Nice narrow Dutch themed cafe near the centre of Port Adelaide. Great quality coffee with a range of snacks including a Dutch food menu. Didn't try any of the food but the Uitsmijter sounds delicious.

Wish this was 5 stars. Bought a takeaway coffee, was SO good, really delicious. But then purchased 1kg of beans, for $58, and was given a bag that was already over a month old. The beans really aren't up to scratch, and seemed like he just wanted to get rid of old stock rather than provide a great product, so was quite disappointed with that.

The friendly owners made me a deliciously rich and slightly bitter Dutch hot chocolate and a mushroom thyme & Swiss cheese gf toastie. Soooo good. Pop in for a warm cuppa and a delicious bite to eat while perusing the neighbouring shops in fascinating old Port Adelaide.

Absolutely awesome. Great food, amazing coffee, so good I got a second one to go. Had the french toast, the caramelized bananas were worth the wait, and the walnuts and strawberries made all the difference, balancing it really well. Definitely coming back whenever I have the chance!

Best coffee you will find in the western suburbs of Adelaide. (Possibly all of Adelaide!) The owner is a wealth of knowledge on anything coffee and enjoys a yarn, so don’t be shy! Delicious cakes and pastries also available.

If you Love coffee, you'll LOVE this place. They take their coffee very seriously. They weigh out the ground coffee for every individual cup and time the pour to make sure it's not too fast or too slow. They use Degroot Coffee, which is the best I have come across. They also make THE BEST vanilla and strawberry muffins! The perfect morning is long black and muffin. I literally think about it every morning when I get up. Do yourself the biggest favour and get there!

Not a place I would come to again, but if you love strong coffee then I'm sure it'll float your boat. They only offer Tea, Coffee or a very small selection of some fruity soft drink. No fruit juices, smoothies etc that I expect from a cafe of this style.

Amazing coffee, delicious food + friendly staff. The meatball roll was fantastic! Well seasoned with roasted capsicum, fried onion, gerkin and mustard - heaven :) Opa's Bagel (curried egg & chicken, thinly sliced cucumber and rocket on a dutch-style poppy seed bagel) was also a fresh and tasty take on a classic oldie. We'll be back to taste the rest of the menu.

Dutch Coffee Lab (DCL) offers very decent coffee in the Port Adelaide area. It was a recent exploration but having been twice now I've been impressed with the coffee (flat white) served; smooth, consistent and the correct amount of milk foam. The symbolic yellow couch out the front seems to often be occupied by regular customers and the broad footpath tables are friendly to those accompanied by furry, four legged companions. The downside to sitting outside is the busy, noisy and frequent truck noise of St Vincent Street. Despite other reviews suggesting frumpy or gruff service, I have yet to experience this. Service was a little slow this morning as the barista favoured takeaway orders; they seemed to get a brisk service. Judging by the frequency of those happily walking out with trays of coffee, DCL seems to be a go to caffeine fix for other traders in the area. DCL has a room at the back of the premises that is enhanced by some local photographic art works. It actually looks like it would be a cosy spot for a coffee with friends in colder weather.
