We ordered a beef patty burger (24$) and a build-your-own choice and Cured Ocean Trout (23$). The food tasted delicious and we super liked the garnish! The size and proportion of 2 of dishes were quite stingy compared to what we paid for. The service was amazing and the environment with the natural plants was exactly what we wanted after a long day.

This café has changed my opinion about 2021 entirely. What a great year! I just received exceptional service and a meal of such perfection I’m just ecstatic. There’s so much to try on the breakfast menu, amazing options for vegetarians and vegans and just, wow. If you’re stuck for choice, try the soul bowl.

Service was a little slow, although it was a public holiday. Food wait times were 45 minutes but we were told on arrival, so communication was good. The food was quite tasty. I had the Seoul Bowl. Majority of staff were wearing their masks appropriately, except for the main waiter, which was disappointing to see.

Lovely atmosphere and very nice customer service was provided, the coffees were great, the 70’s styling and plants made it very comfortable and relaxing. Only thing I would have liked would have been my muffin heated up as it was a little dry, but it was the end of the day so can’t complain much. My dads GF Cookie was really nice and overall it was a fantastic visit and we will be going back!

Walked into this place on a public holiday on my first visit to Adelaide and felt immediately welcome. Great chill vibe with a funky decor, friendly staff, amazing broad menu, and tasty coffee. If I lived in Adelaide I think this would be a regular weekend brunch for me. I had the Huevos Rancheros Kingdom style which was a great vegetarian option, and my partner had the Seasonal Avo on sourdough which was super fresh.

Good atmosphere, very friendly staff and delicious, high quality food. Very clean and sanitary environment and all the plants really blur the outdoor and indoor spaces and make them vibrant. Manu has a good amount of options with Vegan, Gluten and Dairy free alternatives available. Having said that, I felt that the menu was a little bit overpriced. I payed around 26 dollars for a chicken bowl which had a rather small serving of grilled chicken. Plus another 10% for weekend surcharge. Nothing that ruined the experience and you're really paying for quality over quantity but personally would have liked some more meals below $20 for lunch.

I visited a few cafes in the south west corner of the CBD this week, and this was definitely my favourite. Good job team Kingdom!

First time I went, it was a nice experience for being busy but the second time it wasn't even busy but we probably waited for about 25-30mins for our lunch. When mine got there (the tuna on 'bread') it was very disappointing both in size n taste (bland in flavour). It was more like a generous but expensive starter than a lunch meal option! The desert was yum though - on display n got to order at counter.

Amazing little gem of Adelaide. We went there for our first kid free brunch in a really long time so had high expectations. We were not let down the food was amazing with a hmgood size range. We tried the Shakshouka (we had no idea what the dish was like before hand) . Bit disappointed with this dish... It was cooked in a tomato base, and that's you basically what you taste. The herbs and spices were very mild. Also tried their locally roasted seasonal cappacino, and that too like most cafes, was weak and "latte-like". There are also various cakes on offer, the Fig and raspberry tart was quite nice, but the Persian cake wasn't to die for.

If you are looking for a hipster coffee place, this place will do. If you want a filling breakfast, be careful of what you order. Certain meals may be too small to satisfy even the least hungry of people. Also, be prepared for a long wait. It seems the staff do not communicate with each other and the kitchen as effectively as expected. As tourists, it was not a nice surprise to have to wait 40 minutes for our order for some waffled and a sandwich.

Came for brunch during the week and was let down by the lacklustre service. We were waiting ages for our menus and our food sat on the counter for some time before it was brought to us. When we got our food, we didn't yet have our cutlery. It was not busy at that time and I suspect the wait staff were in cleaning mode, but still, good service shouldn't only belong to busy weekend times. The food itself was good, but not unique or special compared to other cafes. If the food had been amazing it might have made up for the inattentive service. Not sure if I will be returning.

Lovely cafe but guys you are still just a cafe. Greeted by a sign states 'wait to be seated'. We wait and a waitress asks us what we would like. Well I suppose to be seated. I order a coffee. Good retro fit out, it’s been well designed. However, I’ve been here a lot over the past few years, I had hoped it had changed but the service is still very slooooow. I think for the price you pay it should be better. They seem used to apologising to everyone for the slow service. The coffee took 15 minutes and food was beyond 40+ minutes. Be prepared for slow service.

One of those great places that has extensive food and amazing coffee! Baristas are passionate about coffee and know what is going through their machine, (and V60) Beans are ground onsite and can be purchased also. Have been here several times and have never been disappointed!

A super funky 70s-styled cafe in a sleepy corner of the Adelaide CBD. The food here is inventive, diverse and most importantly delicious. While catering to a variety of dietary requirements (vegan, vego, gluten free) there are plenty of options for those carnivores out there! The authenticity with which MKFH approaches its style (down to the enamel water carafes) sets it apart from other cafes whose attempts to shoot for a particular feel seem contrived, or partial at best. Ikea "vintage" paraphernalia doesn't stack up when compared to the genuine article. The last stand out is the staff. Chilled, while being attentive and professional. Not in a rush, but conscientious enough to regularly check in and make sure we were well looked after. Highly recommend a stroll over to the South West CBD corner of a morning to check these guys out!
