We came to the Food Barr after the rather traumatic experience. The staff were really compassionate, did not care how I looked when I walked in (not dressed at all like their usual customers) and were friendly and empathetic. The coffee was ok, but the stand out was the Acai Bowl. The serving was HUGE. It took 2 of us to finish it. Fresh, creamy, ice cold, filled with flavour and toppings, it was the first Acai Bowl I'd ever had. I've since had 2 more from different locations and it still remains the best one I've had.

What an enjoyable experience in quiet location with excellent music. Friendly service, good coffee, delicious food beautifully presented. A wide menu and nothing was too much trouble to make. Also plenty of vegetarian options for me. My go to favourite cafe now in Mawson Lakes Thank you !

Enjoyable corner cafe serving very tasty coffee and delicious, simple food. The team there were friendly, polite and courteous and despite the business, relaxed. Food was delicious (breakfast) and would recommend checking it out. Suggest some music to make the atmosphere and ambience even more enjoyable.

This is a top little cafe tucked on the corner of Goodall Parade run by a very friendly, welcoming couple. I am very fussy when it comes to coffee and can honestly say that theirs is delicious. The food is very tasty as well and the prices are extremely reasonable. I also like the location because you can sit outside as you eat your breakfast, morning tea or lunch without swarms of folk walking past you on their way to the shops which is a big plus for me.

Coffee and food fantastic, my favourite is the chicken caesar wrap or egg and bacon sandwich. Sue and Eric are super friendly and the best cafe in Mawson Lakes. Not on the main strip of restaurants and cafes in Mawson Lakes so make the effort to take a short stroll to Goodall Parade it will be well worth it.🍮🍩🍔🥗
