Don't let the hip vibe scare you off, incredibly friendly staff and quick service will have you coming back! Not to mention the coffee is excellent. There are some tables out the back too so plenty of space to sit down, if your not just after a takeaway.

This is my partner and I’s favourite place to get a coffee in Brisbane. We’ve been going for a year now. The taste is exceptional and the service to match.

I’m starting to tell now a place that really knows how to make a great coffee: have a look at how focused they are when they’re making it. You can see it in my pic here at Contessa. And yes my coffee was really good. But there was something else I liked about this place, which I think was captured well by another review I read, they’re pretty cool these dudes and yet they were friendly and helpful (despite my daggy thermos cup.)

I love finding a cafe where the Barista understands coffee and how to best approach a particular roast. Contessa definitely ticks all the right boxes when wanting a coffee served the right way. such a wonderful cup served with a smile. will absolutely be back.

I drink a soy latte which is absolutely gorgeous here as they use Bon Soy which makes a huge difference. Barristers here are always on point and never mess up a coffee! The small snacks they have are delicious too!

Absolutely amazing coffee! I got myself an earl grey tea and my partner got a latte, whilst my tea was amazing I had massive coffee envy after tasting the coffee. Brilliant!

But why must it take so long...? My frustration is also due to receiving the wrong order, which wouldn’t bother me if the wait wasn’t so interminable that no one in their right mind would bother kindly asking to have their coffee remade on soy (not fart inducing milk)

I personally don't like the Black Star coffee but heaps of guys at work do and I understand coffee is funny 'drug' you like what you like. 😊 3 stars still though as the staff seem like good guys and girls and it wasn't burnt or green so it's not their fault I don't like it.
