What a gem in the side streets of North Adelaide. We kicked breakfast off with a glass of champagne and sat on the first floor, with sweeping views of Wellington Square in front. Friendly service and great food + coffee - put it on the list!

Nice for a coffee or snack in the morning. Popped in with two others, coffees were good and they were happy to help with adjustments to the orders. Dinner menu and special sound good and venue looks like it would be quite nice for an evening meal. Dogs are welcome and catered for with some fake grass, water, and even their own doggie snack menu!

Great place for brekky .. coffee was very nice.. Great service from both the girl serving us and the girl making our coffee... No probs to change or add a couple things to meals.. Went out of their way to make us feel welcome and meals were terrific. 2nd time we've been there when visiting Adelaide...will be back again

Food came pretty quick. A little pricey but quite good. My daughter had the muesli with yoghurt. The yoghurt was really runny, she wasn't keen. I had the big breakfast, was good. Poached eggs nice and soft. Hash browns were home made. A little unusual, leek and potato. Definitely different to the norm. Nice atmosphere.

The coffee is really quite terrific here, the service is pleasant enough but won't say great, but there is certainly no hustle among any of the staff. Great coffee just be prepared to wait (every time, not just one off)

All day breakfast but closes at 3.00pm. Reasonably good selection of food and wine as well as foccacia and toasties. Nice sitting outside when weather fine but can be a bit noisy with traffic. Really background noise. Good service and staff pleasant.

We found them while walking our dog and as it was about 12:30pm on a Sunday and were struggling to find somewhere serving breakfast. We were almost going to give up and walk in a different direction but so glad we did not. One nice touch is they were dog friendly and so we gave them a go (plus they did brekky) and on that they even have a menu for the four legged friends, fantastic idea! We ordered coffee, eggs Florentine with additional ham and bacon and a serve of eggs with some very tasty mushrooms. All of the food was perfectly cooked, tasty, of generous proportions and the presentation was also excellent. As the coffee was so good we took a couple away for the walk home which were also nice. I would definitely return not just for the food but also the service as the staff on that day are a credit to themselves and the owner. Our Husky also loved all of the attention and we will certainly spread the word about this establishment so well done to all!

Marvellous food. Strongly recommend the arancini and the cheese donuts. Happy hour gives half price drinks too. Helpful and friendly staff make this a perfect place for a quick meal before a concert.

Came here looking for any breakfast place that was open. Very pleased with this place. The breakfast burger I ate was delicious and well made. The mocha took a little bit longer to come but it was also superb. I appreciate when effort goes into coffee rather than speed. Staff were genuinely friendly and very attentive. Left feeling full and happy. I recommend coming here.

Fab spot for brunch witb decent outdoor seating on the park but also lots of room inside. The date and apricot smoothie was a highlight- sounds like an odd combination but well worth a try. Also highly recommend the homemade hashbrowns! Fab presentation and good service

A hidden gem in North Adelaide, located just off the O'Connell street. Great place for breakfast and brunch. They also have a private space upstairs for intimate private functions

The menu is not expansive, and it doesn't need to be. The food they provide is excellent, with good flavour combinations. Prices could be a little lower, but it's certainly not unexpected. They will loan you a picnic basket and blanket for $5 if you want a picnic in Wellington Square. Edit: assuming they can sort out some issues with the local council, they plan to open during the evenings as a wine bar a few nights a week.

New fit out, the atmosphere is just right. Slightly chilled out and very relaxing. Lovely De Groots coffee and wide selection of food from an all day breakfast menu or a well varied lunch selection. Highly recommended.

The coffee here is truly amazing. I'm serious. You can tell the difference! I can't get a coffee this good anywhere else. However, I hate the environment. The place is cold, the chairs are uncomfortable, the furniture and the walls are ugly. I also went once and seriously couldn't stand the music, although today they were playing my favourite artists. So that's wildly variable. But I will keep going back because you just can't find coffee this good anywhere else!
