This is the first and best spot to stop (heading north). Food is freshly made and tasty. You will get a good meal and not be disappointed. We had the BLT , salad sandwich, THE LOT burger (which really is a lot!) and the Corn fritter wrap. Keen to now head back in and get some homemade dessert. Eat well!!

Awesome food! Ordered a sausage roll and a milkshake. The sausage roll was homemade and the best sausage roll I've ever had! The milkshake was amazing! I am drinking the drink as of writing this! We are moving from South QLD to North QLD so the likeley hood of me eating there again is low but if we go past it sometime. I will definitely stop for food. 22/20! We have stopped here several times over the years and they always have very good coffee, nice pies and big hamburgers. If you get there late in the arvo, the hotbox is usually empty so the pies and sausage rolls are popular. There can be a long wait for your food and coffee at times so if you're in a hurry, best ask before ordering.

Delicious pies!! We stopped here on our way down to Hervey Bay for a quick bite. Pies were hot and yummy. Didn't stay too long and didn't check out the store next to the cafe. Downside is, there's no public toilet here - you have to go across the highway to the park area.

Finally stopped in after 6 years of frequently passing. I prefer 1 stop for food toilet & fuel but bored with usual stops. I bought apple & pear slice. Well what a scoop!! Perfect balance of apple’s & pears with velvety cream,on a base to compliment topping & not take over. A light sprinkle of nutmeg & cinnamon to complete this delight. 10/10. The only thing wrong is the name; it deserves something better. Perhaps include the words heaven or divine? I think I have a new addiction. Next visit I’ll buy the carrot cake for my special friend too & hope it’s as good.

Amazing food plenty to choose from. Quality home cook meals. I would recommend stopping here on the way to Rockhampton. Not only the food is great the service is great too. Very friendly staff that will great you with a smile. Very helpful and knowledgeable. A nice stop to stretch after a long drive.

Great little Cafe. We called in for take-away Tea, one with milk and one without and only got charged for the milk; now that's a great service. Fantastic quirky place where you can sit amongst the model animals with wonderful home cooked food. We had the vegetable pie and pear and cinnamon cake amazing!! Served by two lovely, interesting opposing characters. Definitely worth a pit stop.

Was told by a fellow traveller they make the best pies in Australia....I had a basic meat pie and it would have to come very close to it...chunks of meat in thick rich gravey encased in a soft flakey pastry...the boss had a chicken pie and she said it was delicious...jaffles, sandwiches, made on site plus more on menu..cakes made locally were excellent, had a brownie that was delicious( had it later when we got home 3 hours later)..coffe is good not bitter and not weak...good flavour...will be calling in again when we ride the bruce
