What an absolutely mesmerizing dessert, Sweet Amalia Banoffee Journey. A delicate chocolate macaron filled with a scoop of their signature St Louis ice cream, serve with melted dark chocolate, pieces of chocolate sponge cake, dulche de leche, sliced banana, caramel popcorn that scattered around the macaron and a creamy hazelnut ganache that brings everything together. It tastes terrific as it looks.

The first time I came here I had a great experience. Unfortunately the second time we ordered and the server seemed very unsure on how to put in an order my belief is she wasn't trained well enough. The order was wrong, and many people who had arrived after us were getting their food and drinks beforehand. We waited 40 minutes for two coffees just for one to not be made at all. They did make a free replacement coffee. But the one they did make first had sugar in it when we had asked for no sugar. Some better training for staff handling the till seems like a good idea.

Cool atmosphere! The upstairs area has a cozy and nice vibe. Service was good. Desserts were really tasty but not worth the cost. We found it to be quite pricey. Good location. We went here fir dessert after dining out for dinner across the road. Ice creams looked good.

The ice-cream is really good, and in my opinion well priced. The menu is varied and effort is put into food presentation. The hot chocolate is awesome. The vibe of the place is nice and relaxed, upstairs is cool and a bit different. I like the outside seating. I do think the staff could benefit from some more training, that would certainly make it 5/5. A suggestion box is provided which is cool, not many places are receptive and open to customer feedback. EDIT: The churros have increased in size which is awesome! Staff seem more attentive also!

I heard the place received many 'one star' ranking from customers. Today, I went to St. Louis to check whether it's true or not. I really enjoy the seating upstair (nothing special really) but at least a new environment. We didn't get much staff interaction, so I won't be able to comment on they - although when we placed the order and when the staff members brought the foods to our table "we saw the smile on their faces".

Started the day with breakfast out. Glad we went here. Food is delicious. Vegan options which suited me and great Baked eggs which suited him. I had the Afogato but with vegan raspberry icecream ...was amazing!

Who's kid doesn't like ice cream and with so many flavours to choose from, your child is guaranteed to leave on a sugar high that'll last all day hahaha. For the discerning adult, the St Louis signature hot chocolate is decadent. The only frustrating part of the experience was the young staff whom somewhat untrained, uninterested and lacking enthusiasm. C'mon guys and girls your serving happiness in a cone, so act accordingly and smile 😁🍦

I mean it does some things really well. I dont know how you make (correction not pancakes) crapes so average though its a pretty simple thing 😂

The only qr code is on the fron door. Very busy. If you would like take away, buy it from the G I user St or Glenelg stores. Those stores sell 500ml for $15 but the Unley store only gives you 3 scoops for the same take away. The icecream was to die for as usual. My 3 scoops of heaven was only $9. I had the 2 winter chocolate flavours and the wild strawberry. ABSOLUTE YUM One of my friends had the sorbet pictured and like it. My other friend had the raspberry tart which was a little hard to cut with the fork. Missing their wild raspberry sorbet

This beautiful version of St Louis is neatly tucked away in the throws of King Will is the perfect place for an afternoon pick me up or an evening wind down. Their upstairs really sets them apart too, they have a beautiful upstairs area that boasts a view of the entire place. Each time I have been here their staff has been attentive to us, even if we sat right upstairs, they have been quick to make and serve the food we ordered and they have been forgiving of us for coming in late and ordering drinks to stay in. Parking is always close by on King Will, so thats never an issue and there is usually a park in the small carpark behind the building anyway if you go at the right time. We have never had any issues.

First time there, food isn't overly expensive that matched the quality and that's unusual for Hyde park. I think management should look at having one more staff member on for Sunday afternoons the two that were on were flat out not being able to make everything while still giving good customer service, not their fault at all when the menu is what it's like. The wait time was longer than expected but again not enough staff. 4 stars for the staff working hard not for the company's overall rating.

A very nice place for breakfast, brunch and dessert in an ideal location along King William road. It's menu offers something unique which caters to those with special dietary requirements. St Louis' touch of elegance and friendly customer service allow for a relaxed environment to enjoy with your friends, family or just yourself. It's location and interior are a highlight for me personally as I love the spacious design and the large windows which allow you too overlook the street corner with plenty of natural lighting. The food itself was very refined and exceptionally well presented. I enjoyed the waffles dish and didn't leave feeling like I'd eaten too much. I will be coming back here to try something new. I would recommend this place for something fresh with your friend or family. Late morning and late night are an amazing time to be along King William road.

Love the "skinny cap" coffee in a mug at St Louis with real chocolate shards which melt to the bottom of the mug as you drink. Coffee served with a little biscuit. Nice touch. Ice cream is right up there with the best. Many flavours to choose. That's the difficult part - which one? Just have to return for a different flavour. Breakfast and light meals are served. Staff are friendly, order at the counter but table service after that. Seating is comfortable including a more intimate area upstairs. Seating available outside at smaller tables. Dogs welcome, water provided for our four legged friends. Heating in Winter, a/c in Summer and one part of the external wall of windows tilts open completely to create fresh air flow and an inside/outside atmosphere. There is only one negative - the restrooms are up the stairs - not so good for creaking knees. Still a pretty good experience.

Lacking of warmth in the daytime, cold...had to leave quickly as it was so cold. amazing 'having here' hot chocolates and the customer service was great. I order a aprichoc raw slice and was given a snicker slice. The lady happily gave me aprichoc and asked me to keep the snicker. Appreciated that very much.

Came here on opening day and had a very bitter coffee after being served by 'George' who didn't even crack a smile, must have missed hospitality 101 training for his first day on the job. Thought I'd give you a second chance and came early last Wednesday morning with my dog and had to request not only a bowl of water for Arnold but also utensils for my food? Nice try but needs improvement.

St Louis Hyde Park has been a stalwart during Covid-19 and the only coffee/dessert place in the precinct remaining open late. The coffee is good, hot and strong and the staff happily fulfils any special requests. 😊 The menu is gradually returning to normal and I've seen plant of people indulging in berry laden pancakes YUMM! It caters for all ages and has some quiet reading books inside. Kids are welcome as are pooches (outside). St Louis has a happy vibe and has developed a loyal following.
