This place is #vibes. A small little Cafe with cute plants and D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S. food. Has lots of Gluten free and vegetarian options. Some vegan options. Has a cute little side alley leading to the cute back area where doggos are welcome. We would have eaten out there if not for the Fing flies harassing us on an day 17 of muggy Adelaide days. The staff are super super friendly. Like... epically considerate and friendly af. Making this my local fasure!

Small cozy shop that is easily missed. But what a find. Portion size is decent. And the fried chicken was delicious. But not as crispy. French toast slightly sweet with spongy texture. Poached eggs cooked just right. Coffee size is big for the 'large' but just a tad bit diluted.. Flavour combination is pretty good overall.

We finally got a chance to try this place. I had the special: Hoisin Tofu roll with potato gems, added extra chicken. I believe they have the best potato gems (tater tots) I've ever had. Will we be back? Of course! We saw a lot of interesting items on the menu that we are yet to try.

Really nice cozy cafe on Henley beach rd, its very popular so be prepared to wait out the front during weekend brunch hours. Food was great, good portion size and came out fairly quickly. Lots of cool decor and plants on the inside give it a nice cozy atmosphere. Good range of things on the menu, all at the prices youd expect a nice cafe to have these days. The waiter was a bit flustered and forgot our order a few times, but they were quite apologetic and came out with drinks pretty quickly. Overall really nice cafe and would highly recommend to anyone in the inner west.

This menu mixes brunch classics with interesting flavour profiles and aesthetic presentation. With both indoor cafe style seating, and a little outdoor seating area around side alley which had a nice quiet environment and a nice breeze. The food is incredibly good, and the chef did a great job of making it stand out from other brunch restaurants with their skill and attention to detail. No matter what you get, I HIGHLY suggest you get a potato rosti on the side. Thank you to the waiting staff for being so friendly and accommodating ☺️

I regularly get coffee from Pixie and the Hawk - 1. because it's really good coffee, 2. because the staff are really friendly no matter how crazy busy they are and 3. because they are of the few places open on a Sunday in the area. I've never eaten there but it's on my list because the menu always looks amazing. While I'm waiting for my coffee I drool over the menu and the plates coming out.

Out of the hundreds of breakfast places I have eaten at, today this one leaped to #1 on my must eat places in Adelaide. I ordered the Turkish Delight Coffee as well as a Pana Cotta and Smavo with Whipped Pumpkin to share. God Darn Gustatory Genius! The food hit my taste buds in such a unique and exciting way! Not a meta breakfast menu, that is for sure! 10/10 would recommend if you want to explore some new and well balanced flavours. The staff were so friendly and prompt as well. I don’t know what tree trunks those 1 star reviews had deep up their sphincters… I found all 3 wait staff well mannered and polite.

WOW, where does one begin as there is so much to say. 1.Firstly the lovely greeting from staff members upon arrival was very welcome & a very nice personal touch. All the staff we encountered were TOP NOTCH & very capable in what they were doing. 2. The safety measures taken in these unprecedented times was also VERY reassuring as was the overall cleanliness of the shop as well as the participation by other diners to do the right thing. 3. So nice to see that four legged fur friends were welcome in the outdoor dining area, this is incredibly inclusive & most welcome im sure by dog owners. 4. Parking & access to Pixie is magnificent with many parking options nearby. 5.The Coffee is AHHHHMAZING & thankfully we were able to buy a bag to go such was our delight at the most magnificent coffee which scores 100 out of 100. 6.THE FOOD, well what to say, it is totally AMAZEBALLS, 200 out of 100 is even too inadequate a score as it is that good. i had "'All you need is Leek"' which was buttered leek melted raclette on sourdough with almonds, poached eggs, lemon aioli, chives & a side of bacon TOTALLY DIVINE. My lovely wife had the special of the day which was an haloumi bowl with puffed rice, pea puree, caramalised carrot, raddichio, salad greens, watercress & chat potatoes. My wife has coeliac disease & this GF meal was perfect for her. we are very wary where we eat as we need to be sure that staff understand the necessity of cross contamination regarding GF food. We spoke the the owner of Pixie who was so thoroughly knowledgeable about his food & how is is cook etc which gave us great comfort. Overall then, cant score Pixie & The Hawk highly enough as EVERY SINGLE THING WAS 1000% PERFECT. Thankyou so very much & Merry Christmas, we cant wait to return.

The breakfasts menu here is incredible. It’s not often that I look at a menu and really can’t decide what to have. All the items sound absolutely amazing. Settled on the salmon and scrambled eggs on a potato roti. The flavours all mix well with the Mayo being a standout. Food amazing and staff attentive while still letting us have a peaceful meal. Their courtyard is cool and cozy. Will be back to sample some more breakfast options.

Really cute little cafe, super popular with a constant stream of people on a Sunday morning. Great vegan options too 🍆 ‘Bowl and the beautiful’ ($16.50) The good: Love that they tried to fuse asian flavours, and i think it all went well together. The eggplant wasn’t oily (tempura tends to be) and the flavour of the kimchi was good and not too spicy. The bad: I wouldn’t call it tempura eggplant as it doesn’t exactly have that quintessential tempura batter coating. The paste used to make the kimchi is a little grainy and dry, and the fermented cabbage is a little hard. The edamame beans were left in their shell which was funny. 🍄 Panic Shroom ($18.50) I loved everything about this! The crisp, thin toast, the mix of mushrooms seasoned in that slightly sharp umami dressing, the kale pesto, the housemade cheese. A little expensive for a sammie but it’s really good sized. ☕️ The house made hot chai was fantastic, if you’re a fan of spiced chai, you can taste the cloves/star anise-y flavour in this one.

Delicious lunch at pixie and the hawk! The leek dish was really nice and full of flavours. The beef brisket burger was super tasty with the sauce and the white kimchi (although the kimchi flavour could've been stronger). The fried chicken burger had super crispy chicken. Overall very good!

We love trying new places and have frequented almost all the popular brunch spots on this side of town. Pixie and the Hawk definitely takes the crown when it comes to delicious, innovative and great looking dishes!! We have tried multiple dishes over the years so this review is long overdue. My husband can’t stop talking about the French toast with Southern Fried Chicken and I’m always blown away by their vegetarian options, which has included various forms of Roti, amazing avocado on toast, tofu scramble or the raclette. The have a great selection of coffees and for those wanting more than espresso based drinks, they have batch brews and filter options that are amazing. We will keep coming back over and over and over and over ...... well done guys! keep up the good work and keep the good food coming!

The owner, Rhys is the nicest guy and treats his customers as his good friends and family. My partner and i came for breakfast on a saturday and we were both really happy with the whole experience. We brought along our golden retriever and it was nice to have a cosy space to sit with him outside, and had easy access down the side of the building to the back outdoor area. There was a big bowl of fresh water for my dog to drink from and they even brought him out a treat which he loved. My boyfriend had the 'mixed bag' breakfast and i ordered eggs with sides. We both really enjoyed our meals and the coffee was perfect ! We had asked for some minor adjustments for our meals and the staff were more than happy to accommodate. They were all extremely friendly and the service was fast and fantastic. Parking down a side street was easy and it was a nice short walk on a sunny day. I'll definitely be back :D
