What a find! One of the best cafes in Australia, that reminded me of favourites back in London. The open kitchen with the team preparing delicious food is of a really high standard. Great presentation for Insta obsessed, but the winner is fresh food and delicious taste. Coffee that would put Melbourne’s cafes to shame and they’re consistently great with different baristas. If good food, great coffee and friendly service matter, bookmark this place!

I’m not really price sensitive in these kind of breakfast places but it’s not cool to only have a menu on the blackboard without any prices. When I asked for a menu with prices I was told to go to the counter and I would be told by the staff about the prices. This can cause unnecessary embarrassment for some and whilst I’m sure there are plenty of clientele here that maybe don’t care about the price it’s a cynical ploy.

Hidden gem in Chinatown. Went for a quick break during the day. The display of the cakes and bread were amazing and I couldn’t resist to walk out without tasting one of them. Amazing coffee as well. It was quite busy already given it was a 5day morning. Well done staff for your friendly service. Even it was busy but it was great they didn’t hint you to leave early. Will definitely come back.

Heard great things and did not disappoint. Busy but service was quick. Was after a morning coffee and a sweet. Almond croissant was packed with almonds which was sweet but paired with a long black worked wonders. I believe I will try the toasted sandwiches next they look so good.

After having brunch here, I decided that the combo of sourdough, bacon, eggs and avo is my absolute favourite Western breakfast. It was that good. Every component of this dish was fresh, well seasoned and delicious. The coffee was perfect as well. Highly recommended! 💯☕️🥓🍳🥑🍞

Quality of pastry is always second to none, unless a young girl says I think the oven is off and just chuck the pastry in the microwave to warm up as the time is still 2:30pm. It’s a shame having to ask twice to warm up. But still using microwave and it came out as a soggy pastry. The young girl needs to be trained properly to do customer service. But the positive point is when the manager took the same order last time, she warm it up properly and put it on a plate with smile.

Great breakfast spot. I had the godfather toastie with prosciutto and mozzarella and a cold drip coffee. The coffee was really nice. They do good scrambled eggs that would even make Gordon Ramsay proud 😝 Customer service was good too.

Such a hidden gem! Slightly removed from the Gouger St / Central Market precinct, but it's well worth detouring. I've visited many times now and keep coming back for the excellent coffee, pastries, toasties and staff. There's a small but varied menu, and always an amazing range of pastries. I love that there are newspapers and magazines available to read, as well as purchase, and have even bought a last-minute gift from the shelf of gourmet food items! Go and do your shopping, then head here for some calm after the bustle of the markets.

Turkish bread thingy with egg n onion n bacon yummy. Bacon was overcooked in Bacon n eggs dish. Tables are too small. Chairs not very comfy. Too much clutter around. Needs redesigning in customer seating. Put an enclosed verandah ( plastic blinds) out front with patio gas heating for winter perhaps. Croissants too flaky n overcooked. Coffee quite nice.
