be returning with friends & recommend to family as well.

Used to be our local cafe and it never disappoints. Recent roadtrip brought us back - where else would we go? No where! Always great food, generous portions, excellent staff, great beach vibes and plenty of indoor or outdoor seating - go and enjoy.

My husband and I went here for dinner a few years ago and loved it, however my experience today was not so good. My friend and I went there at around lunch to have some chips and get our kids some ice creams. We were seated out inside (as requested) but in a fair bit of sun which we had to try keeping our kids out of. We were told we’d be served shortly but waited and waited (with our kids becoming more and more impatient). My friend went inside to ask about service and try ordering in there but they just repeated that they’d be out shortly. Again we waited and waited and eventually decided to go elsewhere because we were hot, bothered and had some kids who just wanted their ice cream! A bit disappointing, especially when we saw other tables being served when they’d arrived after us (and didn’t have grumpy kids to also please).

Wow stumbled across this vibrant colourfull building along and turns out it’s a bustling cafe. Seating outside definitely offers views of the beautiful beach and sand. Seated inside will also have an interesting view with all the decor surrounding tables. The staff a quick and courteous. The restroom are spacious and also lined with interesting framed pieces. Food was good and didn’t wait too long even though it was extremely busy. It also offers takeaway options in case you want to order to go & sit on the beach.

Was luckily enough to attend here after the Psychic Fair. We did not have a booking and it was extremely busy however the staff were soooo good with us they made sure we had a table and for that we made sure to order another round of cocktails to what was supposed to be just a little cheeky drink. Onion Rings were so damn delicious we almost argued over them. The cocktails were HUGE and boy were they strong. Ambience was fantastic, we eyed off many dishes coming past and will most definitely come back again once we make the trip back to Moana. Thankyou for an amazing afternoon!

Unfortunately we went there for birthday lunch today and some of the food was inedible. The salt and pepper squid was too salty to eat for 2 of our party. They offered to make another meal for us to take away as we were leaving, but would have preferred a refund. The other meals we had were very nice and generous size. The pricing was on the upper end for cafe meals in my experience. Overall disappointing and we are unlikely to go back.

Good Drinks menu....not extensive but local and appropriate for Cafe dining. Have been going to Deel Blue since it opened many years ago..never been disappointed. Always busy, for breakfast dinner and Evening meals. Has 3 sitting areas, inside, verandah, and outside. Although its by the beach it is very cosy in the Winter, so year round dining. Suitable for families and pets! Best seafood pizza and Seafood in the South but than that could be said about the well cooked and presented meals at this charming beach Cafe.

Not the best experience, asked for poached runny eggs and got hard boiled eggs. Had to chase up our drinks 3 times after waiting a long time after already finishing the meals and ended up getting the wrong drinks brought to us in the end. The girl who served us was friendly and the location is nice and I like that you can bring dogs along too, thats what the 3 stars are for.

Oh my gosh, this place is Amazing!! Deep Blue Cafe is a hidden gem. Located on the beach front of the majestic Moana beach, this colourful cafe is host to some of the best coffee and food in the South. The service is always fabulous and the staff are welcoming and friendly! Highly recommend!!

Don't let the garish colours of the building put you off, a lovely rustic charm inside, and you can see waves from some spots. Right next to the beach. The food came out so fast. Coffee was nice. They do breakfast until 11:30am. The lunch menu starts at 12pm. This place is a lot bigger than I remember and with indoor and outdoor seating, you might be able to get a sea view if you sit in the right spot. It is the only cafe in the area. Staff were attentive even though the place was busy. Strangely, we were asked to pay the bill before we requested it. Efficient? Either way, I'd go back.

straight up some of the best customer service and pizza I've ever had Ordered a couple of pizzas and they must have misheard and accidentally made one of them wrong. They instantly got the right pizza in the oven for me, gave me a free coke and then 5 mins later had the right order in my hands, they even let me keep the extra one they'd made by mistake free of charge. That and the pizza is absolutely top notch 👌👌👌 Hats off to this place

Deep Blue has a quirky but comfortable atmosphere. Had the Eggs Benedict which was a very generous serve. Will definitely go again when I next visit mum in Adelaide.

Place comes highly recommended, however I found the menu limited. Outside of vanilla finish and chips for takeaway, there's not much. What they offer is nice, but if you are after bogan beach essentials, Chiko rolls etc, you might want to look at alternatives. Also this place is busy on hot weekends, given it's the only joint close to the beach, so be prepare to wait, even with a pre order. Hot tip, don't park your car in the adjacent car park unattended. In the short time we were there, two separate incidents with incompetent drivers who probably should hand their license in, crashing into others try to parks.

Really love this place! My partner, myself and our dogs are such regulars here. Our favourite is the Fish and Chips of the Seafood basket. Such a great serve to share between the two of us! Atmos- good. Quirky, colourful cafe/takeaway right on Moana beach nestled between some derelict buildings . Option to sit outside and eat by ocean. Spacious dining room with heater inside. Menu- average. Pizza, spring rolls and basic options. Has fish and chips on takeaway menu as you would hope from a beachfront takeaway but there are limited options for this- only hake and salt and pepper squid to choose from. Alcohol available. Meal- good. Both grilled and crumbed hake quite nice options, better than most greasy spoons. Grilled hake was nicely buttery and herby. Crumbed had nice browned crumb. 1 fillet per $11 dollar pack. Nice thick cut chips, however they put chicken salt on the chips without asking. Would have preferred normal salt and more of it. Cheap packaged tomato sauce and tartare included. Nice presentation in cardboard box as opposed to styrofoam. Best eaten in car on beachfront, although there is a nice dining area. Service - trendy young staff, very polite and efficient.
